Coaching has been all computer generated. I've been working this daily for over two weeks and have not heard from a 'real' coach, and I have asked questions in support - no response. It crashes - phone or app? Not sure, but everything else works on my phone. Good concept, not fully executed as promised. Update - app keeps crapping out. And it changed my settings. It changed my start weight and my target weight and won't let me reset them. Very frustrating. Seems to have a lot of bugs. Sorry I

Been on Noom a month & really enjoy the lessons, exercise videos & daily weigh ins. The food logging needs some work though. Too many entries of same food item with various calories listed. We cook everything at home, so having the option to save recipes would be wonderful! Having to log each ingredient every single time we make a meal is a bit frustrating. Step counter doesn't work well, but I manually adjust that to put in the correct steps.

I opted out of a couple courses that I didn't want. They were 'included for free' during my trial period. I got an email that my trial was almost up in case I wanted to cancel before being charged the full amount of what I had selected. I chose to keep going and let the payment happen. The email didn't mention the added courses and even stated the amount that I would be charged. I was charged twice. Once for the amount I expected, and then for renewing the courses I didn't want. Not cool.

Keeps crashing. Was always able to fix by restarting phone. Now, I can't get anything. I did force stop, clear cache, updated in Play Store. Now, it won't open past the icon in upper left corner. Apparently, this is an issue with many other members as well. When able to use app, it's an excellent resource and guide. Many useful tips. And, great support from other members and coaches. Dealing with this issue with the app itself doesn't quite help with the stress if weight loss

It's okay so far. The app is pretty bad on android. A few times a week, I have to go to settings force stop and clear the cache for it to open. It's been 2 weeks, and I haven't lost any weight. I do find it motivational and will try it for the next 2.5 months. I think the calorie range is off for weight loss, so be mindful of your target calories.

Much more of a one-size-fits all program than you might be led to believe. My weight loss goal is just a few pounds, I am more interested in learning healthier eating habits, so maybe I just looked in the wrong place. My trial period and not sure there is enough value with the program for me to pay. I appreciate the generous trial period, however. Also, this is the slowest app I have on my phone (Samsung Galaxy/ Android). It takes about a full minute to load. Food database is a hot mess.

Guys I love this app but can you kindly fix it. If I close it, I have to uinstall twice and install again to open. Otherwise, I absolutely love this program. It is exactly what I needed to show and help me to learn how to eat healthy, lose weight, stay healthy and become more knowledgeable of my bad eating habits and replacing them with good ones. The behavior modification is a gem. Didn't realize that was all I really needed, after being on every weight loss program in the world. 😁

I used Noom for a while several years ago and it was free. I'm primarily interested in tracking calories, and the color coding on food choices so I downloaded again. After going through the overly long (for what I want it for) introductory questions, I find that not only is it no longer free, but there's not even a free trial option. Worse, the monthly rates are obscene for the few features I actually want. I'll be ininstalling.

1 month in and a few pounds lost! I find that the lessons along with the weigh ins and food tracking are really keeping me focused on thinking about my choices to reach my goal. I also like that I get a calorie range to stay within. It seems to help me accommodate those occasional slip ups. I didn't like the initial setup and costing bait and switch. "Free Trial" than later ask you to pay for it; getting a better price if you commit now rather than doing the free trial etc.

Have not been able to update starting and goal weight. Have been very patient, submitted tickets, provided screen captures and recordings. Did all the troubleshooting suggested. There have been at least 2 updates since I paid nearly $200 for my program (about a month ago) and nothing fixed the issue. I'm resorting to leaving a poor review so others don't have to have the same unfortunate experience. This feels like a gimmick to prevent honoring the guarantee of weight loss success.

Update: It was an easy fix; I just had to delete my noom data and cache and then log back in. It is working great again now. Noom has helped me lose 40 pounds in the last 4 months. I am very happy with it so far. Great app until it stopped opening. I have had this so for 4 months with no problems, but last night and today it will not open. It is worthless if I can't use it.

Tracking is cumbersome, and not being able to create or alter recipes is a HUGE problem for me. I cook 90% of my meals and meal prep multiple servings at a time, so only getting a calorie count without color coding completely defeats the purpose of paying for this app. Lessons appear ABOVE the tracking sections so you have to scroll way down just to add foods and water. That should be pinned to the top. Of the multiple apps I've tried, this is by far the worst. I like the lessons though.

I haven't had any problems with the app. And the lessons are great. I really wish I could substitute things in recipes. Teach you how to substitute veggies and whole grains but I can't change a recipe to substitute something. I also cook for myself which means it takes me 3 to 4 minutes to actually input everything and to measure everything out. That side of it is really sucks and is the entire reason for the deduction of stars. Also have lost 10 lb and then stopped losing. It's been 5 months.

So far so good but again, glitchy. If you want the app to count steps, fine. And if you want to log your exercise, fine. But you can't do both. It double counts steps if you log a walk and adjusts your calorie needs based on double the information (does that make sense?) I was told the fix was to literally change it so it doesn't count steps if I want to log my walk as a fitness goal. But that's dumb. Seems pretty basic. Not sure how it's overlooked.

Orig review 1 star-App worked great until it didn't. Two months into it and the app stops working. I messaged the support email and have been in contact with them for 2 days with no resolution for my app. I enjoyed the program and would have given 4 stars. (Minus 1 for not being able to log onto group support). It is absolutely devastating to be so invested in a program and to then abruptly lose it. Edit- After three days of troubleshooting, my app is fixed. Thank you noom customer support.

I'm really starting to like noom. I like the green, yellow, and orange options. Also, the exercises, and on top of that, I appreciate the motivation and the reading portion. The weight loss is not speedy, but it feels promising, and you build good habits all along. My bit of concern is that scanning part, which should be enabled to make things easier.

Program worked great at first but will renew without warning. They will charge your credit card again without telling you. Customer service wouldn't fix it or escalate it to someone who could fix the problem. They will take you money and refuse to give you a refund. Worst customer service experience ever! Update - they asked me to email them, at an address that doesn't exist. Email bounced.....unbelievable way to treat people....completely unacceptable!

This is my fourth time using the app. I've come back because I've made a lot of changes on my own and need help with diet and calorie counting. I figured I'm familiar and I trust them. WELL, THINGS HAVE CHANGED. They are now engaged in the desperate upsell of add ons like every other program out there. They confuse you into thinking some of these things are just new features but actually you are agreeing to pay for every little thing! They won't refund 100% due to policy. Deceitful and sad!!

This app needs some serious upgrades to its interface. The fact that you cannot manually type in the amount of calories & have to scroll to pick? You cannot log just one item from a previous meal, you have to log the whole meal & delete items. I noticed countless incorrect calories counts on scanned items. Just a whole lot of missing basic features. I don't think the step count is accurate but there's no obvious way to delete the steps so that it doesn't count towards your calorie burning.

However, there are some major UX issues, number 1 being the app failing to load and getting stuck on a loading screen. I contacted support, and their automated reply told me to reinstall, so I did. It still happens; I contact my coach, and they repeat the same thing. It seems like they're aware, but their engineering team isn't capable of resolving. It's been months. Number 2 issue is horrific UX with logging meals, it's extremely painful to try to add different servings and multiple items.
