Unfortunately the playback on this app is very buggy. I can't get the player to show up on my lock screen or notification pane, it only occasionally reacts to the pause/play commands from my Bluetooth earphones (not a problem with any other audio apps) and, most annoyingly, the playback often starts several minutes before or after where I paused. The selection for Finnish and Swedish books are ok but quite limited for books in English.

Every time I want to download an audiobook, it won't let me. I thought it was due to a lack of space but even after having deleted lots of stuff to make space, it's still not working. It keeps having a message saying: Couldn't download "(insert book title)" every time! Please fix this quickly I need to be able to listen while I'm traveling!!!

Generally a good experience but way too easy to jump to the middle of a book when you just want to use the lock screen widget to press pause. The "slider" should just be an indicator or it should not be there at all imho. Reallt bad that there are no chapters in most of your audiobooks (not sure I've ever seen any tbh). Audible have them in ALL books and it is a much better experience, especially for non-fiction books.

Nothing short of a scam. I installed the app to check it out and after a while I forgot about it. They charged me without any notification, email, sms after the trial period and when I contacted the support they said they don't have a refund policy. Don't forget to cancel the subscription you were tricked into. You cannot cancel the subscription through the app. Must login on the browser and there is a tiny link at the end of the page under Mina Uppgifter.

Great app can listen to all the books I love for $25 a mnth for unlimited so totally worth it. No waiting for others to return the ones I want and there is almost every book I'm looking for already waiting to be listened to or read!

Overall it works, there are some minor bugs, like sometimes it signs me out randomly, and when browsing books it throws me backwards on the list every now and then. But there are some big issue that makes this barely a two-star app. There aren't chapters in books, which is a must in the audiobooks. Especially if you want to switch between reading the book and listening to it. Also, when downloading books, it seems that you can't close your screen or use another app while it's loading, otherwise it will pause the download. This is not acceptable in any rate.

Mostly works for audiobooks , but lacks in many aspects in comparison to top players like Audible. 2025 edit: things have improved over the three years, but still no feature parity. Content discovery is erratic and player interface just not quite there.

After the latest update, it's not possible to search for anything anymore. no authors, no book series, nothing. Please correct ASAP, because the app was good before, but is now practically not working for its basic functions and is useless!

It's impossible to download content and listen to it offline. Audio will only play for about 30 seconds after you disconnect from the internet, making it imposible to use the app in locations where there is no service. What's the point of downloading? Ridículous design. Will be cancelling my subscription and would suggest that anyone that needs offline access to content find another app.

a bit buggy. if I'm already listening and I open the app it pauses my book and opens "who's listening" selection page. also the app doesn't pause automatically when I start listening to something else, like a voice note on WhatsApp etc, so I often have two sounds ongoing. very frustrating

as of may 2025 it's a good app for audio books. some small issues lately. download go well but lately it has started to pause the book at random saying we paused the book since you wasn't active. are you still there. and if i close the book myself in the night I have message are you still there we paused the book in the morning. another issue is i can't change narrator speed anymore after last update and the book is not showing chapters time left. is frozen on chapter one.

Truly bad predatory app that reels you in with free trial period offers. You can obviously subscribe in the app, but not unsubscribe.

"You can't change your subscription in the app You can't change your subscription in the app. It's a bit knotty, we know." and gives no explanation on how to change the subscription. Just pure greed and a way to make the customer to continue paying. There's no other reason not to be able to change the subscription in the app.

Good selection of books and audiobooks. It would be nice to have chapters working (as they do not work so you need to bookmark as you go along as to not struggle to pick up where you left). Also, requesting books would be a nice feature as a fee books I want aren't available here.

Great selection and fair price but I have no success removing downloads individually - I have to delete all of them at once in settings. which is a bit inconvenient. Worse, downloaded audiobooks will occasionally stop playing with no way to resume aside from waiting. Even restarting the app does nothing. Also, even though most of the UI is in English, my reccomendations tab is in German because the app thinks I'm in Austria. Will gladly adjust my rating to 5 stars when these issues are fixed.

Okay app but they need, NEED the option to navigate their audiobooks by chapters. As someone who reads the physical book as well as listen to it, it is incredibly frustrating, trying to find a spot in a book without any ability to see the chapters. // Edited down from 3 to 2 stars. Reason: every time I pause a book, it starts up in a completely different spot before or after where I was, between 15s and 3+ min away. Doesn't matter if I paused for 2 seconds or a day.

Seemed like a GREAT app, but it appears to offer mostly abridged audiobooks (you don't discover they're abridged until after you've listened, when the narrator tells you which company chopped up the book for the current recording). Highly disappointing. I thought I'd finally found a way to access multiple titles that are difficult to find outside North America, but half-stories don't count, do they? I mean if I wanted to read parts of a book I could skip random chapters myself. What a letdown.
