After playing it for a couple of weeks I can't open the game anymore. It crashes during the loading screen. Before that it worked fine, a good simple Mahjong with a few nice extras like daily challenges and different themes. Though the match animation can get a bit annoying.

I can't believe this! When "netflix games" was announced, I thought it's going to be a stupid thing. Why would anyone want games in their movie/series subscription? I thought it'll be a flop just like that Bandersnatch thing. Oh boy was I wrong. I wanted to play mahjong without ads or in-app purchases. I thought that I'll find some open source implementation as always. It's such a basic game, surely... But no, nada! And then I find this, and it's perfect! Simple, beautiful, easy to play. 6.5/5

I'd love to rate this higher because I had a blast playing this a while back, but trying to go back to it now the game just won't open for some reason. I've tried reinstalling it a number of times, clearing caches and so on but I have no idea what the issue could be. It's sad cause I did genuinely enjoy this game but if it won't reliably work anymore I can't in good conscience recommend it. If it gets an update that fixes this I won't hesitate to change that however.

I last played this game a few weeks ago. Today, it crashes consistently during loading. I see the initial splash screen for a few seconds, then I'm thrown back out to the home screen. (Same thing happens on my wife's tablet, under a different version of Android.) Shame. I used to enjoy playing this. (Shrug) Guess I'll have to uninstall it and try the competition - lots of other implementations to try.

I would like to make a request for a change.... If I get into a really fast matching flow I usually have to stop because the matching tiles smashing together in the middle of the pile blocks my view of the board.... I like the animation of the tiles and what it represents but very very distracting when you are trying to see what's left.....

Very pleasant Mahjong tile matching. It's relaxing more than tricky - you'll likely rarely fail a level. The more traditional tile sets are particularly beautiful and well designed. The only thing missing for me is the classic layout for this sort of game. Maybe because of the vertical orientation, or someone has the rights to it. Lots of other layouts to choose from. It's great how games like this, once removed from the confines of ads and micro transactions, become a lot more enjoyable.

If the app worked every time I loaded the game, it would get 5 stars. I'm not sure why it won't always load. It's not like I have an old phone. Since it's not updated with any new content, perhaps it's meant for older phones.

Hands down the best Mahjong game I've ever played. Beautiful backgrounds, tiles, and themes. Stranger Things themes super fun, but all the other ones are great, too. They just added new music to a non-Stranger Things background, and I hope they continue!! No ads, cuz you paid for it with your Netflix subscription.

UPDATE: After playing this game for while, I have found one issue. When I finish a level, I close the app for the day. The next time I want to play, I have to find where I left off. It should open to the place where I closed it. But that doesn't stop me from playing. This is a great app. The graphics are sharp and easy to read. The backgrounds are attractive too. The animations and the sound effects that go with them are entertaining and help make the game relaxing. And it is relaxing.

I've tried downloading this app but when I go to play it the main Netflix screen comes on, then the Mahjong title screen, then when the screen to select which profile I'm playing under pops up the app just shuts down & takes me to my home screen. If there's a way to fix it so that I can actually play this game that'd be amazing & I'd totally update my review & add stars. Developers, can you help please??? Thank you!!

One of the best games to come from NETFLIX so far. I often play Mahjong to maintain mental acuity and there are, of course, a gazillion versions to choose from on Google Play but this one is superior in that it has cool themes from Stranger Things, etc. Themed backgrounds, tiles, and sound. Definitely worth a download and free to play with your NETFLIX subscription.

Please fix the "Achieve a win streak of any 60 puzzles" & "Win 60 consecutive puzzles." The game keeps resetting these achievements at 1 for no reason, and it's occurred 3 times. The second time I had a count of 57 and three puzzles later, I exited out to see why I hadn't received the achievements, and the count was at 1 again. It's super frustrating and discourages me from playing the game!

I'd rate this 5* if not for one thing. Players get extra points, and have daily tasks, for doing chains. The help section indicates chains are matching tiles of the same suits. However, there is absolutely no information that I can find as to WHAT THE SUITS ARE! And there are different themes of tiles so each theme needs to have the suits identified. I unlocked a Stranger Things theme and don't have a freaking clue what constitutes each suit. Pretty stupid leaving out need-to-know information.
