This is an incredibly well made game, and I'm surprised its free to play. There is a lot more content you can unlock by paying (very much worth it) but the amount of content they let you play for free without ads is incredible. The storyline is interesting, thr gameplay is smooth and graphics are great. The rogue-like system gives it a lot of replay value, and the variety in cards and perks makes each run through a little different. Definitely one of the best games out here, very well done.

I absolutely love this game. When you first play the first character (the knight) is free to use and okay through as many times as you'd like. I did buy every character for this game. And I've yet to be bored of it and I've done a run through of every character at least once if not more. It's hours and hours of constant play even for a game you intentionally need to play multiple times over. And I enjoy the challenge to unlock all the achievements in the game as well. Would consider to anyone who wants a fun game you can spend hours on and enjoy a simple yet strategic card game with great art style.

this game is great!! I was actually going to buy all the dlc in the bundle you guys sell but as soon as I tried the game stopped working for me entirely. Like it said the purchase failed and then the game was stuck in a black screen and u reinstalled it after a while and it's still broken!! It's saying I need to sign in but it's not letting me do anything, and for some reason there's this little hand sprite on the pocket watch but I click on it and it does nothing!!!

Like others who paid, I do not like the addition of ads. People who bought the full version shouldn't need to have immersion ruined or get bonuses for watching an ad. Card effects are not always clear (looking at you sticky) and story can be muddled from poor English translation. Despite all of the above it's a really good game. It just needs a bit of polish. Remove the ads for premium customers but leave the bonuses and get a good translator. Keep the ads in the free version where they belong before you lose your premium fans.

Really fun deck builder :-) One suggestion: the special abilities the cursed werewolf gets at the end of the final difficulty level should be randomized on every attempt instead of being the same every time you try him in the same playthrough. I got stuck with him getting the "resurrect with 30% health" ability, and my deck just cannot beat him. Having them random every time would give you a better chance of not having to start all over - starting over is very frustrating!

Sensational game. Excellent replayability. Great art and sound, and lots of ways to craft a deck, with tons a variability between classes. I'd go 5 stars, but the game periodically hangs and requires a restart. [Fixed!] Yes!! I love it. Price tag is a bit high for full unlock, but pennies per hour in the long run. This game is amazing. Translation needed on the text, especially newer text. Some cards very difficult to read full text.

One of the only reason this game is not getting 5 stars is due to frequent spelling errors. Other than that, this game is rather enjoyable and hard to put down. Sometimes, the enemy cards go by too fast, or the combos I count on go buggy or are unclear, but the system is relatively forgiving, and it's no reason not to play at least the free parts. If I had the money to spare, I would be unlocking all of Riding Hood's classes and playing through them, let me tell you.

Favorite game on the phone. I've been playing it for about a week now whenever I get bored and it makes time fly.for the people complaining it's too hard/you need more healing options, you get plenty of healing, using it correctly is up to you. And for the difficulty, if you build your decks correctly you can be so ridiculously overpowered to the point that you'll take no damage from end game bosses and kill them in 2-3 turns. There's definitely a learning curve, but the game is very well made and a great time killer.

I rarely play mobile games. I do not like the tiny screens, and not having a physical controller to move around and function with (yes, I know I can use one for mobile, but it goes back to my first point). I was stuck at the Dr office, waiting for what seemed like an eternity. I decided I'll try to play a game on here. That was yesterday, and I've probably logged like 15 hours of playtime already. The game loop is very addicting. It's fun learning the best ways to combine the cards' abilities

The learning curve for each deck makes me wish there was some sort of easily accessed guide on a simple strategy for each deck type. It's also a little disappointing that there are no premium currency rewards. So if I want to expand I have to pay. Maybe a premium candy once in a while as thanks for playing your game will encourage me to buy the expacs and keep playing. Otherwise you're capped on your experiences and will uninstall shortly therafter.

It's a really good game. I bought some of the DLCs. Although I think adding some cards a bit more often would increase the likelihood of others buying them as well. Right now I want to buy the DLCs for the other games modes but I feel like after I buy them and finish them there is not a way to keep progressing. Maybe making the dungeons a bit longer. Add a way to maybe set more stages. But overall I'm loving everything about it.

I've been playing this game on and off for the past 4 years, so I'd like to update my review. There are so many different play styles and difficulty levels, making this game have a high level of replayability. You do have to pay to unlock more things but it's definitely worth it. You have to really pay attention and understand the mechanica of the class you play to win.

Love this game but there is definitely a glitch 3nemy where they automatically get like 50 piercing damage automatically and it's not possible to stop all of it with certain builds. So aggravating. Such a good build going and yet I can't best this one ebony because my deck is primarily focused on counters and rendering enemy cards useless. Kind of bad when the enemy can hit your life points directly.

Best mobile game ever 👌 for me of course 😁 So many strategies and who doesn't love deck cards 😏 The game is rewarding and very unforgiving if you want to be challenged 😁 The game definitely needs improvement based on user feedback. More "defined" classes because it seems to boil down to either you use mana with this build or action points. Each class should feel separate and unique and powerful! More unique modes to the game. Overall awesome game.

Great game. Very expensive expansions. I've been playing this gane since its release and I love it. I even bought 2 expansion packages as they were released. It is a very fun, well thought out game that has gotten better over time. My main issue is the cost. I bought expansion chapters when they were $2 ea. Now they are $10 each and there are so many that there is no way I could afford them all. I really wish there was a way to earn the upgrade candy in game with how many hours I've spent on it

I had fun with this have and enjoy it, but the translations have gotten worse where you have to guess a cards effect and use trial and error to figure out game basics. The fact that the dlc costs over $80 if you want it all seems too much of a price grab after the updates and new connect came out. If prices were more reasonable I'd be interested in checking them out.

Edited after 4 or so years. My original review/complaints still apply but in addition the translations have gone way downhill for some reason. It also seems to drain battery more too. Original: Very fun. Could be better. The amount of cards make trying new strategies fun, and keeps the restarting fresh. However, the Hard mode doesn't have a lot of features of its own, this isn't good when Normal has reputation and courage, and dialogue and decision making. I think more talents would be cool too.

This used to be a good game. Since the most recent update it is completely unplayable. The graphics will not load correctly and it freezes and stops all the time. This was easily one of the best games I've ever played. Please fix these issues. Edit: Got a new phone and able to play again. The updates are great and give a lot of depth to game play. The difficulty settings are perfect for either a beginner or someone looking for a real challenge. Excellent game keep up the great work!

Played the game for a few years, purchased some dlc content. Has multiple play styles and so I haven't gotten tired of anything...but force directing users through FB and then giving me an error because game data is 'too old' is getting repetitive. Half the time I just close the game because why play if I'm forced to restart every time I open the app?

Update from my original review of five stars. The latest update has made the game entirely unplayable with a hard crash roughly thirty seconds after launching. I've cleared cache, data, and even reinstalled and restarted my phone to no avail. Otherwise a fantastic game. Played for about a year before purchasing the ad-free experience and eventually DLC. A great array of game modes, classes/characters, and viable builds for all difficulties.
