I use Newegg almost exclusively for my computer parts needs. They'll usually have a better deal than the third party sellers but at least you'll have other options if your item is out of stock. RMA process is very simple when you get a bad product (it happens with every seller/manufacturer). I've only ever had to do it once though. Wishlists are perfect for making lists of parts for a new build. Put anything on there and wait for price drops, coupons or sale events. Happens very frequently.

Apparently the back button on my Android phone now takes me back to the main menu instead of back to the products I have filtered for viewing. Wouldn't be an issue except every other app seems to work the other way. So when you accidentally hit back on your phone instead of the app (top left) then you lose your filters and get to start your search all over again. Maybe I'll check out Amazon until they fix this. I dunno. ðŸ˜

The new GUI (layout) is a bit to get use to versus the previous version, but I think it's a decent move forward. Cons: -Finding your wishlists are a lot harder compaired to previously. -Doesn't display quantity in your wishlists. -No add all to cart button in your wish list. -App is less responsive than previously. -Stability problems! I've gotten stuck on loading screens, especially when switching between cell phone data to my homes wifi, and have had the app stop working at these times.

New app is great, except I can't buy anything! Both cards I tried say auth declined... Also, it seems you have to pixelhunt to click many UI elements. This is particularly true of text links/buttons, and several UI elements imply they can be tapped anywhere, but must be tapped on the text. (They even have a little icon on the right that doesn't seem to let you click it.)

Slow unresponsive unintuitive. These are just a few of the words I could use to describe the abysmal experience had trying to use this app. I have never had so much dificulty with a shopping app. This app is optimized to part 80% of sheeple with their money quickly. Everyone else can f right off. Don't worry about it. I can find the same stuff at less parasitic retailers. 💰

This newegg app offers mobile only deals. Some items are very interesting. The performance of the browsing is quite good, but i have noticed that the browsing experience is limited by the information shown. It is not always enough for the product you're watching compared to the full website. This version has fixed the payment options, but still, it is clunky tondo certain things at checkout like change your card from your saved options.

I love newegg. But thier new app is terrible. It's slow. Sometimes, it will spin its wheels for up to 5 minutes, just to show the category page. Plus, usually you have to select something 10+ times, to get it to go to what you want to see. The first 9+ times, it will briefly show a spinning phone icon. And then it will just go away, leaving you on the same page you were on. Come on newegg. You can do better than this! The last version was much better. Although it had its issues, too.

wishlist modification is very buggy... it wont hold the changes, then apply all my attempts hours later. I hit the plus button to add a second drive to the list and a second later would drop back to one. I tried several times before i gave up. then the next day i go on to find four drives. then it did the same thing as I tried to remove them... plz fix it!

Newegg gets five stars. Their app is good too with just a few minor hang-ups. They allow you to sort pretty well for a mobile app, but it doesn't have a power search like their full website. The Newegg Flash section doesn't allow you to sort at all. There is only a couple of predetermined categories. Overall ease of use, visuals, and smoothness is fantastic. EDIT: The search feature has been improved. 5 stars!

EDIT: The issues I had with the previous version of the app have been fixed! I can finally use the app to open product links from Newegg! So more stars! Original: The old version was much better. This new version barely works. I am unable to even follow a web link to buy a product like I was able to do for years before updating to the newest version. Also, the mobile exclusive and shell shocker deals barely let me access them anymore, the slider function for them doesn't work reliably.

It gets the job done but.. some sellers, when you "drill into them" and "view all products" it says there are zero items, despite products being shown on the sellers landing page. Items lists are a bit cramped. Product info jumps around as it loads so if you're looking for & at specs, they're going to pop down below comments and hide themselves behind a "more" button. Also missing is the "hold to select" allowing comparison. That said I'm right next to a computer and still used the app!

The app is entirely too slow. It takes on average 8 seconds to load a new page. Adding or updating filters is slow to respond to input. Overall it's extremely bloated. The team needs to work on performance. When they think it's fast enough, they need to start over and make it faster. When that's done, make it even faster. On the plus, it's quick to buy what you need if you know exactly what you want. If you're doing research for products, don't bother using this. Use the website instead.

I have been shopping with newegg for 12 year and have never been disappointed with the products I have received. I have only returned one product, but that was due to choice and compatibility error on my part. Their app is very user friendly and all of their products have just the right amount of information you need to select your products with ease.

The app is glitchy and requires an occasional reinstall. It's gotten better since the beginning but it still has a long way to go before I can give it 5 stars. The wish list feature is my favorite but I'm not sure why there's also a build list that isn't as easy to use. I really wish they're remove the suggested search terms. I'd rather not have to delete the text just to type what I'm really looking for. The app restarts occasionally but it's better than it was a few weeks ago.

I have used this app since it came out. It has been a good app. New update around July 4th 2024 and now it's almost unusable. When I go to select a filter I click on it and nothing happens, then about 15 seconds later it does the action. The whole app is way too laggy. It is faster to open a browser and surf the site that way. I have went from 4/5 stars to 2/5. When it gets fixed I'll update then.

App is beyond slow. Takes forever to load anything Glitches like crazy When in cart it constantly changes the order of the saved for later items and most items don't show until you scroll up and down over and over. Over all app has been trash ever since you guys introduced this laggy trashy UI a few years back. With every update it's gotten worse and worse. Whatever division of newegg is responsible for the development of this app needs to be fired as it's almost a useless app!

Newegg has forced us to update to new version by blocking the use of older versions, and the new v.5.67.0 is absolutely atrocious. Search or filtering categories has become painfully slow. So much so that I end up tapping a link 4-5 times thinking it didn't register, when in reality the app is just trying to process the request. Getting from the home page to a category with filters takes literally 5 minutes...something that used to take mere seconds. Feels like running Photoshop on 2gb RAM.

It was a great app... then there was little bugs with the last update, like there was no home button or any way to get back to the home screen without closing the app.... And now the latest update, made it slower then hell crashes all the time and just won't respond half the time... Love shopping here, but kinda hard to use a desktop or laptop if you can't order parts for it... lol

The app has gotten worse. Navigating through it, waiting 30 seconds for any context menus to open is not what I would consider a "performance improvement". Waiting 15 seconds for additional products to load is also not what I would consider a "performance improvement". And, no, it's not my network speed. Hope the next update solves these performance issues.

Fresh install after a hard reset of my phone, and search filters no longer work. That basically makes the app worthless to me. EDIT: it took a few weeks, but the problem with search filters has been fixed, and I'm shopping with ease again. Thanks 2nd EDIT: July 2024, search filters not working again. Unable to uncheck any filters. I'ts been like this for a couple of months again, and I ended up making my last purchase from Amz because of it.
