The casual & power user will love this notes app equally. It has the advanced features the power user requires with a simplistic and intuitive interface that makes the casual user feel comfortable. edit: recent bugs on mobile primarily when deleting notes. Once this is fixed it will return to being my favorite notes app!!

buggy and laggy. I want a powerful tool to link together pages and databases when I'm on my computer, great, but on mobile I need speed above all. I need to do the simplest task of searching my pages, finding the page, and opening it so I can read (ideally edit). The UX on mobile Android has been buggy. Great web app on desktop, just really need mobile key features to work. Consider prioritizing the basic notes app functions over new LLM features. Uninstalling to see if it solves bugs.

I haven't been using notion for too long, but I can certainly say that it's an amazing free tool for me to organize information for my novel. Now I'm just hoping there isn't any BS word limit or something similar, because I've encountered stuff like that and it's honestly just annoying. The second I see an important feature locked behind a paywall, it makes the app feel cheap. So In the future I hope nothing like that is implemented.

Helps life with ADHD be less chaotic. Useful for business and general things. I'd start with a free template for what you want to accomplish then make it your own. If you find you need multiple, then link them together in a dashboard page so you can make an over view of your data sets/info as well as have a quick way to access them. I use it on desktop more than on my phone as phones are generally less useful in every regard other than motility.

It's really easy to use! It's made writing a breeze, and unlike Google Docs, my works won't be sold to AI companies to train AI writing services. My main pet-peeves are being unable to indent a paragraph -- but that can be easily solved with the space bar; and the use of some AI within the app (they aren't required, I just refuse to use those functions, but I don't personally approve of the use of AI).

The only thing relevant about Notion in general that I also want to review here is that offline access isn't guaranteed. You might be able to view things, but edits probably won't be saved and then synced. On top of that, this app is slow, janky (e.g. the editing toolbar decides to disappear until you restart the app), and doesn't have the best feature parity with desktop (e.g. you cannot rearrange items in a menu). Desktop's the definitive experience, but can still do basic edits with this.

Notion is seriously good and I can't imagine my life now without it. But there are just little quirks here and there that keep it from being perfect. 1 is the odd blocks system so when you copy and paste to another place, there is weird line spacing that's added. 2, and this looks to be an android specific issue that will hopefully be fixed soon, is that when I click the search button I can't actually add text. I can only click my recent options. I would still recommend trying Notion though.

Nothing can describe the crushing weight of realizing just how reliant I've become on this tool when I'm on an airplane and can't access any of my information. Please please please figure out an offline solution! Update: for the love of god, offline mode. Update: every time i have to use this on mobile I want to rate it lower. Why is there not even basic caching - i have to wait 10+ seconds to navigate back to a page I was just looking at! Update: fed up with mobile app. Absolutely infuriating

Notion is cool but the Android app isn't very good for editing. (1) sometimes it won't let me move blocks; long pressing just edits the block instead. (2) sometimes the text edit toolbar is just gone. (3) sometimes the text edit toolbar is there but the buttons are all invisible and I have to guess which one I'm clicking. All of these are solved by reopening the document or the app but it's really not a good user experience.

At first this app worked great. Then, shortly after I upgraded to a paid plan, it became mostly unusable. Switching pages results in a blank screen. I have to force restart the app to get it working again. The Mac desktop app continues to work fine, so I suspect this is a bug in a recent update to the Android app.

This is a fantastic system that can be used for way more than just note-taking! I use it to organize and run my online business and track my life tasks, events & meal planning. When I was in college, it was great for keeping track of assignments, notes, and information, even drafting my thesis paper inside the app instead of Google Docs or Word, which you could do and link or embed. I also keep a list of wishlist items and so much more! This is one of the most used apps on my phone!

Still consistent bugs in text editing, sync from mobile to desktop is intolerable and implemented poorly. It has the worst time making updates on mobile when off wifi, multiple times I needed a file, and it just couldn't figure out what to do. So be it, when it does work, it works. I have a Plus paid plan and they are now filling my pages with Ads for Notion AI. Like what? Are you kidding, why am i paying for ads?

It's a great note taking and organization app but the bugs are getting excessive. There will be times when I open a note and the app just opens blank and nothing happens. It will stay blank until I close the app and reopen it. this is frustrating especially if you're trying to take a quick note or if you're trying to edit an earlier note.

Personally, you're better off just not using the Android app. Enter Notion.so in Chrome, then save it to your home screen and it creates a full screen web app. It's always some loading issue or annoying glitch. They can never seem to get their apps right. Every time I load a database or page at first it's just a white blank page. Then I have to clear the app out of memory, go back in, and then the database loads finally. And then on the Windows app the icon list takes forever to load!

I really enjoy this app but unfortunately I can't copy text in my pages. The highlighting over text to copy it disappears or glitches. On Android and my iPad. It's extremely frustrating. I also wish there was a word search option in pages feature. Otherwise, this app is one of the greatest apps I use and has helped me compile my thoughts and stay organized.

I really like the program-really. But the app leaves something to be desired. Specifically a way to view, and interact with, something in a widget, such as a database. I've created an actual daily to do list that will refresh daily based on what's in another part of the database and want to be able to have it on phone home screen. But I can't.

Learned about this app from a friend and holy it is pretty amazing! However, there are various features only available on the desktop website and the site does not work well with bad Internet at all. (Which also, trying to use the website on mobile is unfortunately flawed and annoying because the site reformats occasionally to only have room for like 2 characters before text-wrapping)

i have used this app on many platforms for many months and ive noticed that on pc, it's has no issues at all. on mobile, there are a couple things that happen, like a little bit of lagging or words jumping, but thats very minor. on my tablet, its about the same, just slightly different. however, i always see the team making improvements to the app! highly recommend using Notion because of its blend of note taking, organization and aesthetics.

Absolutely amazing... On every other platform. Been using Notion for many years, and it seems they simply don't prioritize the Android platform. I understand it's the most difficult to develop for, and that it's a very complex app, but... No other similar app has these bugs 😬 I've lost track of how many reports I've submitted, and every time a bug is fixed, another takes its place. My whole life is in this app, I love it to death, but they're making it hard to recommend for Android users 😅

If you have 300 disorganized Google docs with recipes, plans, notes, etc., this app is for you. I can keep all my to-do lists, thoughts, plans together in different formats that makes them easy to navigate and access. Wish I'd known about it sooner. Unfortunately, it does have a bug where it fails to load individual pages on reopening the app from the background. I have to close the app and restart it. Minor inconvenience, but such a basic problem that it shouldn't even BE a problem.
