Great app for seeing local cell sites & your device connection info., live connections on your device & cell towers near you. Provides the necessary data on each (co-ordinates, signal strength, carriers). Nice. Easy to use & on the eye.

Netmonitor is one of the most excellent app. I was using Net monster but is much better than net monster and easy to use, it has much more features compared with other apps and what I like the cell locator details of network, data, dbm and it also has the feature to change the mode of network and you can update and refresh it. Developer has done wonderful job, really i was searching for this app. But after installing Netmonitor i compared the two and found Netmonitor much better.

Don't install this Netmonitor app by parizene! It forces you into a 3-day trial when you first run it, without an advance warning or notice, and then charges you $7.99 per year. Also, the "Privacy & Terms" link is in very small type and difficult to select without selecting something else. I believe it is a scam. I am uninstalling it. I believe there are too many scam apps in the Google Play Store and Google does not do an adequate and responsible job to monitor it.

Decided to check this out by importing data from NetMonster. Default importing didn't work with the CLF format, you have to make sure all data is cleared and manually set 3.0 (dec). Then, it'll display correctly. I tried enabling an eSIM with the app running and it didn't give me any information about the serving site etc. NetMonster, Cellmapper and WiGLE apps show it fine.

Seems to be a great application so far, I can see me going ahead and paying for the subscription.. Its my belief that talent should be compensated... I really like the layout , color scheme, symbolism, easy to read info and simple input button selections....Only reason i cant give it a 5 so far is because im not a "Field Tester" nor do I have a T-Shirt that says "Netmon"... Love the Monitor room feel, thx for taking time to develop this mobile application!... Jimmy Lang.

Very helpful. I used this to select which mobile network types my phone will attempt to connect to. I used to use Samsung Band Selection but it no longer works and occasionally I need to shut off my phone's ability to connect to 5G because it's terrible. Did exactly what I wanted.

Never experienced cellular connectivity analysis at this level. Protection is yet to be seen. But mind blowing live info !!!

complete waste of my time. it is not user friendly neither intiutive. I am sure someboy might find it useful where it works but this obviously works in very limited places. I used it in the Dominican Republic

Deceptive App. There's a free version - allegedly - but mysteriously you need to sign up for a 3 day "free trial" of the paid version to get to use the app at all. Then somehow find a way to opt out before the free trial elapses. Given how difficult they make it to opt out during install (there is an "enable free trial" tick box that cannot be un-ticked) I don't hold out any hope that the ability to opt out would be any better respected after I'd paid / agreed to proceed.

This app is interfering with the connection speed, not worth it.

Invaluable tool with lots of info! I wish they would come up with a way to select a cell tower to connect to but apparently that's not possible.

Hijos de Satanás. Había dos alternativas. versión de prueba de 3 días "gratuita" y versión de pago (suscripción). Elegí la versión gratuita, nunca me suscribí y Resulta que envió una notificación de pago. Eso se llama ROBO. Children of Satan. There were two alternatives. "free" 3-day trial version and paid version (subscription). I chose the free version, never subscribed and it turns out that it sent a payment notification. That's called STEALING. Don't be sorry, give me my money back.

Best work around I've found for changing bands on a certain carrier and model after a certain software update disabled band selection. Thanks!

Doesn't actually show me any crowd-sourced data eg. download speeds & latency on the map around my geographic area. Without a view of data collected by other users, this app is pretty useless.

Has cool features. Supplies very detailed and maybe useless data about the tower your cellular is subscribed to. It also scans for wifi networks continuously. It does however, seem to use a fair amount of data. Mostly wifi on my phone but stil see no reason for it to be using as much as it has. For that fact alone I will be deleting the app. For the devs I would have to suggest a more modern UI and to reduce data consumption. Or, if there is a valid reason for the data use explain that.

Clean super fast, and alot of data points with plptscharts graphs and map. Thank you sir,(s)/ma'am(s)? For the app I have been waiting for since Terminator 2! I wish it was a wallpaper iframe html or xhtml or live wallpaper or something. I am going to just literally sit here and watch it run. And when I leave home, the first place I'm goin is the the first tower, with some Windex, and a ladder for when I find it, to clean. On second thought, it totally sucks!!! Just kidding *snort lol

Just updated &, HEY! They fixed the map tower location oddity I'd complained about in my last review. & what's this?! Switching between portrait & landscape no longer clears the signal plot? SWEET! 😄 Hopefully the freezing issue is also resolved(only time will tell), but thus far I'm SUPER impressed with this rendition! 😁

TO EXIT, the menu button on the Bottom Right and select Exit Negatives: it shows a popup that is suggesting you start the free trial, and has an disabled slider checkbox thing, with the only other option to buy. BUT there is an X to exit it which maybe let's them get around that? Gives a lot of detail, overwhelming for most users, this is a troubleshooting and monitoring app primarily, the monitor service should NOT turn on instantly by default on a new install IMHO, that should be a setting

The app is great and has gained a lot of features since my review 6 years ago. Access to some of the features in the radio menu have since been blocked by Samsung or Verizon, but this isn't Net monitor's fault. If I was a network engineer and understood all of the info, I expect the Pro version would be worth the $. Works well, but I could use information on the new data it captures for 4GLTE service and where to get a good US cell database.
