Just updated the app and instantly meet problem. It shows "Unable to access Google Service, … [SAFETYNET_NO_CONNECTION2GOO_SAF-999]". Uninstall and intall it again, now on the start it shows "Octopus Wallet can't be used in this device. Unable to access Google Service, …". Any Octopus guys here please help!!!

It's very troublesome when you've changed your mobile number…which isn't that uncommon. Another thing is the action required, eg. tabbing the card or entering the card#, and text for description are identical. This is confusing for users if we need to press it to perform an action or just informational.

Added root and safetynet checking. Forcing people to jump through hoops and hurdles to use it.

Always give error messages even I use "skip" option. The app has significant bugs in it.

idk whether it's highly secure but definitely it hasn't the best interface. Also still I can not be able to register my ID card because of shadow or glare (!),

Completely trash while keep random crash and say insecure and suddenly work with nothing changes. Also inconsistent login logic and insane web redirection to random page

Too many notifications!!! I get more than 3 notifications every day to check my latest statement. This is not necessary at all!!!! And I can't even perform basic function now! Can't even pay bill to water supplies department without scanning the QR code. I used to be able to do this using account number Fire your app development team!!!

Omg this is so convenient I dnt have to go to 7eleven anymore when I urgent to add credit just transfer from bank to octopus app and then transfer back to the card at first I dnt know how to use this app and I even can't tap to the card reader on the bus was confused finally I got it transfer to the card thank u dev 🙏🙏🙏 I have to edit this review my account was canceled idk why,and I have problem review my documents

The Optopus Wallet Pro upgrade function is totally rubbish. Unable to scan HKID, keep saying that the background is too dark even though I put a white sheet at the back and scan under sunlight.

Cannot use Octopus after update to latest version. If does't allow youe phone to install apps outside Google Play anymore. Don't upgrade

Cannot use the app due to it cannot access Google services, even skip this function. The app is downloaded from Google play store.

Absolutely horrendous apps which was impossible for foreigners to use. Even as a Hong Kong (non permanent) resident, it was impossible for me to set it up due to all kinds of weird restrictions.

I transferred my octopus card to wallet and activated octopus mastercard. Everytime i try to top up octopus, it will go to octopus mastercard so i cant use my octopus for payment. After so many attempts still goes to octopus mastercard then i gave up. I have settled down using other payment like alipay. I dont consider using their service again. Its annoying. I should have stick to the card itself. Its over now. Thank you for the inconvenience.

Very bad! A recent update caused the app to not work saying it cannot access Google Service which makes no sense since it was working perfectly fine for over a year and other Google apps worked fine as well

I tried to access my account in the but but it won't let me because I have other apps not installed via Google Play (Play protect says I'm safe). I cannot possibly delete all my other apps just for the purpose of this excessively bloated app. How rigid and inconsiderate this requirement is. Does it really make it safer? Then Alipay and wechat chat disappear from the market.

Stupid UI design, misleading, check balance: click on function, bottom states tap card, but instead u have to click on it first to switch to another page, then tap card. Probably more issues, but I wouldn't bother to find out...

80% of time is spent on just loading or waiting for the app to process my action even when I am connected to a stable network. Thus, the user experience is significantly impacted. Hopeful that the team is aware of this and look into it

The app has a ridiculous top-up limit of 25000/year. In order to overcome that, it forces me to upgrade to the stupid pro wallet, and for that it demands all my sensitive private information, and still the final step didn't work until I tried again a few days later. Original review: It's fine, I wish it had more options for exporting data and more than 3 months history

Loving it more than ever. Please allow "cloning"/emulation of cards/on multiple various devices instead of manually transferring and writing off the physical card Unfortunately, the newer version no longer reads my octopus automatically, it only detects, hope you could work on rolling back with option the view with fullscreen or pop-up notifications for remaining value at a glance.
