this app really sucks it doesn't listen it laggs and takes forever you hit one button for an option it takes you to the other p.a. lottery app is way better never puts you through any of this nonsense all to check a ticket n.y. is worthless anymore

it's trash, don't waste your time. there's like a million steps to make an account and need to provide personal information like your address, state id and selfie. and half the time the process doesn't even work. They're probably making it hard on purpose so people don't claim their wins.

I scanned a ticket and it said sorry not a winner. something told me to scan it again and it said congrats $10 winner. I hope i didn't scrap a real winner 🤬 check your tickets twice because this app is not reliable.

This app just literally doesn't work. I can't use it. I can't even tell what I can and can't do with it because it just crashes every time I try to click on something.

No longer can scan tickets with my Samsung S25+. All worked well before last update 4.2.1. Developer please fix this issue.

Another update and the ticket barcode scanning syill isn't working. Message says can't connect to system. Obviously the development team test the app before releasing!

Worst possible interface; continual issues with resetting passwords (five tries, and it still "doesn't match"); scan function erratic at best; doesn't credit my account because it can't find it anymore. Utter failure.

I had collect and win and it was working just fine. NYl+ thought this was going to be easy there's no scanner now you have to type in the stuff and why do I have to go somewhere else to scan I'll edit my feedback when things get better can't even find out if I made it to the second stage of the of the NASCAR Powerball sweepstakes. I think I need to see a doctor now ugh thanks New York Lottery

I try to scan a lottery ticket and it keeps saying 404 Error This device cannot access the system right now. I never had a problem and it works on my friend's phone. How do I fix this? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cleared the cache, allowed all permissions, restarted my SamsungA71 android phone.I use this feature a lot and I need it to be fixed.Please help! Is it my phone that is suddenly not allowing this, is it a problem in the app or on the site? Also, where else can I scan?

as usual, a new and improved app is worse than the prior version. you have to create an account to check tickets now. the font and layout is TOO BIG and any other app has normal font size, so it's only this app. it's annoying to navigate. the prior version was 10 times better.

This used to be an effective way to check lotto tickets, but since the latest update I will no longer be using it. To require a login to scan tickets is ridiculous especially since they want the last 4 of your SSN to create an account. Absolutely unnecessary considering I'm only trying to checking a ticket

The new app sucks! It's confusing and much more difficult to use than the old one. It's not at all user-friendly. Update 10/5/2025: Scanning your ticket to see if you won has suddenly stopped working for tickets like Lotto, Mega Millions, and Powerball. It appears to still be working for scratch off tickes, although maybe not as well as it has in the past.

Also experiencing the scanner no longer working, which is my primary use for the app. Unacceptable - as an IT QA guy i can confidently say "this should never happen", especially not for an entire day - an entire week makes me extremely concerned about their general competence with handling of coding and environments. Yikes! I'll stop buying lottery tickets until this is fixed and i can scan the ones i bought.

I hate this updated version. I usually drop my numbers and check them later at my house using this app. Now that its in numerical order it takes away the suspense of the game. Basically you know you lost before half of the numbers are drawn. I would like to see the ball drop in radom order ( like you would see at a bar or gas station). Not going to play if this is the only way I can check my ticket. If you want to check in numerical order go to the actual website. Terrible update for this app.

Very slow to update results, not reliable at all. Scanning doesn't work correctly all the time. Honestly not worth it. I get faster results from other websites. Also, it's ridiculous to have to sign in all the time manually to scan tickets, instead of the app remembering your credentials. Suspect it's tracking your winnings and who you are.

The app is terribly buggy, ESPECIALLY the ticket scanner. It has been like this for years now. You go to scan a barcode, and while you're trying to line it up, it cuts to the "how to scan a barcode screen". It's so bad that it doesn't give you 2 seconds to line up the barcode before it closes the scanner and pulls up the instruction screen. Yes I know how to scan a barcode, if you'd give me a seconds to line it up maybe I could.... terrible app.

Well the scan feature is terrible. The lense they offer to put the bar code into goes out of focus. yet the camera all outside of the lense is crystal clear. as is all other uses using my camera. it's the app issue. Furthermore, when you go to any of their lotto games you instantly see that the jackpot is either won, or not won, which makes checking any of your purchased tickets anticlimactic you instantly know you have lost if the jackpot goes up. excitement in checking the tickets is nice
