New app design is horrible! Everything is cluttered and appears like a 5yr old designed the new UI. Plus, with all the local news stories that could be put on the app, why recycle older national news? Uninstalling. Remember the old saying: If it ain't broke, don't fix it! See ya'!

Complete garbage app . Shows commercials during emergencies. Time frame is always lagging. Consistent failure to load . App laggs, freezes , locked up or shuts down. April 19th I had 3 minutes to get to shelter because David Payne wouldn't shut and listen to his chasers . Someone is going to die because of this app

As far as I'm concerned there's not a better local news app, 😊 Update, I still really like the app but for some time now the weather hasn't worked, there's no 7 day forecast at all, just a blue screen, :(:( Updated and everything is working great now, :):)

the app was great til they added pictures to their notifications. now you can't read the headline. that means you have to go into app just to see watches and warnings.. not to mention the stack of adds you have to go thru to get there. if they change their notification system. then it would be 5 star

This app is almost useless since the last update. Auto-playing videos with volume, no grouping of notifications, and story notifications not linked to an actual story on the app. I will be deleting this app and would not recommend it to anyone. Go back to the old version.

Your live weather stream lags by up to 10 minutes. With that kind of lag, it is almost useless for early tornado warning. You push the app for just this purpose. You need to fix the problem.

New app jumps around as I'm reading due to pop up's and ads loading making it difficult to read news. It's basically not a simple app anymore. Also, I can no longer share a story with a simple link. The app requires full 3rd party access to my contacts which I won't allow for obvious privacy reasons. I like news 9 but I'll probably be moving away from this app until it become easy to use again.

Please fix two things. 1. I need control over the alerts I receive. I can't turn them off or limit them in any way. I want weather and breaking news, but I get a zillion alerts that just don't matter to me. 2. I cannot watch videos all day, but can quickly scan an article. seems the majority of alerts I click are videos.

Everytime I try to click on a notification about traffic or really anything it gives me an ad video and then sends me to something that's completely unrelated. To make it worse the News homepage once you actually open the app only has a few stories and won't load anymore. I prefer to get my news from News 9 but you have the worst app out there.

I downloaded the app last night before the storms because I trusy news 9. My phone was charged and I was ready for the storms. My power went out, so glad my phone started out charged! This app really drained my battery!!! I have had the same issue before, that and the fact that there are way too many ads is why I uninstalled before. It is sad but I am uninstalling the app again for the same reasons as above. I have tried turning off all notifications but this is not an easy thing to do. I still

This use to be a good app. We used the weather info and their ESP Radar regularly. something has changed in the past 30 days, because it won't load the ESP Radar, and random other things. their service stinks. We've messaged them 3 times to ask for feedback and help. we have gotten no response. it has been 3 weeks. We have began using a different news station's app.

Read the other bad reviews. The notifications dont always take you to the proper story and also I can't read the whole notification. The old version was much better. When it sends the notification, there's only like 4 words of the title. I tried to search for the details on an active shooting and when I clicked on it, it didn't take me anywhere. I feel like it shouldn't be that hard to find details on such a huge story. This app DOES NOT KEEP YOU INFORMED!

It is very annoying that when an alert is received that you can't read the full text. Especially when a storm timeline is sent by an alert you can only know what the first couple of cities are and when you click on the alert it just shows the radar. And as for breaking news alerts they are pointless if the story can't be found on the app when you click on the alert. Please fix this and I'll be glad to change my review.

Newest update seems to have made an easier format to deal with and the annoying ads dont seem to be obscuring the stories anymore which is a big improvement. Unfortunately the app is pushing notifications despite disabling that option and rebooting phone. My phone is being flooded with notifications! Probably going to have to delete this app if not fixed soon. Update: Emailed twice about notification several days apart but got no response. Had enough, deleting and going with KFOR.

Ok. Got this for weather alerts, tornados, and such. The ability to watch live, from my phone... well and good. I dont like to watch the news alerts, because i mind data, etc.... but the links work... however, none of the headline, breaking news, article type links work. I just get the home page, and can never find the story the alert was telling me about. Its highly frustrating. Dont put out an alert, without a landing page for it.
