Its a good and fun game but could be improved. Would like it more if it were a career or story mode. Also drills after games. Graphics are good although sometimes I find that it stops or closes. Its hard to upgrade skills since you make less in the begining until you get to negotiate contract. Another thing I would suggest are skill points while I like mini games it tiring just to improve by only 3 points. Feel like players should at least have a certain amount of skill to start.

It's a New Star game, which means it's difficult to complain about given the competition for career-mode style mobile sports games, but the Match Rating system ports much worse to baseball than any of the other games in the series. Failing Hitting chances, in particular, is far too punishing for both realism and the difficulty of the minigame - going 2 for 4 in a game tanks my rating about two full points.

Starts with a good tutorial that walks you through all features of game play and has opportunities to practice (improve) skills outside of "official" games. Games are played in about 10 minutes through a very cool and unique 1st person perspective that focuses on YOUR players ability to bat, throw, catch, run and even pitch. Teammates participate without your involvement. Cool pitching mechanic ! Batting is too easy and fielding is too hard. 5 stars if more balanced and player was customizable.

For the most part I enjoy the game. It is challenging, lots to do. But there are some kinks that need to be worked out. Some of the things the game wants me to do with pitching is impossible. Even using the cheat card, the target is so far away from the ring that there is no way to hit it. I had to turn my guy back into a batter only. And the interview sequence is broken. I have an excellent memory and remember the green sequence correctly, but the game still says I got it wrong. But good game.

Never played a game with a career mode quite like this one. It is very entertaining, and can keep you going for hours. It is fairly challenging to get the currency though to level up, and you really have to play top notch every single game with no mess ups or you lose a lot of relationship with the coach, fans, and team. Overall though, it's a really good game.

The form system needs a lot more work, it's not very true to baseball at all. I go 2-4 with a Home Run and a double, but my two outs give me a like 1.0 rating? I get one pitching chance, and he gets a hit, and my rating is like -10.5. It's impossible to keep up good relationships or move up if you're punished that much for stuff that happens in baseball like all the time. There's a lot of good details in the game but the form ratings make it very frustrating.

Very fun and enjoyable overall. My biggest complaint is the controls during the fielding section and during base running. It is very clunky and doesn't move like how you would expect your character to. I find myself failing those minigames a lot because of the wonky movement. I feel like just tapping or having a control stick would make it a lot better.

Can be fun, but buggy. Sometimes when I press a button in the menus, it does nothing, forcing me to restart the game. I have to restart 3 times sometimes. It even happens when I'm about to get a sponsor, or complete practice, forcing me to redo the practice, or results in me not getting a sponsor. Fun game, but bugs are very annoying and slow down gameplay.

I've enjoyed the game, though there couldn't be some improvements. First, I feel running can be tweaked. The player slows down way too much rounding bases. I have often been thrown out when it says the base is "easy." Also, in real baseball, a ball hit to the outfield is a guaranteed single, whereas you can get thrown out in this game. I also feel defensive positioning is not accurate; 2nd and SS play way too close to 1st and 3rd base respectively, leaving huge gaps up the middle.

Great game for offline and mobile. Has the career style you would have like the 2k games, etc. Great idea for a game. Except it is very slow. I have a very fast phone, but 75% of the time I press a button to go back to the menu or something it take like 5 seconds or more. Another thing is that every game you get a rating from 1.0 to 10.0, and after almost every game, it was an unreasonabley low rating. And the main thing I hate about this game is its running controls, they suck. Self explanatory

Although it doesn't follow many of the rules of baseball, it's a fun concept. In the throwing and base running mini games, the controls are horrible and honestly don't make much sense even after reading the directions when the mini game appears. Pitching is also a bit odd. I feel like the game is meant to be super fast paced, but at certain times, it makes it impossible to make any plays, like with fielding and throwing. I like the career mode concept, just hope some of these issues can be fixed

The game is great! I do feel Luke sometimes the speed and how fast they throw the ball to 1st is annoying but definitely playable. Running the bases to game speed traits is very difficult. The part of it all that looses 2*s is the face the back button is not working properly. Sometimes the next button doesn't either. This is EXTREMELY annoying and is often why I stop playing this game and switch to another. Please fix this SOON!

The foundation of a great game is there. Pitching and hitting are fun and rewarding, and the campaign feels intriguing. However, the controls on base running and fielding are just.....so bad. The speed (and direction?) of swiping needed is either not humanly possible or extremely counterintuitive. I could never reach the target base. Ever. For this reason I wasn't able to complete a full season. Fruitlessly clawing at my phone screen is not fun.

I downloaded because Im a big fan of retro bowl and rb college and have full versions of both. On paper NSB is great, but its too hard to play casually. You have to strain yourself for running and fielding. Not exactly what Im hoping for from a phone game. I purchased gear in the game for $7 thinking it would make the game easier (or playable), but it goes away after 25 games. If it costs that much real world money it should last a few seasons. Now the game is too hard to progress again.

It's ok. I was enjoying it, but for some reason or another, the game got stuck in permanent fast forward. Like not just the box with the 3 arrows for dialogs, but literally everything. Pitch speed was instantaneous batting opportunities, and fielding opportunities were also instantaneous. Un-installed and reinstalled didn't fix it, lost about 1 season of progress, not coming back to do it over again

Starts off fun, gets impossible. I got a card pack that has the 5 star running shoes, and cannot advance my running skill. I am swiping for all I've got. The devs do not want you to win. The batting in the ultimate league more often than not involves a bunch of bloop outs to the pitcher. Hitting is not fun in ultimate. The running and fielding parts in ultimate are also unplayable. You have about two seconds to run to 2nd base, and one second to throw in a ball.

I can not begin to describe how frustratingly dumb this game is. The batting slows the ball down intermittently and with no cause. Running bases or getting a ground ball is like trying to control a chimpanzee. Pitching is a guessing game in itself in how much spin and where to tap to throw the ball. Fielding pop fly balls is the best it gets, and that's dependent on whether or not your glove becomes translucent to see the ball. The cards, energy level, and relationships suck.
