Only negative comment is some items are found and not used for a long time. Or you come across a puzzle but need a diagram that you don't find until like 10 rooms later. It is frustrating

Stuck in an impossible puzzle. In the train tunnel there's a mini game where you press arrow buttons in a particular order. I know what the answer should be, but I can only get 5/6 correct. The last one is incorrect no matter what combination I pick. I can't get past this!

So, the game is fun, but some story beats are just annoying...for example, how the villain learns that one of his targets is still alive... Just no. If you guys need the help of a professional writer, contact me. I have the degrees, 30 years experience, and I take freelance jobs on the side. ;-)

Love this game. Brilliant game, and it's free. Some of the tasks are enough to send you nuts, but we'll worth the effort. Struggle a bit with some of the tasks because my eyesights not great. But get my grandchildren to do those ones.

FIVE BN Games has done it again. What an amazing series, I cannot put them down. Lost Lands and New York are by far the best...NY 2 has definitely an amazing storyline and keeps you engaged at every turn. This series isn't has long and drawn out as the others. Flames was a snooze fest but this NY series is a great rebound. Keep it up FIVE BN Team! Love it!

Big fan of company's games. NOT happy about this one. The first was perfect! I LOVE that these games are difficult for even an experienced hidden object gamer. Why do the stupid sparkles for everywhere to click?!?! It's terrible! So distracting and takes away from the fun of the game! At least make an option to turn it off for experienced players Also why, absolutely why would you make so much of the story where the items you use dissappear but you need them shortly after

I just loved this game! I went ahead & paid the fee to open the full game & bonus game. The storyline to the graphics were exceptionally executed. This was indeed a true mystery game. I cannot wait to play others just like it..Kudos again for the development of this games & many others. FYI..you're given a total of 15 free hints! 5 hints are seen on the main screen but if you click the "HINT" when you're out..a pop-up will appear there your 10 free hints delivered 1 every 3 minutes.

Some puzzles are straight forward and make sense, but others link back to previous rooms making it difficult to follow through the story. Delay in opening boxes or selecting the correct option caused me to question if I was doing it right. Need a quicker response to the action being taken. Also when using a hint in one room, it will reveal the room you need to go to next but when you go there, there's no hint and you need to use another coin to get the hint in that room.

I just discovered the New York Mysteries games and I love them. They are challenging, but usually fairly intuitive. It's great that you get some free hints. I have only played the "free to play" versions and thus far have spent no money, which is really great. I wish I could turn off the character voices, but not a big deal. Overall, great games.

I love these games. They are very challenging at times, but not so much it can't be figured out. Best part its free unless you want to buy more coins for hints, but they aren't necessary if you're willing to put in the effort. I played the first New York Mysteries and immediately had to look if there were any other similar games by the company and was extatic to see there were I believe 5 of these (as of comment). If you love mystery/puzzle games this is a must in my opinion.

Absolutely amazing job!! One of the best parts in the game, was the fact that there were no hints on how to do the puzzles. Love the challange. I dont use hints. And i would say to anyone who gets stuck, just put it down and come back. And if you play on the phone, just keep pressing EVERYWHERE lol. 2 complaints devs. Please move the map icon away from 'hints' please. Also the 'Start over' button should be far away from cont game. Didnt finish part 1 game. got wiped due to pressing that instead

Loved this game. Easy to follow and puzzles are nice.. good fun for hours. The only difficulty i had was some times items from one location would be used in a different location. Remembering that is difficult. One improvement suggestion would be to give notification when you have to return to a previous location to interact with the bishop.

I prefer other series from this developer (the more modern stuff like this isn't my thing as much as fantasy stuff is). That said, the storyline is great especially if you're into detective stuff. I still ran into issues with finding areas of interest I missed but less so than I have in other games. The puzzles are good, some challenging but nothing impossible. All in all another game I'd recommend from this developer!

Amazing. I have a lot more fun with the interactive puzzles with tools than squinting during hidden object minigames. This series is great, it doesnt have the mindless hidden object minigames, the puzzles within are interactive and the game is super challenging for me, and entertaining at the same time. Once, again, those hand drawn graphics are gorgeous.

I would have given a 5 but the mini games and puzzles are glitchy! some impossible on Android! It's a frustration and costly if you have to pay to skip? I love NYM games I suggest buying the collectors edition if you can find it? I couldn't? Believe me, you'll save a bunch of money on skipping unplayable minigames! ( Some took hours to make parts stick)! The story and graphics are worth it. I wish Developers could fix the glitches for Android mobile? Sticky snapping parts that don't stay put!

Outstanding free game! Fantastic graphics, well setup. Couple of complaints about captions and not succeeding at getting sound to come on (though perhaps not related to the game). All in all an exceptional game in a vast space of meh games. Thank you for not inundating the content with commercials and instead allowing the user to enjoy the game, because of that I wasn't mad about needing to buy a few hints. Just very well done.

Thrilled to fi d an inventory-based puzzle game with a good story that will run on my phone. And this series really is free to play if puzzles, logic, and thinking outside the box with your inventory items is your cup of tea. My only problem, since I'm playing on my phone, is that periodically, the puzzles will assume you can see the artwork more clearly than you really can. Plan to play all of them and hope they develop more! Plus they provide their own walkthrough!

This is my second game experience in this series and for sure the pathway to solve for the mysteries are fascinating. I can't stop going through puzzles by puzzles to get to the final truth. Sometimes the items are hard to guess their actual use. Or sometimes it will take some time until the actual use of some items is revealed. I think that is the challenging part here because things are getting nonlinear and thought provoking. And I will need to use both logic and memory to play the game.

The game itself is pretty good, and i love the skip with coin option. If i had to make a change, i would say make the levels complete before heading to another area. It gets confusing when you are at the end of the game but find an item for a room in the beginning. By that point, i had already forgotten that the area was still needing something solved, so i ended up using all my hints just to jump around the map.

I like this game a lot its like the game resident evil without zombies. Solving the problems is great I just got annoyed with every door needs a key and you have to go back scene's constantly. And if you use a hint ir just points to arrow to previous scene but not which scene & there's a lot of scenes!!! But still it takes you back to fur old mystery type game!!!
