A large signal percentage meter. Smaller dbm numeric read out. Pay attention that you only hit install once or you will end up installing unwanted apps. Annoying "rate this app" popup. Other then that it's a very useful app.

Must of mit thought it was just another one of those apps that says anything; but was wrong after going from different rooms then turning it off & on it was giving a very good reading now can use the net sitting down instead of going in the door way or pointing at the top of our window trying to get a signal ππ very happy ππ

App works well using Android 10, accurate and easy to look at graphics. You can walk around checking signal strength and it shows you at a glance if your on 2.4 or 5 Ghz, your speed and channel. Will probably pay to loose the ads.

Really good. Use it for aiming wifi aerial for strongest signal and it works very well. Aerial fixed to a piece of tv serial tubing stuck in a small tube and held upright by dollop of concrete. Some material around pot makes it look acceptsble.Using 4g antenna with aerial on window ledge inside. Fitted to three Ubiquiti panels in loft. Guy who runs Ubiquiti. installers said he had never seen such s simple but highly effective system. Took photos because he was so entranced.

Works great. Accurate, and fastest results of any app I've tried. Best of all, does not ask for your location like most other apps. I figure location info is always nefarious, as why is ypur location needed to detect a wifi signal?

I don't like the advertising.. but that's what pays for the free app.... hence 4 stars. Easy to use, once you're past the ads... and analysed a friend's WiFi problem easily and visually so we now know how to solve it.

Solid app that runs smoothly and without failure. Its simpl and cut and dry. And thats exactly what I wanted. With a 3,000 soft house and running two wifi networks i was able to quickly find any spots with signal issues and move equipment to fill the gaps.

It does what I need without disruptive ads. I saw another app that measured all the wifi signals in range, which would have been better, but I couldn't break through the ads to get to the working part.

Works great, very easy to switch between WiFi networks and test. Real time meter adjusts as you move closer or away from router. Shows what channel is best, compare that to your router settings to be sure your getting there best strength.

Finally, a super solid wifi signal meter with an excellent, real time UI that quickly and easily allows you to simply walk around your house and see any potential problem areas. Lots of other signal meters do this, but none does it nearly as well or cleanly as this does.

The best one I have used so far, have used a lot of different one, but to me this one beat the lot and it is fast on detecting the signal as I have, dlan 500duo, and have been placing in the wrong place, now with this, I place the extender in the right place in a 3 storey house, now signal is 95 to 100% and fast switching when I moved around in the house, brilliant. Thank you.

Good tool if you need to check tour signal strength and stability, not a speed test

STUNNING!! It does what it says WELL, shows info (ip, channel, bit rate and frequency) all the time while a big CLEAR and RESPONSIVE needle shows exactly what's going on! I live on a boat between two wifi repeaters, the spot my range extender sat in was subject to sudden drop outs. Found the perfect spot for it. ALSO SHOWED WHEN IT CHANGED FROM 5 GHz TO 2.4 GHZ as I walked around. WILL BUY AD FREE COS YOU SAVED ME! I'M A SOFTWARE DEV AND APPRECIATE THE FUNCTIONAL FOCUS! THANKS GUYS!!! :)

We were having problems with our signal strength though out the house. Tried this app and found a lot of dead spots dropping down to 30%. Not knowing if the app was working properly we had a technician come in to see what's up. The tech. Found out that one receiver was not working properly and he replaced it & reset the main router and all the receivers. Now I have 95 to 99% and 85% in my garage. With out the app I would have lived with the dead spots. This app works excellent.

Good app, but when you have no location available on your android box but it still requires it or it won't get off the screen. Box uses the wifi for location. Even after it is granted zdx it still thinks it is not. You can make out signal strength and will work without location. Unless you are using maps, location is useless for this app. Give you a choice. If you don't use you should still be able to use the app based on signal strength

This is an excellent app and just what I needed for analyzing our different home floor levels for wi-fi signal strength. This a must use for medium to large homes for locating wi-fi dead spots. I'm planning on installing a wi-fi booster and this handy-dandy app is just what I need to locate the best place to install it. Hands Down, the best!

I have the paid version. Installed and works on my Motorola Z4 (Android 10) with no problem. Very cool ! But for some reason, on my new Samsung Chromebook, it keeps asking for Location permissions. BUT, i has that permission ! it's stuck in some sort of loop Any idea ? SUGGESTION: Show data for both 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz bands, instead of just the actual band currently connected to, assuming both bands are available. =====

I rarely review an app but this app need a 5 stars all the way. Simple to use with a simple meter that indicates right away if the peak or loss of the signal as you move around. Perfect for what my work of finding the best location for my wifi, it allowed me to locate it on a new spot and I was able to increase my signal almost 30%. Great job guys! π

I couldn't believe an app could actually work just like its supposed to but this one does. I live in an apartment complex that shares its wifi across all the buildings with five different access points. I just so happen to live in an unit that somehow none of the access points quite reaches my apartment very well. I try not to complain too much because it is free. But none the less I find myself maneuvering around my apartment holding my phone up in various places trying to pick up a signal.

Wow.. very nice! π The apps name is "WiFi Signal Strength Meter" ..And that is exaaaaactly what it does! Very user-friendly. A sleek look, with no superficial nonsense going on. As well, it allows you the choice (choiceS) of changing the background art with multiple "wallpaper" designs to choose from. (Neat little bonus!ππ) Functionality is 100% If you simply want to know the status of your WiFi strength, the TechSpecifics and the hot and cold spots will be revealed on the app. Top Shelf!
