Nostalgia.GG is a high quality Game Gear emulator based on SMS Plus.

This is the lite version of Nostalgia.GG. It is ad-supported and some features (manual progress saving/loading and game rewinding) are enabled only when ads are displayed (ie. when you are connected to the internet). We do not want to disturb you during gameplay - no ads will be displayed when a game is running.

Would of give this 5 stars but it got let down on a rom that is playable I try redownloading this rom and still no good Mickey mouse & castle of illusion does not work

Still not 100% compatible with all roms but overall a very well made emulator.

Sound now seems to function correctly with music present in all games, and it sounds "nornal".

The gaming is great. Reality shows good health. Manner is humour sense. Ability to withstand pain such heroic in each of the Mario Luigi to Big Bad Bowser of Wario instability.

Perfect emulator, works great. The only game that doesn't seem to work is Spider-Man Return of The Sinister Six. Also can you change the A and B buttons to 1 and 2 like the original Game Gear?

Update has broken the app. Was working fine this morning, now all games are missing when opening the app and none of the interface works. Tried reinstalling and still not working.

Excellent emulator but it still won't run chase hq correctly. All the graphics and colours are screwed up. It's the only game I have any problems with.

Very good. On screen controls are less then ideal. Emulator would be way better with a bit tighter controls. Other then that, emulation itself is perfect.

Can't select region. Tails Adventure game relies on the region setting for language. It's all Japanese when I use this emulator. I even use the same rom on the Kega Fusion on my pc and I got the English language. Region setting needs to be added.

Great app allowing me to relive all the classic Game Gear games I played as a kid. For some reason I can't customise the layout of the screen when the phone is in landscape mode.

Great when it works, but not every game does. Earthworm Jim, for example, freezes after the load screen. It works fine on other emulators so it's not a problem with the game itself. Good features and quality emulation otherwise.

An emulator so good it's just the third one I've decided to pay for when the free option is just as good. The "Nostalgia" people have great emulators, they do great 8-bit especially and I'll gladly pay to help em out.

Fails to load game if u tab out of it for a sec even tho ur were playing a second ago/makes it hard to follow strategy guides if called for it. Refuses to keep the roms loaded if u close out and stay off for awhile making you to always reload them and give the app permission to access the folder. It's annoying and not even worth the 1.30 the only difference between this and the free version is the stupid ads...This is just being lazy with features that should be included day 1.

Has nice features, however the actual emulation is hit or miss. Some games that I tried would freeze up, while multi-language roms would display Japanese text, and there is no option in the emulator settings to select the bios region in order to get the games to show English instead. Also no SMS support so far as I know, which seems like it should have been an obvious inclusion, especially since many games have a better SMS version due simply to the higher resolution.

Oof, I love the Nostalgia emulators, but this one has so many bugs that it's unplayable. First and foremost, it's loading up all the games in pink/blue backgrounds and solid black sprites. it's not auto updating the ROMs list when I add a new rom and lastly, though a lacking feature and not a bug: Please support zipped roms.
