Extremely bad. Have spent most of the day trying to log in. Requesting and not receiving text code. Tried from different devices. Have used it OK in the past so not sure what's changed? Update- a day later and messages now coming through so have upgraded to 3 stars as the app needs to be stable.

STILL NO RESOLUTION..JUST A MILLION AUTOMATED MESSAGES. DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS APP. NO HELP AVAILABLE WHATSOEVER. Unbelievably awful. The app just stopped working after using it for ages. I rely on it as a cancer patient. Despite contacting them on numerous occasions I still haven't even had a real person contact me ..just automated messages asking if my case has been resolved...I answer and another automated message conesxalong saying they will look into it. The next day the same again.

Its a good idea but the UI is terrible. Services arent well laid out and worst of all (service issue rather than the app) half the time you find what you need just to find its suspended. You should be able to easily log on and view your medical records, order repeat prescriptions and maybe most important, book a GP appointment if needed with a time or day slot. Needs some joined up thinking but could be really valuable if modernised and joined up with other NHS services

I find the app very useful. Being able to order repeat prescriptions and check on forthcoming appointments is what I want it to do, and it works well. There are things it won't let me do such as book doctor's appointments, but that is limited by the surgery and not by the app.

Useful in many ways. However It is not always easy to find the right menu. Also I don't seem to be receiving notifications about hospital appointments, or receiving booking codes, which apparently I should be. Or messages from the surgery.

For reasons unknown, I can no longer log in! No notifications were ever sent to, no emails, no text - nothing. I had to find out there was a problem by logging in. It just tells me to go to the website or... what for it... the app! Yes, it tells me to go to the very thing I am on! Ah, the wonders of technology! Bring back the good old days when GP's weren't controlled by pharmaceuticals, knew all their local patients and still did home visits.

I've been using the NHS app for sometime without any issues & it has always done what is required. Updated to the latest version this week & it no longer works. Every time I try to log in I get an error saying 'We could not connect you to the NHS app'. Reinstalled the app but still the same.

Never could book appointments, now sending messages to my GP has been disabled too and the ordering and viewing of repeat prescriptions is a mess. So what is the point of this app? Edit: NHS Digital, thank you for your reply. The point I was trying to make is that if your GP removes access to functions of the app it renders it virtually useless. It's like having a corded drill with no where to plug it in.

Very nice concept. The major flaw, however, is how ridiculously slow it is: in getting verified, or in getting any response at all - including on your prescription. The process and experience is so horribly slow that it ultimately defeats the entire point of this app and it's health benefits. Not happy or satisfied with the service on it at all.

I don't know how others could feel but I am fed up with this application. Majority of the time when I want go to the previous page the application just pushing me to the start page asking me to login AGAIN! How is mad that?? UI not good either now.07/05/24 Problem persists. Moreover I can't upload the photo - app just did the same as before. Pushing me to the start page, and I can't attach the photo for doctor to examine my problem. Very bad experience.

It was working well and I had full access before an update. It then would not let me past a page saying it needed to verify me rendering the app completely useless. Even more so when I completed the login details and it said it hadn't to verify me but would be a delay as a large amount having to be done. No wonder if everyone is having to reregister! Now I can't order an urgent prescription. Very poor indeed. The existing details should have been carried over to the new update. Still unusable!!

It's *almost* great, it's good to be able to order repeat scripts and see when they've been approved and sent, although it would only be logical to receive some sort of notification at these, for most, quite important moments. I also can't figure out why the backend at pharmacy can't notify when it's ready for collection. Of course, Matthew Gould went on record saying that it's good as it is, it's now up to others to develop on top of it. Wrong, NHSX should always be striving to improve.

I have tried for the last 3 weeks to contact the support team with no joy. I have received over 30 emails to say it is being dealt with, but I still wait. I am able to enter my email, and then it says oops something went wrong, and I can get no further. Never had a problem before, It has always till now been brilliant.

App OK. Could really use the function to be able to add appointments to your personal calendar in the same way that the 'patient access' app allows. ---- Updated: thank you for your response. I HAVE suggested how to improve the app in my review. I have also emailed it to you... Update 2 -good to see calendar integration being considered. May help reduce missed appointments.

Have relied on this for repeat prescriptions for a couple of years, but it recently stopped sending text messages so I could not order. Also the same problem on my PC. Now fixed, at least on android. Thank you!

The idea is great. Having exam results at your fingertips. 2 problems: 1) it keeps sending me notifications and SMS to read letters that are old. Every 3 days I get a new notification for messages that aren't new. 2) in the exam result section you should be careful not to use words such "indicative of cancer". An app is not the ideal way to communicate these things.

This is a good app but for weeks now after entering my email address all I get is a message saying "something went wrong, go to the app or website". So I can't track what's happening as I wait for an operation. I have contacted the administrator and despite being told there would be a response in 48 hours but 3 weeks later I'm still waiting. Also the response to my original post shows that they didn't read it! The problem is not with registration, I've been using the app for years.

Buggy and unusable registration. App requires access to a domain known for sketchy analytics to even be able to connect, so DNS blocker needs disabling. Once in the app the functionality to take video doesn't work so you will need to get in touch with your GP to get linkage key, ods code and account ID instead. Oh and the fingerprint/iris unlock functionality doesn't work for 2/5 people I know have tried to use this.

Rubbish app. Three times I've tried connecting to it with the details provided by my GP and three times I've spent an hour going round in circles. It's ridiculous that NOBODY wants to take responsibility for sorting the problem out, but EVERYBODY insists I use the blasted thing. This needs to be made easier to do and easier to get PROPER tech support with, or it could realistically end up costing people their lives.
