Game is a fun movement shooter with basic basebuilding and tower defense elements. Ads are not overwhelming and free gear pops up often enough that I was only really inclined to make a purchases to show my appreciation for a good experience. Build a castle and as long as it survives you are in the game you can put up houses and defenses in predetermined locations and upgrade them in a few ways you can choose. I wish there was a bit more flexibility in where you could place economy buildings.

Not-Kingdom Rush, even the name is similar. Gameplay is fun, but already boring. Level scaling is bad. Wanted to quit at level 4. I bought the ad removal pack and now it's "better," but not really, later levels = 20% more to kill for 5% more loot. No option to sweep previous lvl It's like Diablo, gameplay is determined by luck rolls, now there isn't much strategy for me. I created a build that works and just use it on every level. Audio issues, plays coin and menu sounds while turned off.

Gameplay, style, name, and content were all lifted from indie title "Thronefall" on PC. It's mostly not a problem on it's own, but the gameplay is way more shallow somehow, and mostly tuned to making the micro transactions appealing. Honestly disappointed because Thronefall sucks you in, but Nightfall just feels like a chore. Only worth if you have nothing else to do.

In an era where 99% of mobile games are a copy-paste of the same 5 games, this is a breath of fresh air. A cool new take on a TD style game. Well animated, good music, perfectly paced progression, no mandatory ads, borderline unlimited optional ad rewards, fairly reasonable pricing if you choose to spend money, variety of enemy types, maps, and playstyles. An all around awesome experience and with a level of originality for mobile that I thought was completely lost by now. Very very well done.

I am incredibly close to rating this 5 stars. Right now the game is quite buggy, with weekly quests being frozen, energy not saving, and a lot of purchases avalible up front. The latter though isn't too much of an issue as the game seems quite playable ftp with money just speeding up resource gathering, not being a requirement to beat levels at all. So once some more bugs are fixed I'll update my review.

Game has too many balance problems to ignore. First season was normally too easy but still really enjoyable. However, the new update season for adventure is a giant f you to anyone who didn't no life the game during the first season. Massive over correct on difficulty that would be fine for progression levels since there's still hard and nightmare for previous ones to do first. It completely ruins the adventure mode for any non-hardcore players with impossible levels without massive stats.

Cute tactical battle strategy game that is easy to learn. That said the main gripe I have with this game is that it's a solo adventure; something I personally won't invest any real currency into as there's very little relatively in doing so. Secondly, the battles, without the speed increase you would be charged for are INCREDIBLY SLOW! I'm talking 15m+ a full playthrough, and if you need to do something and leave the game, you start from the beginning. Not worth the time investment.

This is the mobile version of Thronefall on Steam and I just don't think it works on mobile. You very quickly outpace the difficulty of the maps and it just becomes repetitive with no strategy or fear of loss. I think they need to make nightmare a mode where you can't even beat it until you finish the whole world and go back to enjoy it again. I really think Nightfall did a good job with the reskin. One less star though for the price of micro transactions. This game is essentially priced at $60.

I am not sure where people are giving this such a huge rating. As far as TDs go, it's a decent one. I would definitely play this more if there weren't glaring issues. As for the issues, not enough income when you finish a round. You find yourself stretched thin on resources all the time. I understand if this is supposed to add some realism, but it's unnecessary. I would rather fight against harder enemies rather then being stretched across my defenses. More income per round should be the focus.

I was excited based on other reviews and purchased the ad free option for $10. Pros: art quality/style, decent hero play style options due to equipment. Cons: research "tree" is absolutely rigid, no choice possible at all. Repetitive leveling up of castle/farms, same sequence every map. Towers are pretty weak. Armies better, but they're mostly delaying tactics for your hero's cool down which does 80%+ of the real damage. Tower and resource generator placement are often nonsensical.

I like this game it's a great time killer, however it stutters and lags on my phone. I have a Motorola One 5G, I don't know if it's my phone or this game. I haven't had this problem with any other game. It also crashes and closes randomly while I'm playing which is really annoying because the game doesn't save or recognize your in the middle of a level, so you have to restart the level. If these problems are fixable PLEASE do something about it, thank you

I'm going to give my feedback first before my compliments. One thing I think the game could really benefit from is a tab where you can view heros, mounts, equipment, etc that you don't have yet. That way you know what you've collected and can see the possibilities. It's really hard that there is no way to view the heroes. It's a really good game. Easy mechanics, options for multiple items without paying. Creative maps and an system. I do really like it.

Each level you fight about 10 waves of enemies. You will either breeze through every wave of level after level, or be stuck on the final wave of a single level for weeks. The gambling aspect of this game is also atrocious, and it also has numerous "click here to win this prize" buttons, and 90% of the time the prize is worthless. I also hate you don't have a strategy for placing your buildings, and it always puts your farms closest to the enemies when that makes no sense. I could go on.

Gameplay is a recreation of thronefall. Fun and works well. However certain features are missing, boss battles, the enemies scale up and the game does not tell you how much they are scaled on a level per level. So in one mission you can one shot the basic goblin and the next you can't, even when fully upgraded castle. Recent update caused a really big issue: new enemies. Some of them like the drummer work well and are balanced. Others like the crossbow siege engine are busted.

1☆ Review until you make rally points STAY between waves. Know what's not fun (and wasn't fun in the game you are BLATANTLY ripping off)? Running around every wave to set the SAME rally points for troops!!! They. Keep. Resetting. And. Like. This. Review. It's. Annoying. Change it, please and thanks. Adventure mode make this issue 10x worse because the rally doesn't need to change.

Battle pass is deceptive. It says purchase to get premium slot plus consumables but nothing about the slot being temporary. I would never have purchased if i knew. Game is good, but ads are obnoxiously long. Some over 1 minute and all require multiple clicks. You don't have to watch ads but it's built into every aspect of the game, so progression will be very slow without them

This game is awesome! Best mobile game ever. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars (and the dev can earn it) is one simple fix listed below. The max level on most cards is level 20, but even after a card is maxed out, you can still draw it. This should be fixed, either with a refund, partial refund, inability to draw a maxed out card, or removing the level limits. Huge fan of your work! Keep your fans in mind!

$2,200 possible in-game purchases. The game is fun and you shouldn't see any forced ads (only every possible opportunity to view ads for rewards). You can progress far without paying but everywhere you turn, there is opportunity to purchase something. I can't play this game without those items in the back of my mind and thinking of the poor soul that decides to spend money on in-app purchases. Like I said before, I calculated roughly $2,200 in possible in-app purchases. Seems a bit excessive.

The game is fun and a great time sink, but there are a lot of things it lacks. The biggest and most jarring thing to me is that the no-ads pack is $29.99, I couldn't even begin to justify that cost, I thought maybe it'd go on sale. I do think the game needs more work, but I'd still play it as is. Progression does become more & more difficult at higher levels, and you will eventually be gated by equipment. Just make sure to keep up completing the Hard & Nightmare modes, and that should help.

The gameplay itself is fun, and intriguing for most unique experience. My only issues is is I like watching the ads for the extra rewards. unfortunately there's no way to mute it, you cannot be on the phone call while watching ads, you cannot be listening to anything while watching ads. And there is no button to mute it on the ad itself, on every single ad. unfortunately that just doesn't work for me so if that changes I might consider re-downloading. otherwise I would stay away
