Since the new update, the launcher looks horrible chonky and really not comfortable anymore Before it has such a nice design and fit my needs perfectly, now it just feels very heavy and also why is the search bar on the bottom now I guess you can get used to this, but it did fit better at the top imo

everything is good about new updates except 2 things 1.The search bar at below and there is no option to change it back to top of the app drawer ! 2. adding of more apps in private space would be great ! PS - for every update you are messing with some good apps don't do that ! if it isn't problematic don't change it !

Do you people know how to mess up everything. Already its so messy that no one can find an app, over that you have added the search bar down. remove it asap. we are already tortured by this terrible interface and no use of sending suggestions to you guys.

the latest update which moves the search bar in the apps menu needs to revert back to the top I hate the search bar at the bottom & I loathe seeing the widgets underneath & shortcuts to within the app just go back to how it was before which was simple. by far the worst update period at the least provide an option to revert back. for anyone who doesn't like the redesign go to the Play store go to nothing launcher and uninstall but make sure to select disable auto updates on for the app

I have a Nothing phone 2 and CMF buds. I needed some support for the phone and these guys are superb. Great support and the phone is fantasitc. I know its not related to the launcher but the noise cancelling on the buds is pretty good too. Loving the launcher, I would load it on my other phones too if they were compatible.

Great launcher for nothing phones ❤️ *** just facing new update problem this july 2025, suddenly my app drawer search bar is changed his location it's really annoying, please don't change any location as they showed before , it's affecting my daily life, just add more option to Toggle it where I can fit it upper or lower. please look into the matter. change it as soon as possible. this app rating is 5 ⭐ but for this issue I give this 1 ⭐ for now.

i have been using nothing 3a for a while now and generally loves it's clean interface and minimalistic feel. But after today's update, a persistent search bar was forced into the app drawer -and it's honestly frustrating. there is no way to disable or hide it, which feels like huge step back for user customisation.

Moving the search bar to the bottom was the worst thing you could've done, it looks ugly like a kid designed it, also when I'm trying to swipe through my app draw, I'll occasionally tap search by accident and this really frustrates me, it also just looks ugly how the different categories in smart sorting option of app draw now has no space between them so they just look bunched up and harder to differentiate... please switch it back, don't fix what isn't broken

Nothing is doing a great job in improving O.S but they're could be a few more things which can be added to make user experience better such as 1. deep blacks to fully utilise OLED display 2.backgraoind animation while laughing app 3. option to manually adjust volume of appa which can be useful when using Spotify and any other other app simultaneously

Hard changing fundamentals with no option to customise or change back. First it was removing the option to have fingerprint biometrics vibration UNLESS you turn on ALL haptics (which I didn't want to do as most haptics are annoying) now it's changing where the app drawer search bar is, with no way to change or customise it back to where it was. I wanted to support Nothing because of the vision of the devices, but they're becoming Apple in all the worst ways possible. And it makes me want to stop

Give us the option to choose between “With App Drawer” and “Without App Drawer.” Right now, Nothing Launcher only offers a horizontal swipe app drawer, but many of us prefer an iOS-style vertical home screen where all apps are accessible by swiping left or scrolling, without opening a separate drawer. This should be a basic toggle in settings — minimalism is great, but removing user choice isn’t. Please add this feature so we can use the launcher the way we want.

Doesn't work at all when Wifi Scanning and Location Accuracy are turned off. Other apps that use precise location like Google Maps work just fine with those features disabled and are still able to find my precise location. However, Nothing Weather simply refuses to function when these extra options are disabled in system settings, even with a precise location permission grant.

4 stars (or maybe I should give 3) because the latest update does not allow me to swap places (top or bottom) the search bar. Also, I don't want to see what widgets applications offer when I'm searching for apps in the app drawer. If it doesn't sacrifice the performance and smoothness, please add options to swap/ turn of search bar in app drawer and ability to toggle suggestions. Thank you.

The best when it comes to animations and fluidity, but far inferior to e.g. Nova Launcher when it comes to customizability of the home screen in general and widget sizing in particular. On the nothing launcher, the space around widgets is often excessive, and some widgets can't even be resized at all.

I get changing the locations of UI elements like the search box on the bottom now but seriously would it be a lot of work to give us a settings panel so we can customise the placement? let me set it how I like and stop being arrogant. Also bring back hiding app icons, its bad enough I cannot uninstall all the google stuff Nothing feels I need but I don't use or want but let me hide them for ffs. Private space isn't the same as hiding and I can't add google phone to that anyway.

Needs more customization options in app drawer The new app drawer search is frustrating. Instead of more and just the app suggestions, it shows widgets and suggested files, which take up too much space. Only 4 apps are shown on top, making it harder to quickly access apps. For example, typing "gp" doesn’t show the ChatGPT app. I have to type more just to find common apps. Please allow turning off widgets/suggestions. I was a fan of nothing launcher b4, but now considering to a different one.

I feel like the newer version of the app drawer search ain't that good. I don't understand why you'd want to show widgets when you search for apps. Widgets are more like stuff you add/update rarely and item mostly one time. Showing options from settings like wifi, bluetooth could be much better. And defaulting to Google search when no options are available could be great. The earlier app drawer was minimal and was good enough.
