Very good emulator, smoothly runs every ROM that it recognises including hacks. Can use Game Genie codes. Ads are minimal and don't interfere with gameplay. You can adjust button size and place. D-pad shape needs work (it just needs to be closer to NES). Some ROMs aren't recognised because the file type isn't .ROM or .NES. You can add games by downloading ROMs. Nostalgia Emulators, please add in-app IPS patcher for hacks and external controller support. Also please make SNES emulator.

Button position is off when phone is in reversed landscape (upside down) position, and the changes I make to the control locations don't seem to save for landscape view. Other than that, it seems to work great, has save states, and can keep my game paused in the background for as long as I need.

the app runs nes roms almost flawlessly but i cant for the life of me use the touch .screen controls and i doubt many others can too. i tried to change the layout and still didnt have much luck. basically the catch is - i think you'll have little luck controlling the game because you generally need to press multiple buttons at once and it's nearly impossible to do that on a completerly flar surface in such precise spots. you will need a LOT of practice.

Not sure what's goign on but I can no longer move the control keys around on the screen. It doesn't save the control layout and forces the default. The menu only says "reset" and pressing the back button undoes what I did. Can't play games using the default layout. It used to work fine. I had to reinstall it and now it's like this.

Love this emulator. Also have the GBC emulator as well. Really enjoy the various adjustment options they've included, most are even available in the free versions. The best is the fast forward feature. It allows slower playing games (mostly RPG's) , to be a lot less tedious. Screen layout is easily customizable to any user. Only gripe is the controls feel slow, making most non-RPG games, significantly harder to play.

An accurate emulator that would be perfect if not for the somewhat unresponsive controls. I also can't seem to get cheats to work, but admittedly haven't given much effort in figuring out what kind of codes it's looking for (Game Genie codes come back with a "Invalid Code" prompt. I do like the thorough settings, especially for repositioning the game controls. Again, this program is just shy of five stars, and could stand an update to make the controls more responsive and console-comparable.

First off you need to DL the ROMs, which I like because I end up having only the games I want to play. I like the customizable layout, so I can adjust it more for my hands/fingers. I will probably buy the pro version. I would like to see the developer make a SNES emulator. Also, their email won't work for me. Not worth losing a star over since it's not related to the app quality or functionality. But still a bit annoying.

Hands down best emulator for mobile phones I've ever used. Love it! I have always installed this light version. It's free there's no pop up add videos. Or memory wasting spyware tracking wear that I've ever noticed. And I do notice almost all free apps have some sort of it. But since this is such a good app! I am planning on downloading pro version. since it's been such a good app! I always download I would like to give something to the programmers. It unlocks some extra features.

Absolutely LOVE this app!! So far it's been compatible with every ROM I've loaded into it. If you're an old school gamer or just want to take a nostalgic trip down memory lane, this is the app for you. From SuperMarioBros to The Legend of Zelda and everything in between, you've literally got your NES in the palm of your hand and there's never any need to blow in a cartridge or smack that sweet spot on the right hand side of the console. Every ROM works every time!!

Redownloading this app again, because I really do love it. I'm just hoping the on screen button layouts can be operative again? On controller layouts are very important for emulators to have. Without that feature,it kills the fluent gameplay! So please fix this issue... pretty please?! Five star rating and a very good review and recommendation!

Originally reviewed 5 stars. They patched it and now literally nothing works. It will no longer find my roms on my phone and the UI doesn't even work because it's just cycling through ad banners across the bottom of the screen. I don't know why they chose to completely destroy what was really one of the best Emulators out there, but they did it. Kudos. You took careful aim and shot yourselves right in the foot.

Great emulator for Android. Plays games very well, with no apparent flaws (that I've noticed so far). However, it does have a big problem with the hit boxes for the buttons being set waaay above the buttons themselves. It makes playing the games super irritating. But there IS a workaround. Fortunately, the emulator works with controllers. So get yourself a USB controller (I use a PS3 wired aftermarket controller) and a USB-to-USB C adapter. It'll work for other emulators, too.

Great emulator. Runs ROMs just fine along with the cheats. I also love the sort of 'Indiglo' digital design and being able to see a preview of your game's save state with an indiglo filter as well. I've seen some reviews about issues with the controls, which may or may not have been fixed by now; to me, it's probably just a little tricky trying to use the d-pad quickly. 5 stars nonetheless; definitely recommend this emulator. 👍

Really good, but kinda frustrating. The interface and functionality are almost flawless, but the control pad is incredibly annoying with a massive dead spot in the center. It can kinda be alleviated by making the pad smaller, but I still can't get it where it needs to be. Diagonals are nearly impossible. I think an octagon hit box would help tremendously. Also, the gun feature is useless. The mapping is off or something, it's virtually impossible to land a hit. Kudos for the rest though!

Everything is okay with this, no lag, no trouble, and no ads during games. But one problem is that when I save or a load a slot twice it removes my rom and i have to do a search every time to get the game back, and it's not only saving and loading, it's multiple types of this problem, like leaving the app, and sometimes flipping the screen on accident.

this app is amazing.it doesnt force you to buy the pro version, and it runs almost any nes game perfectly.my only complaint is that there are times when you are holding a or b with a direction on the dpad, and the action doesnt register. i see this most commonly in classic mario games,where i dont jump as high, as if i didnt hold the button, or i just stop moving completely.this is very frustrating to me, even with using savestates,as it is very slow to recover from.

The rewind feature is limited to only 10s?? What about the people who want to experiment? Also, the fast forward button turns off when exiting a game, just disable it already. Oh and don't get me started on the controls, too janky, you can't even press more than two buttons at a time. What do you mean by, "remote controller"? Can't you just plug one in and skip all that junk? All in all, this emulator is pretty good at emulating, but these bugs are too annoying. p.s. the font is too unreadable
