Pros: It has a new setup compared to the previous ones, so in a way it was a breath of fresh air. I also appreciate how they revived her og look but made her age because of the timeline. Gameplay-wise they have new kinds of puzzles and some really had me stuck for a while. It's nice that they added new elements while keeping og elements and the essence of the previous ones. Graphics is 💯 Cons: The voiceover was kinda off to me. Ending felt abrupt too, like what happened after?

I've played the entire series and I really enjoyed this one, just like the others.. I had to look up te answer to the clock puzzle in chapter 3, I still have no idea where the clue was... Great game, I like this level of puzzle, so of them are challenging at a reasonable level, you have to think.... Keep it up devs you are doing some fine work with this series.

Excellent game, although a slight glitch in one of the puzzles because l am playing on a mobile phone. It was the locker puzzle. I had the right combination but it did not work. I paid to skip, but when l watched a walk-through, probably played on a computer or tablet, it worked. Just a tiny irksome point to an otherwise creative and enjoyable game. Not that l minded paying for your hard work.

I like that Laura is aging, but I don't really like her voice here. Anyway, the stories always interesting, some puzzles are difficult to solve, but it's fine because it makes the game more challenging. However some puzzles have the same style as in the previous game and it's kinda boring. Overall the game is still great, I appreciate the developer for maintaining these series to be fun.

Nice episode in this series. Puzzles might be painful from time to time, but the story is kind of entertaining, and the gameplay is smooth. Don't see the value of having extras. Having a counter of hidden objects per chapter would be helpful (so that we replay only the missing chapter). But hey, you, random player! Stop losing your time with those (still pleasant) games! Get your stuff together and do sth productive! Go for a walk and breathe some fresh air! You could be so much more!

Especially early on there were some sections that felt too much like the entire game was a hidden object game with many small items the player has to find for no apparent reason. They're not used for any puzzles and didn't add any information. The story is definitely more interesting than on the last two installments and the way the chapters are divided is also really nice and gives a good change of scenery.

I'm mixed on this, I absolutely hate f2p versions of games, but to purchase the collectors edition full version it's 19.99. It used to be you could have the option to buy it straight from the store at a reasonable price, but that's a hefty price tag for a mobile game. I really love the games from this developer but I don't want to pay that much for the full game and the free versions are just frustrating.

FiveBN & NYM5 does not disappoint! Great game play, story line, graphics, music, theme & extras. Used to be $6.99 on PC is now $19.99 on smaller phone screens so price is steep; That said, I recommend starting with 1 and playing all the way through 5. What may seem as a small thing, on games like these, it's smarter play when you get a knife, you keep it, like in real life! Ha. Get in a headphone atmosphere and take your time! These are the games we need more of, not copy cats! A+

Awesome game. Other then the lay out was weird and I had to play Chapter 1, then, Chapter 2 (bonus chapter), and Chapter 3, it was good. Usually, you have to play the entire game before doing the bonus but this was laid out different. What ever. Puzzles could've been explained much better. Some puzzles didn't have much instructions and you just had to do it and get it wrong and do it again so 1 star taken away for that. Overall in this NY series, this was the best!

The puzzles in chapter 1 were obnoxious and took way too long to solve. I ended up skipping them simply because they took way too long to get through. I could not get any of the flowers to move in the flower puzzle and did not feel like watching any more ads to skip. I'm deleting the game. I liked the other 5 mysteries, but this one is just frustrating.

This is my first game experience by this game maker in this series. I think immediately the creative storyline and the large structure of the setting capture my attention. I love the fact that the boss is far more mysterious than simply an agent of the story. I hope with more game in the future, more details from the boss can be revealed! I love how the game designed different problem solving, not only the same type of solving around the game. And it is fun to wander around to search for clues.

These games always keep me intrigued and wanting to solve more of the puzzle. I would say some of the puzzles definitely seem like they are geared to get you to pay or watch ads- a few of them are so convoluted or difficult at times that my fiance who is a master puzzle solver gives up and plays the ads. Otherwise these games are so fun with a really intricate fantasy storyline that I really enjoy.

I didn't like this one as much as others from this developer, mainly due to puzzle difficulty and the usual issue of missing areas of interest that you have to go digging to find. This series also isn't my favorite of theirs, purely out of personal preference. I much prefer the very fantasy settings of their other games versus the 1950s real world with hidden supernatural stuff of this series.

All of your hidden objects' games have great artwork & animations. The problem is that much of the searching for the objects makes NO sense. Also, some of the puzzles are freaking frustrating simply because of the mechanics. Furthermore, the clues button just plain sucks! 90% of the time, it doesn't actually give you a hint. There are countless other reasons for this bad review. Get your STUFF together! 🤬

My progress was halted by the safe puzzle in Chapter 1 randomly moving out of puzzle mode. At first I thought I was taking too long or clicking away from it, but it keeps happening and it resets each time. Very annoying when I'm on the last step. Uninstalling because that's a necessary puzzle and I'm not interested in trying to reinstall and replay up to that point in the hope that it works. Disappointing bc I used to love Five BN, but this is the 2nd game I've not been able to finish

I love the game! Was so excited for the new one. But really hate most of the puzzles in chapters 2 & 3. Most are either difficult to understand how to solve, even with instructions. And they're unnecessarily difficult. The first one in chapter 3 makes no sense, even with the "hint" and instructions. And the alarm puzzle seems impossible. Also in chapter 3 when you enter the building, there's no hints for the clock time or the order for the knobs on the drawer. Chapter 3 needs more work.

I thought this game was great! It was very engaging. I loved how the chapters were broke down and fit in story form. For a F2P, well worth my time. Thank you for making a free version of your games. As far as some of the complaints in some of the reviews...They can be done and can be done WITHOUT skipping them or purchasing anything. To all of you who berated this game...maybe search a word is more your speed.
