It works great, I would suggest 2 things to make it 5 star. Make changing the position easier, x/y coordinate is difficult to use. I don't like how the light fades. I'm not talking about the blinking. The "blink" changes its colors intensity while it's on. I'd rather have the option to just make it one solid color during the blink.

I really like the idea of getting my led notification back, but because I have the wrong type of device, the app literally lights up my entire screen with a black background so it can put a glowing dot in one of the corners. The reason I liked the led notifications on my old phone was because I could tell that I had a notification without the screen turning itself on and waisting extra battery. So just so you know, (because the developer didn't say it) It doesn't work with LCD displays.

I have a OP6T. I've been using this app for quite awhile now, and it's super useful. Sometimes there are screen wake issues, but nothing too irritating, and the quantity of these has significantly decreased with one of the last updates. But my FAVORITE feature was recently added. The alert light can be the app icon. I had no idea I wanted that, and I love it. Finally, a reason to not care about the lack of a built in LED, making a con of the phone into a pro. Thank you!

It seems nice at first, but then once you get a notification and try to use your phone normally you see the flaws of the app. FaceID rarely works with this installed, to even turn on your phone with a notification you have to press the power button multiple times making the wake up processes of your phone go from less than a second to 10 seconds, and if you were able to unlock your phone with your fingerprint without pressing the power button that no longer works... More problems than solution

I've missed having an LED notification on my phone for a while now and this is a good replacement. Battery drain is there (not that bad), but do to how it works it makes sense. If you're using an OLED screen you don't have to worry as much, but you still get it from removing battery optimization on the app. Plenty of settings to adjust it to how you like and seems to work fine. Running on a Pixel 4XL.

Watched the ad and tried for free. Ended up watching another ad to extend the free premium version. Finally decided it was worth the small amount of money. It's been doing its job well. My only gripe is that once in a while the phone unlocks at full brightness after unlocking with a notification "LED". I lock the phone again and unlock it and it's back to normal brightness. If it cost more, I'd complain, but it's such an easy fix and it happens so infrequently that I'm not even docking a star.

Works great! Please consider adding the ability to set a second notification dot. For example, one side of the screen such as the top left might be covered by something, so a second dot on the opposite edge of the display would allow you not to miss that notification! If you want to add to that: allow to have multiple dots if you get stacked notifications that you set different colors for.

Could be great with a few adjustments. Fingerprint unlock doesn't seem to work unless you tap the screen to wake and then fingerprint unlock. The position seems to change slightly every time the notification blinks. I put it around the camera hole and the first blink is perfect but then the others are off to either side with each blink. Need more options for charging as well, like slow pulse maybe separate positon from notifications. Fix/change the above and I'd probably buy premium.

I purchased the Premium version and it worked great. I loved it. It was my favorite app. Warning though, after the Android Oxygen OS update it stopped working, despite all permissions granted. Uninstalled, then reinstalled. Notifications still not working and now I have to pay again for the Premium version again. So be careful IF you have an OS upgrade. Would love to get support from developer to get this to work again.

OP6T - so close! Unless I'm using it incorrectly! I have been using Pulse Beat or something but instead of a blinking light it showed the app symbol. Kind of cool but I missed the led. Everything works, but what bugs me is thay the flash of the screen waking up, followed by the led blink, but I have to press the power button twice - as if one press puts the notification screen to sleep, and the second press actually wakes the phone up. Fix that and it gets 5 stars!

Love the concept, it just doesn't work. Make this work all the time with every notification and I would gladly pay you $10 for it. It's just not reliable. I still have to turn the phone on to check missed messages. And shame on Samsung for building a phone that doesn't already have this built in. If I wanted to miss every notification, I would be using the iPhone. At least that lights up the screen. Please fix this app. It would be absolutely perfect for what I need, if it worked.. keep trying.

I love that you created this! I too have the 6t and was upset when they took the blinking notification light away. I just installed it and so far it works greats. Job well done! I suggestion is to show the number or tick marks of seconds/minutes under the settings for how long the light blinks for and the blinking rate. Its hard to know the exact amount as there is no labels while scrolling left and right for the settings. Other than that, I love it!

It's worth the $1.49 for premium, my notification light is huge now. In the free version: I can place the notification wherever I want on my screen and choose what color represents each app. The size of the light in the free version is kind of on the small side, smaller than the lights on any other phone I've ever had, which is why I bought the premium version. The bigger the dot the easier it is to see it.

Some of the app works with premium...The color does not change after setting a new default color. Also there is no fingerprint icon after enabling the setting. The fingerprint function works, but you have to know where the fingerprint reader is located on the screen as there is no indication on the NotifyBuddy screen. Edit: It turns out that you have to re-add the apps to the active apps for the color change to take effect.

Having my notification LED back is great thank you! I have a couple of suggestions though 1)Give an option for when to stop showing notifications, currently it will only flash the "LED" until you unlock your phone, then it stop whether you acknowledge it or not. 2)Give the option to show multiple motivations at once, so a line of x amount of different notis simultaneously, instead of alternating between them. 3)Stability, it seems pretty common that it doesn't show up at all. 5 stars when fixed

Works great on my Pixel 7. Let's me see if I have notifications from a distance, without needing to pick up the phone or waking it. It's incredible that a physical LED still isn't standard equipment on all phones these days, but this app fills that gap nicely. Free version is fine but paid version let's you customize more (perhaps most importantly, the ability to resize the notification dot for more visibility).

I like the idea and it does work but it won't change the color I've set only shows a blue/green color when though I've set it to pink, if you have a fix for this I'll change my rating. I just paid for premium, all settings are correct, all proper permissions granted, not optimized, haven't seen it work once except on the test, going to ask for money back if I can't get any help from the seller!

Works great! I have a pixel 3a and was so tired of having to pick up the *&#@! phone and turn it on to see if I had messages. I tried a few other notification apps, but just couldn't get them to work reliably. This one works great and has more than enough options. I paid for the premium version, cheaper than a cup of coffee and well worth it!

Best solution there is today. Worked right away on One Plus 6T. Thank you very much for your contribution! With that said: Native One Plus Gestures cannot be used when the light is blinking. You have to tap screen twice to wake it, then tap twice again to make it sleep. Then it would work... That is if it is not being charged, then the charging light comes on which disables the Gestures again. I am not Android dev, but if it possible to make Gestures work, would be much easier to use the phone.

I can not recommend this app to anyone. It's not an actual LED so it's way too dim to be helpful and the viewing angle range is narrow. I noticed my phone didn't wake up the same after installing this app. Thanks but I'm about to uninstall now. As to Motorola....shame on you for excluding the notification LED on this model. It has a bright white LED but the message Apps, text and email, are not able to use it in their notification settings...have only seen it light up during start up.
