Simple, more intuitive than other note apps (e.g., Google Keep) but flawed. | TEXT-SELECT TIP: Tap TITLE in note, then long-press TEXT to get text-select handles. Annoying but works. | BACKUP TIP: "Export notes to SD card" leaves data in INTERNAL storage ("noteeverything/text"). For backup you must copy "text" folder to SD card &/or other device. On new phone, copy "text" backup to internal "noteeverything" folder. I've done this twice on new phones. Backup should be automated via cloud storage.

I honestly loved Note Everything as an app that I could write all my ideas and storylines into without any super bells and whistles... unfortunately, I lost a ton of amazing content I'll never get back when my phone broke. I would have loved this app more if I could have my Dropbox or Google account linked to save my back-ups so I can save myself from worrying about something like that. I'm sure you can in the pro edition, but I just want something simple that saves to more than my device.

I've been using this for about 4 years and one of the features I like besides that it works offline and it's not a subscription is that you can long-press and get a time or time date stamp so when I do my Daily Journal I stamp the time throughout the day nobody else offers that not even Evernote which I also use. The main problem though is the developer apparently gave up on updating the app and has not done anything since 2016 which is too bad.

Still think this is best but: NOTE 8 - Android 9: Not updated in 3 years. Even so it still is worth 4 stars. Needs to update the copy/paste function & menu, etc. I can export text. I can do all the functions. Including backing up to Google drive. But cannot save to the SD card. I have tried every Note app and paid for many of them. There just isn't anything as functional as this except it must be updated. Please please update I will pay for Version 2! I am now looking at Orgzly or Google Keep.😭

:^/ I really enjoy this software most of the time, but copying my notes from my old cellophone to my new one is tedious. "Export To SD Card" doesn't ask where, and doesn't create new files. "Import From SD Card" requires me to tell the new phone where the old phone put it, which the old phone didn't tell me. Connecting both phones to my laptop via USB, then copying the Noteeverything folder from Internal Storage doesn't copy all files. Only 22 of 151 files were copied. :^{ Why is this?

Love this app. Have used it for years. Wondering if it's even still supported, as there have been no updates in 3yrs. Installed on my dad's Android 9 phone, got a message saying it might not function properly. No response from developer when you email them. It will be a shame if it doesn't work on future versions of Android, as I haven't found any other note taking apps as versatile as this one.

Amazing news: NoteEverything has been updated! This is still the most important app on my phone, aside from my contacts list. So far my only complaint is that I can't get to the Search button in portrait mode on my Samsung Galaxy S21. The new white background looks great. I can't save to a zip file, but it looks like backups will work. Thanks so much for breathing new life into this vital app!

i have used this app for years and loved it during that time, i have transfered my notes to 3 different phones during this time, but now it seems as if the developer has become greedy and changed the app to where you can no longer import your backup you can only export a backup unless you purchase the "pro version", this was a giant slap in the face recently as i have a phone that got wiped clean and didn't find out that i could not import my backup file that i had saved. Thanks!

This is my fav app to make quick notes. I'll make it 5* if you can fix a new bug. If I make a list in chronological order with the newest at top, the app bugs out once I make it longer than a couple lines longer than the screen can view, it bugs out by scrolling down and hiding the top. At 1st I fixed it by leaving a period on each line that was hidden, but after a few new lines it keeps hiding the top. I can scroll to top but as soon as I take finger off screen, poof it's hidden again. Pls fix

I have had Note Everything for way over 10 years and more than 10 different devices. I loved the options it had. It was a no-brainer to purchase the Pro version. I wanted to support the app in some way. Sad that there were no updates until now. I had to do a double take just to make sure I saw what I think I did, lol. I hope this app stays around for a long time. It's funny how tech changes.

I was so excited to learn that the most amazing and most powerful note-taking app I've ever used, is back on the Android app store. This app gives you the ability of taking notes via text, voice note, drawing, or QR code. I'm using the basic version but I hear that the add-on version also has lots of cool functionalities as well. But the basic version is free. This app is very easy to use and very customizable. Ideal for visually impaired people.

I've had Note Everything for many years! So glad they came back and did so many great updates!!! I'd give it 5 stars, but they also took something away that has really hurt the app. I was able to go into a main folder and search for say, "Sing" in my movie cases I store DVDs in. Now when I search that, it doesn't let me just search that one folder. I have to go through each and every spot, which means searching through hundreds, if not thousands of notes that have "sing" in them. Still decent.

After the new update v4.4.3 on July 07 2024, the app acted very unstable on the note editing. During editing on the note, no matter where I type within the note, as soon as I start to type, the cursor keep jump down at the end of the note then I have to roll back where I just type. After 1 or 2 letter, the cursor jump to the end of note again, keep doing it until I finish editing. Happen only on this app, not on any other. Please Fix it. Thanks,

I love this app. I Have been using it for number of years and use it on daily basis. It has many features useful in notetaking and planning or for a to do list and it has many other features such as backup and encryption. Simple and yet has all useful features I can think of I need or might need. I used free version for sometime and then went for Pro version and love everything about this app, the interface, how it works, features it has. Its just perfect for me. Thank you for this app!

Update - absolutely thrilled to see that Note Everything has been updated and is being maintained again. Over several years when it looked like it was going away, I hadn't found anything as perfectly functional! From 2016: Been using since my Palm days. Interface is easy to navigate, and the developer offers backup to Dropbox, which is perfect.

I use this every day. Others lack the ability to store large notes, track editing position, change fonts, search within a note, and auto backup. Putting multiple pics into one note (gallery?) and 'undo' (for accidental select-all/delete events) would be a nice addition. Thank you sooooo much!

I love this app, might be the best note app I've ever used! Great backups which can be synced with other backup apps to upload your backups to clouds, strong encryption so you can put sensitive information in notes and securely encrypt them which works excellent if you use passwords and other security on your device on top of it too. Great folder and checklist functions. Only thing I wish they had was the ability to enable fingerprint unlock for encrypted files. But this app is really awesome!
