Great emulator! All the games ran great and I never had to save because I always start right where I left off. Though, I have a couple problems. You can't use a link cable so you can't trade or play with your friends or yourself. This was the reason I moved to Myboy. And also, the nostalgia factor. The buttons and the menu style takes away some of the nostalgia. I know not many other emulators use this but nostalgia is in this app's name.

Emulation and picture quality are very good. Unfortunately I have to dock points for it randomly forgetting what roms I've loaded on to it. Will update to 5 stars when fixed EDIT: The problem has become MORE frequent to the point where I can't use save states because it's forgetting the roms mid game now. Docked from 3 stars to 2 for making the issue worse. Going down to 1 star if not fixed soon

This is a great GBA emulator. I love it. but,everytime I re-open the app, all of my roms suddenly get deleted. Not only that but the controller adjustment is broken too. Everytime I try to adjust my touch screen buttons, the app doesn't save the adjustments and just stays back to their original layout. Please fix this cause this is an awesome emulator and I don't want it to go to waste. Thanks.

I always liked this app as it was easy to use and it has a lot of Qol features but now since a few days it's constantly deleting any game I put in there and that made me lose tens of hours of save files as even tho in the games folder the save file is there it won't read it and I have to start everything anew. That's why I'm changing my review from five to 2 stars. I'll gladly will put back at 5 stars when this problem is resolved.

Good GBA emulator, but good luck transferring your save elsewhere. First of all, this app creates a folder in a place that is difficult to find. When you do find it, the .SAV file won't be compatible with other emulators (JohnGBA, MyBoy, VBA on PC, etc.). You will also not be able to load this .SAV into a program like pkHex. It's good for what it is, but I wish it was more friendly with the rest of the emulation/modding landscape. I'm happy to change my review to 5 stars if their team can help

Probably my favorite app, thankful I got the chance to emulate, but please tell me why after updating the app all of my damn roms and saved files are deleted???! Like seriously I have to do it all over again. Edit my saved files weren't deleted I jumped to conclusions. The roms did disappear but i got a folder for that. Great app my favorite app ever can't believe this is free.

I just use it for Pokémon Randomizers. And for that, it does a good job. Easily recognizes ROMs, has no lag/delays... The only thing I don't like is not having a physical controller to ignore the touch controls with; even with this app's customizeable layout, a virtual D-Pad can never match the real thing. All in all, a great app.

Really great app, was working well up until I accidentally turned it to the side, then turned it up. now, all of the controls are smushed into the middle of the screen. It's almost unplayable. Other than that, the D-Pad has a big dead zone in the middle and feels pretty crappy to use. Orherwise extremely solid app with great interface and no questionable stuff you see in other emulators.

Note: I was using a gamepad, so my opinion may be a little diffeent than yours. This is a really good emulator for being free. It does the job, and does it well. My only issues were that the L and R buttons weren't automatically bound, and when you enter a game, you can't switch when your done with the game, you have to restart the app.

Definitely the best gba emulator I have used! The emulation is not laggy and I love that there are 8 save states and that you can save the actual game. Though one thing that kind of brings it down is that some rom hacks don't work. Alot of them work just not all. And it says it contains ads but they don't effect gameplay and are only in the menu. An amazing emulator

Good app, emulates pretty well, but the layout customization doesn't save when in landscape mode. Well, it does, but it doesn't apply them. It works perfectly fine in portrait mode, but it doesn't in landscape. Not sure why. Would be an easy 4 stars if it worked properly.

Emulation runs well, one of the best free emulators on the market. The first time I played it gave me a full screen way to play, after that it brings up the home buttons of my phone at the side of my screen and it moved the game buttons ever so slightly to accommodate the space for it on the screen. However, the buttons only moved visually, I still have to touch the area where the button used to be. This bug makes playing the game annoying and infuriating. Using a Samsung s20 plus.

Overall the app works. It has been able to read all roms I give it and display them without problems. I give it 4 stars because the rewind feature only permits going back 10 seconds, which kinda sucks in heat-of-the-moment battles. It's also 4 stars because sometimes when switching between portrait and landscape mode, the hitboxes for the buttons dissappear, and the only way to fix it Is to close out of the app and relaunch it. Otherwise, a decent emulator

Almost too perfect. Buy the full version. The app basically does everything you could possibly want it to do: rewind, fast-forward, save-states, customized button size/layout, etc. But the only problem is; after spending, what was probably way too much time playing, (because the app is so good) I started to notice that the buttons were burning into my phone's screen! The free version doesn't allow you to change the opacity of the buttons, so either buy the full version, or take frequent breaks!

Okay, so listen up folks. I have used hundreds of emulators over the years, on PC and Android. As far as Gameboy Advanced Emulators go, this is HANDS DOWN the best. The free version has no ads. You can save on free version at any time. The layout is fantastic. It runs extremely smooth and the buttons have perfect sensitivity. You can import hacks for your games as well. Also my phone died mid play and pulled my game back up thinking I was losing hours of play to find it pulled it up where I was!

Great app, honestly the main reason why I use my phone, I love it. But something weird happened, I opened the app and all my roms were gone, I've never experienced something like that but the app updated two days ago maybe something changed. I had to search for all the roms again which was slightly annoying. And I've always had trouble with controllers, maybe it's just my low powered phone I use a Xbox one controller and sometimes it just blinks and doesn't register for a few seconds.

Sadly after the recent update, the app has shown itself to be dysfunctional. Not because it doesn't work incredibly, but because it removed all my roms (and seemingly, their save files) without notice or warning. Additionally, they now refuse to read them at all, proving tedious. With this update, this is just a very annoying to use emulator for the long term, and you'd be much better off with MyBoy, which at least allows you to extract saves. Was a very nice emulator at one point.
