Nipto: Split Household Chores

First week in and have been enjoying it so far. I wish it had a web feature so I can have it on a laptop or otherwise connected to a monitor. I'm a visual person and when my phone is in my pocket the chores list doesn't exist. But if it's on a monitor or TV I can't walk past it without seeing it. Also having a seperate scale of today's points would be better than only seeing the weeks progress. Seeing the week's total makes it harder to stay engaged on Friday when I have a bunch of points.

This app has been awesome for getting my kids motivated!! My oldest has been trying to outdo himself every week, and even my three year old loves to do her chores and get points! One thing I would change is making it easier to give partial credit if a kid only does half the job, or 3/4 of it. I have figured out work arounds, but the app is working slower since the update and the workarounds, and even the usage if the app, has become more difficult.

Honestly, much better than any other chore app out there. Many if not all of the features are free, no ads, it's super cute and visually appealing. Gives you tons of options for scheduling tasks and reminders, assigning tasks and, of course, friendly competition never hurt anyone! Would recommend. I would love to see a widget for this app though (am I the only one that loves widgets still?)

This has helped me actually want to do chores. The competition between family members, and even a prize at the end if you choose, has just helped me so much. I've been doing more chores just so I can get in the lead. I like that you can make your own chores too and how many points, so it's very customizable. Would highly recommend!

I love the idea of this app!! We are just a couple weeks in and our family is starting to work better together with chores. I love that it is cheap one time price!! Someone really wants to help people, WAY TO GO!! It could use some tweaking, especially with validating tasks. The interface is kind of confusing. Specifically, with forgotten validations from past days. It's hard to apply something to the correct day once it is past.

At first, I purchased premium, but none of the premium features were enabled. I tried to purchase premium again, thinking there was an issue on my end, but got a message that I already own this item and to contact support. I contacted support, and they quickly fixed the issue, enabling the premium features right away. Very happy with their customer service!!!

My family and I have been using Nipto for one week. I love the concept, but unfortunately the app is very slow. When I check off a task, it freezes for 5-20 seconds (depending on the device I'm using) before I can check off the next task. Also, tasks will randomly disappear from people's task lists and the dates that I set for repeating tasks will randomly change. I don't know that we can rely on this app to help us keep track of our chores very well with these issues.

Love the app so far a little tricky to navigate at first but pretty smooth afterward I do wish the monthly rotation would be by weekdays instead of numbers. If you want to perfect the app add the option to choose who starts the rotation first and a monthly calendar visual to avoid scrolling 4x when you add a monthly chore. All in all props!

Great app! Could improve the "current week" view by displaying tasks contributed by multiple people similarly to the "schedule -> list" view, avoiding duplicate tasks flooding the current week list. It's easy to accidentally mark a task done twice. Not sure about a workaround for this but it would be helpful. Considerations for roommates would be nice, maybe just a setting where everyone is held accountable not just the "kids".

Needs a widget! I picked this chore app for my kids because I couldn't get them to follow a chore schedule and actually do them. So I tried the points kind, but they were a pain to set up, the kind where do all these this week and get an allowance but then if they missed one they'd just give up since they wouldn't get allowance. Finally I landed on a competition: whoever does the most wins. We'll see if it works! If it does I'll spring for premium. I like that it's one time fee.

I love the app! I get tired of reminding my kids what their chores are every day, and they are teenagers. So helpful! A few things that I would love to be able to do in the app. *I would love to create a one-time task to assign to someone without making it part of my complete task list. (Example - organize pantry or run a specific errand) *It also would be nice to let the Admin award bonus points at any time and be able to add a note saying what it is for.

No warning for the pay wall block- all of a sudden, immediately after giving this app 5 stars, now I can't schedule any more tasks without buying premium. And $10?? If it was a one- time payment that would be one thing, but it seems like everyone in my group would have to pay. I love this app, its been really helpful, but it would have been nice if the restrictions for free use and details of purchasing premium were more transparent.

Just installed, and when trying to schedule chores, it noticed that instant of splitting the chores evenly, it dumps all task under one scheduled task in one person. So you cant group them together without dumping them on one person. I tried breaking it up into 2 task, it the app still selected one person for majority of the taks. This does not help when you're trying to find an app to split chores evenly.

This is the best software I have found for splitting up chores between family members and scheduling them in advance so that everything is crystal clear. I am a working mom with teens and I can't always be there to keep an eye on what is getting done at home. This app has made a huge improvement in how I run my household. The only feature I feel is missing that would improve this app is a weekly/monthly calendar view.

Updated to a 5 star for a very quick and efficient response and fix to my issue! Thanks!! I was super excited about this app, even purchased the premium version. Was in the process of scheduling all my tasks when it foze and now my app won't toggle between different windows. I can't finish setting g it up, much less use it at all. Please help or refund.

I really tried to like this app... It did not work for a family. It's more for workers. It lacked the ability to assign tasks to a specific person... there was no way to turn off the points system... and despite the fun colors and symbols, I had no clue what they meant. I did like the ability to verify and approve that the task was completed by my kiddos... but that was about it.

My daughter and I have enjoyed this app for a few years now, and all of a sudden, it doesn't work properly. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, and it still doesn't load our points or any date information. I do hope this isn't a permanent issue, and it can be fixed because we absolutely love this app. I have sent an email, and I'm waiting to hear back. I highly suggest downloading this app to anyone who will listen. 🖤
