I'm a hardcore user of this app since hears but it's getting worse so for now I will keep 1 star. After the app redesign everything hot worse. The bikes are constantly not registered after the rides, keeping the app in a loop where you can't return a bike but also can't take a new one, leaving the app unusable for days until customer service attends your request and close the bike for you. Also in this time you can't check your account or access other parts of the app. Why would you do that ?

You have screwed this App with the update. Return of bike is not registered. Bike keeps running even after locking it back physically. Even the End functionality on the app doesn't help. Reservation is not functioning. Bike wont reserve. Says bike not available but is able to open when you directly scan to rent. Renting is successful after several tries. It's a shum. Roll back this update until you guys are ready with the new version. It's frustrating.

I have to unfortunately retract my previous positive rating. The service itself is still great, but the new app is absolutely atrocious. Just the amount of button presses required to merely start a bike rental is insane. What used to be two button press process turned into a hellscape of many annoying overlay screens to dismiss just so you can start rental. This is embarrassing level of poor UX for such high profile service.

I love the idea and bikes, it works like magic in Berlin City center. The old app was a little laggy but I was able to get all the necessary info in few seconds looking on the screen ("is there a bike near me" and after arriving to the place of interest "can I park here without getting fined"). Now it is a little hard to tell if the station is empty since the color diff is not high enough (try to use the app in the sun) and I also don't see the parking zones on the map without selecting a bike.

I like the app and the service very much for years! Very fair customer service! However, since some weeks the app forces me to share my precise location. Why? I'd like to have a choice between more privacy or more convenience. Bikes are globally identifiable by their QR-Code, right? A user provided location should not be necessary for the rental process, it is unreliable and forgeable anyways. I was always fine with zooming by hand into my region. Chosing between map providers would be nice too!

App rewamp total disaster. App is much worse compared to old one (which wasn't really good as well). i.e. now whilst renting you cannot look anything else up inside the app - something that was possible before. When returning the bike by just closing the bike lock, the app detects the returned bike, yet the app continues to show an ongoing rental. Furthermore there is all kinds of inconsistencies concerning the actual rental process ...

Folks, I love your service and I understand that you will fix your new app soon but I am paying for it already so I feel it's fair to provide feedback so far. The new app is barely usable. The main issue is not being able to see anything else while ride is active and also the gross inconsistency between the state of the hardware and the state of the app. Please, prioritize fixing this asap otherwise you might begin losing customers. The new experience is so far very frustrating.

the latest major update introduced a very annoying bug for reservation: whenever I reserve a bike it says the reservation failed and only if I restart the app I can see that the bicycle is actually reserved. if it's a free flowing bike it just disappears from the map and I don't see my reservation, but it seems like the reservation still is active because I usually find the bike and can use it at the place where it was.

The service itself is great and I really enjoy it! There are a lot of bike stations and there are many opportunities to rent a bike for free (PID Litacka, Multisport card, etc.). However, the new app design is really bad. It's harder to navigate, it's no longer compatible with dark mode, and the rental history no longer includes the map of your trip.

They completely messed up how accounts work. When logging in they automatically resend sms with a new pin, essentially resetting the pin each time you log in. Also there are integrations with for example Multisport, which forces you to create a new account under the same phone number as the previous account, which is super confusing. Now I have an account with an empty wallet, but it still works for some reason. While the same setup does not work for my girlfriend. Super weird.

I love the MobiBikes. However, this App is now nearly unusable! End not registered. 10 free minutes at station? Nope. New look and feel? Yes, indeed, but so much harder to use! Please, give me back the old app! Edit: Now I gave back a bike and got a notification that it was given back after 17 minutes. The App still showed a running rental. I contacted support. After a day I contacted support again. The rental was stopped and 1400 free minutes substracted from my free minutes! I want them back!

Nice and easy to use. After the update: The "open lock" button vanishes after some time, even when the lock is stuck and didn't open properly. That's really annoying for me bcs then I cannot try again to open the lock. Instead, the rental just ends. Also, I can't see the pink zone anymore. Furthermore I prefer to see the color zones at all time so that I know until where I can go with bike. Thank you for reading. :)

Overall good, but have next things to improve: 1. gps is not precise - I was charged for 200zl but parked on veloparking and 15zl x2 times but parked on Veturilo station. Add ability to take photo in such a case ? 2. using green color to mark zone where you can park for additional fee - it's better to mark with yellow 3. i'd update guide to help close the lock is to lift off bike from kickstand

While I was a fan of this bike service in Hoboken for over a year, since the summer the GPS has become unreliable, meaning there are no bikes at a station the app implied there were. Bikes themselves have degraded, with many more flat tires/clicking chains/seats that do not maintain position/gears that do not function well. And while in the past they did a good job of getting bikes to the stations that needed them, now that is a thing of the past, with no new bikes in months to make up for the lost/damaged bikes that have been taken out of circulation. A shame, but I hope CitiBike takes over here as NextBike has failed

Honestly one of the most frustrating companies I've ever interacted with. They tried to set up an account with our campus but their app doesn't work. If you have a problem getting them on the phone is impossible and they don't respond to emails. Of course it works to take money from me, but charging my account es the only thing they can do. I've wasted hours of my life trying to get in contact and make this work. Absolutely garbage. Worst customer service and awful engineering.

The bike itself is good and useful, but the whole process of returning it is a nightmare. Most stations are unmarked, and so you see a group of bikes parked so close to the real station but far enough to be counted "outside" and so they overcharge you. On top of that they also have GPS problems in the majority of the times, so you can park correctly and still get fined. The app doesn't show you if it is about to overcharge you or not, which is very stupid. Support takes a long time to answer.

This app is completely flawed for the Pittsburgh location. When you try to select the location either way it doesn't even default to the correct country code, doesn't send you a pin, and therefore you can't even try to register to rent a bike. Still have yet to receive a pin code. Please fix your coding! I would give this app zero stars if I could since I couldn't even use it!!

I'm definitely a fan of this service! It's affordable and accessible and the bikes are quite good. I wish there was more of a tutorial inside the app for where you can park the bikes and the options you have because I've had to figure most things out by trial and error (including paying a €20 fee because I thought I was parking the bike right but absolutely was not). Not the greatest UX to protect and guide customers. There are often glitches like the bike lock doesn't open, etc

After a great experience with customer service, I had to write a review. I rented a bike downtown at around 11:30pm and rode it across the river to where I work. I tried returning it at the station for that, but it kept increasing the time in the app, but the bike said returned. I eventually called around 1am and was talking to them within a minute. They fixed it and refunded the over charge. I was worried after reading other reviews but am glad it worked out.

Most of the time, you can eventually get a bike rented. You may even be able to return it, although you'll often be charged a fee for no reason and have to call to get it fixed. The app crashes, the QR reader doesn't work 80% of the time even in perfect light conditions, and it often shows bikes that simply aren't there. Pair that with the super poorly maintained bikes, and you have a perfect headache for anyone who tries to use it. I've had three broken bikes in a row, and when you realize and try to swap it out, you get charged a fee.
