I love and finished the three previous episodes. I was afraid to install this fourth episode since I read the critics in review. Indeed, the puzzles are more difficult to solve than previously. And sometimes we're confused by the fact that we have to interact multiple times with the same object to activate the mecanism. But it's right what I needed for I finished the previous games almost too easily. And the cutscenes are awesome So keep up developper ! I'm already waiting for the 5th episode!

Ok so far it's pretty damn good. I have to say that the last one, New York M. 3 was maybe the best game I have ever played. This one has already had a few puzzles I didn't really understand what I was too do. BUT.. let's see. I'll come back and give it a 5 of it's not too crazy hard.

Like that It is not full paranormal or whitch craft or demonic interaction. like the interactive clues. Love that I am able to watch a video for a hint and not have to wait for energy charge ups. Enjoyable instead of frustrating

I love these kind of games. I particularly like this one because it doesn't have hidden object scenes or ads!! Some of the puzzles have been a little tricky and I've had to go to a walkthrough to get help, but it's definitely worth trying if you like these kind of games.

What more can be said that 5 stars. Just as good as New York Mysteries 3. Actual real figuring out solutions and clues quite like real life..wick in kerosene... paper to soak up water.. makes it very immersive. Art magnificent. For a free game the 3D animated sequences are fantastic.

I haven't completed the game yet but it's decent so far. It does seem to need you to be very precise when looking around scenes. Should take a page from the TRUE FEAR book and have ! In areas where an action can be done instead of trying to go back and forth wondering if you got everything needed from each area

I normally don't rate games and I play lots of them but this one deserves attention. It's one of the best I've played and there are so many out there. The level of detail is awesome and the story line actually makes sense. Also the items and their usages are logical as well. The mini games are not too easy but not too difficult either. I can't get over how well the main character's outfit is so well thought out too, very fashionable lol. Love this game.

This is the second New York mysteries that I played that it allows you to get to a point near the end and the puzzle has a problem. If you don't like giving free games then just charge don't add technical problems to make us pay. I'll stick with Haiku and AE games. And the developers or whoever don't have the integrity to answer people with issues. Just don't waste your time. The safe will just annoy you.

I loved this game. Every item made sense, unlike a lot of other adventure games. There are puzzles within hidden object games. Most puzzles are a little harder to solve, which is AWESOME! And don't complain about spending money for hints. Its only $2.99 for 30 coins. They deserve to get paid for their work. Must play!

Five-BN games are nicely done, with great graphics and story lines. My one complaint is that I tap parts of a scene several times, only to resort to using a hint and the hint points me to the very place I'd tapped numerous times. I'm either not precise enough or not tapping hard enough... just a little annoying. Otherwise, I am enjoying this series very much.

Just finished. Bonus play & hints are $ for. I didn't bother. It's not bad but it is meant for a big screen or computer, not a phone app. This was a "click everywhere & hope you find something" on the screen just to find objects. Everything blends together & you can not tell needed objects from the background. That fact makes this an extremely frustrating "find & click on" game. The puzzles were fun but did not have enough "how to play" explanation to start. All that told only worth 3 stars.

Truly f2p. This and earlier games in the series are enjoyable & the puzzles require a good balance of skills. Three issues: the full scene often exceeds the screen size, so items are easily missed; the directions for puzzles are very unclear & confusing; Lastly, there are so many locations, one often must cycle through all scenes to find the one you want, need or remember (despite the map ). This is very frustrating & time consuming. Nonetheless, worth your time.

Love it but I'm on my third try without hints and read achievements it said I missed the video in the library when the projector was fixed? Not so? Your games aren't giving me full credit for puzzles and games I completed? What happened to the artwork? And Laura's hair and makeup? I liked her the way she was. It seems that from the first game to this one there's a lot of excitement missing and the artwork less realistic and more of a cartoonist look. The library video was a cartoon in sienna!

I feel like you saved all of your most frustrating puzzles for this one. Thank goodness for the YouTube walk through! I haven't had to skip a puzzle since the first game (being new at it, learning curve) but so far, I've needed to skip 3. I'm not looking for easy puzzles, but goodness...mix it up a bit please. 3 stars for the frustration factor.

The worst of the series by far! Very poorly adapted for Android. Most taps don't register, and working the puzzles was a nightmare. It's impossible to tell what items to click, so you just wildly until you get lucky. I nearly gave up on this one. The puzzles were so annoying. Most were just an eternity of trial and error, no real figuring out. Clue pages were too small to see. Some solutions made no sense, even after looking up the answers.

Well done, interesting, and you don't have to worry about suddenly running out of energy in the middle of a task! I enjoy the little extras like finding sets of collectibles and morphing objects. And it's always fun when there's repeating characters and concepts from one chapter to another. Makes the storyline feel more real and cohesive. I don't mind buying a few extra hints- especially because I'm not forced to or constantly reminded of it. Thanks! I look forward to more.

One of my favorite in the New York Mysteries series, although I enjoyed them all. Awesome graphics and game play. It's not super repetitive like most mobile games, where the mini games are the same with just slight variations each time. It stays interesting and challenging throughout. The updated map was much easier to navigate than in previous games. My only complaint is there was issue with screen ratio and no option to adjust.

I like the fact that its free to play the full game and cheap for the bonus chapter. There were more than a few puzzles that were downright frustrating and some that didnt have clear instructions at all so I was left struggling to figure out what to do. Ive played more than a few games from this company by now and overall Ive really enjoyed them but this one was just ok for me (great graphics though).

I seriously love all of their games! In my opinion, they are superior to all others I have played so far. Their realistic graphics, attention to detail, exciting adventures, organization, themes, consistency... I could go on and on. The only thing I sometimes struggle with is the vagueness of mini-game explanations with no demonstration. But otherwise, I an hooked on Five-BN games & series!! No other games have given me the same level of satisfaction!

Once again a great game from this developer. Interesting story, wonderful artwork, challenging puzzles. My only complaint, as always, is struggling to find areas of interest to zoom in on. The pc version of this game has a hover notification with the cursor but on mobile there's nothing to indicate an area and often it can be overlooked. Then you spend a lot of time trying to find what you missed or you spam click all over every scene in the hopes it helps you avoid missing something.
