This App saved my day! I got an updated Android 13 phone, and sad to find out that the hot-spot tethering will force-shutdown if it cannot detect any Internet in 5 minutes (whoever wrote this feature should be fired). After I used this App, not only the shutdown problem was gone, my SMB server finally is fast enough to stream 4k videos! This App deserves every penny it asks, because I was close to pay $69 for a travel router. Now I don't have to.

This app is almost perfect for my needs, I have a lot of important work to do on the web and I can't be constantly topping up data to keep my only source of internet access functional, so having direct computer access to my phone's non-hotspot data is invaluable. That said, there are a lot of services that won't work through the required proxy, but there's not much to do about it.

Works as advertised. Easy to setup and doesn't require 3rd party client for most use cases. To reviews saying it does not work; you must set the proxy IP after connecting to get internet access. To those wondering what the point is when they can just use built in hotspot on their phones: this is mostly for those whose hotspot is restricted by carrier and they can't do so. If you can, you don't need this app. And it will still use your cell data, it just bypasses hotspot restriction.

Ok I've had this app for a couple yrs and frankly I'm pretty impressed it still works. Like you all know, cell service providers charge extra MONTHLY for a wi-fi Hotspot capability, which is nonsense. I paid a few bucks for this app. It's not perfect! But it does the job. You have to setup the proxy ip address, which is annoying. And your phone must have location(GPS) ON in order to work. And I've had some laptops that say they can't see my wi-fi Hotspot. And sometimes it disconnects.

Real easy to use & set up - Works like a charm! A couple of mis-starts, until I realized I needed location turned on & my vpn disabled - would be great if it could handle those too, but it does what I need it for. Only using it temporarily until i trade my old phone in, which is deactivated, but still need internet access to finish transferring my data to the new phone, but if i find a need for it long term later on, definitely worth the cost to upgrade to the full version.

First hotspot app I found that works. My plan does NOT include hotspots; this app still works. WPS password is not the PIN (when connecting to the hotspot, use the other option). The WPS password apparently can never be changed, so don't let it be compromised. Your client device browser must be configured to use a proxy (look it up on the web). I've used it less than a day, but speed and reliability seem fine for streaming video. My new hotspot is an Android 7.0, Red Pocket service.

I never review apps, but this one came in clutch. I ran out of hotspot on my phone and wanted a way to use hotspot without having to pay the phone company. I tried out the unpaid version and it worked, but with slow speeds and such, I tried the paid version and I was more than satisfied. The only problem I have now is that my programs sometimes don't recodnize the LAN connection but browser activity works fine. Netflix app no, but Netflix on browser works great. Am I doing something wrong?

works perfectly everytime. only thing annoying is having to enter a new system generated password everytime I connect. Its probably a security feature but its highly annoying. I live in a rural area and have to keep the phone outside in the only spot that gets service so that I can use my laptop inside online and it takes about 3 or 4 times to get the spot and password right. However, functionally the app is perfect

It really works!!! Very easy to install and connect with step by step instructions. I experience connection issues from time to time but it is a free app and gives you free hotspot sharability. I can go most anywhere on the net, streaming is good on all my apps but youtub gives me problems unless I go there straight from the net. Stays connected for awhile and seems to reconnect fairly quickly when auto reconnect is on. Over all this app has most definitely exceeded my expectations. 5 Star

Bought this app for an upcoming cruise trip to share a single WiFi connection. Been playing with it for several days. No issue connecting any client to it. However some apps (all on iphones) cannot go through, for example, iOS Mail, WeChat, Alfred Camera, etc. Another issue is that it may not work on some (older?) phones. I tried it on a Moto G4 Play (2016), but the access point created is not visible. Also a client will not get the full speed. Hopefully the cruise line won't block it.

Great app, with some limitations. I'm able to browse the web on my PC, watch videos through my steaming services, and download files. Online games do not work for me, at least none of the ones I use. It also is a bit slower. With that said it doesn't use any of my mobile network's hotspot data so I am pleased. My only experience so far has been on my PC so I cannot remark on other devices. Due to the savings I make on data I purchased the app and the speed improved dramatically.

Works great! READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!! This app works perfectly. Was able to tether my in flight connection from my phone to my laptop. To those who are saying it doesn't work, you need to read the connection instructions, which are quite easy to follow. In my case, I had to go into the internet connection settings on my laptop, set to use proxy, then set the IP and PORT. THIS IS ALL EXPLAINED IN THE APP, with pics. Once connected, worked flawlessly! Will be purchasing the full version.

Great!!! I just moved, need some time before I purchase a connection here and wanted to catch up on some shows on my PC since I set it up. I burned through my hotspot so fast but was wondering, is there a workaround and found this. Knowing I'm a data hog most times I went ahead and spent the money for pro because I have unlimited data. This is working fantastic. I'll be attempting the repeater option I read about and see if it works for my two TVs.

I don't exactly know how this app does what it does, and that's because I haven't had the need to. It does what it says, it works great. I've been enjoying a hotspot for severally months now whereas I didn't have that option without acquiring a larger monthly phone bill. Used the free version for about a week, then payed the 8 bucks for pro. That's a one time fee for unlimited internet hotspot for your computer/device. This is the first time rating and reviewing an app, or anything else for that matter, if that tells you anything.

Excellent app, and very easy to use. You can't play steam and other games on the Wi-Fi provides, because Microsoft doesn't recognize it as real internet. You can still access Chrome and open your email and watch YouTube videos and stuff. The speed on it is about 78 Mbps, which is fine, you can't really complain about something that bypasses the mobile data limit on your phone. Also the signal cuts out sometimes. Great app 10/10 It's not magic, it's SCIENCE!! 🧪

I was a BIG time FoxFi user and when the Nougat update came out it blocked many phones from being able to use the wifi mode. This app has been a great replacement. It took a moment to figure out the setup as far as how to connect to my laptop and for some reason when I connect my iPad, I can browse the internet but online games won't play because they can't detect the connection. I also would love to be able to not have to use a different login every time I want to use the service.

Works beautifully. If you plan to tether a laptop or desktop PC with it, you will have to get into Windows Control Panel to manually update a couple of settings, but instructions for doing that are available in the app's help menu. Once everything was set up properly the app worked perfectly. A couple of random disconnects but those were easily fixed by restarting the app. Highly recommend.

Perfect. To connect to my Nintendo Switch I used the proxy. I was able to connect and game on! Although I only used it for the single player part of Animal Crossing. I haven't tested it for heavy online multiplayer use, but I'm assuming I would need to purchase the removal of the data limiter. Anyway, it works great! Setting up takes seconds! *4 stars because no extensive testing was performed. :P

App still works great, paid version keeps connection for as long as you want it to, also makes a more stable connection than just running on data. This is a must-have app for me. Depending on your phone, you can use it without interrupting the connection to another device, so you can be watching a video and browsing something at the same time. Last time I checked, this was the only one thst just does what it says it will do, and it is a free version or a one time payment, not a subscription.

Works great, just like it describes. Don't need to have Hotspot on cell plan either! Only trouble I've found is that most of the time the connected device shows there's an issue with the wifi.... saying it's connected but no internet.... That's actually wrong though, it does have internet but for whatever reason it isn't detected. I just ignore it and open whatever app I need to and the internet connection works perfect. Fast as my normal connection as well. Thanks!
