Solid game. The restore function is sub-par though. I had a fairly advanced team a year ago before I uninstalled. Came back to play again with no recourse but to start over, since I did not write down a restore code from my original save progression. This has happened to me twice now. I build up my team and decide to stop playing for a while, then when I come back several months later I end up having to restart. Other games connect to Facebook accounts or gmail accounts to restore sacred data.

The game itself is fine, running with a pointless weeks system and alright battling gimmick (often requiring on skill and luck.) However, I learned that every time you use your restore code (used if you uninstall the game to get back your data,) it changes. This means my old restore code doesn't work, and I wasnt told to check my new one before temporarily uninstalling and reinstalling. Weeks of progress and good luck/harsh battles wasted. Why can't it have a normal login gimmick?

100/10, i would totally recommend this app. I love it, even though i don't like the art style for the humans that much (too realistic mixed with anime) i absolutely love the gameplay and the story, AND i love that this is a game that i can watch/ listen to YouTube in the background while casually playing! I also like how you have to develop strategies to defeat some characters! And the mechanics are nice so i don't accidentally summon 20 extra enemies. and I LOVE the art style for the monsters!

Ok after coming back to this game I've realized something...why is online mandatory? Like the monster for example after a certain point you can't train them any more unless you have a de-aging fruit which you can only get in online mode. Mega evolutions require evolution monsters which some are in story mode but your chances of them increase if you're in online mode. Plus a stamina bar(which I hate with a burning passion) that i don't understand why you'd implement that in this game. Oh wait $😑

I love the game experience, great story so far, and this is my 3rd day of having the game and suddenly I can't reach any online servers. This is highly inconvenient, and irritating. I've tried restarting my phone, looking for updates, and resetting our internet. But now all that my mind is leading to is their is something wrong with the game.

the game is so-so, it's a little clunky and it's controls is point and click. The battles get little tricky, because any monster you want to capture. You end up killing, it's horrible when you fight against ultra rare or special monsters. You'll end up with a piss poor teams and in ends up being a p2p again, if I didn't get this game free, I wouldn't pay for it. In other words, don't waste your money on this game. You can find better.

Nice try at a Pokemon/Final Fantasy style game but honestly the menu, battle animations and positioning of the battle characters are horrible! At least try and put them to make it look like they are facing eachother! Whats with the one on top of another looking complete opposite ways about? Needs a LOT of work. Traveling around the map is horrible!! The story seems to be interesting but the play style takes away from it.

I came into this game hopeful that there would be cool looking and strong monsters to collect and battle with, however it seems that the game went from what I expected to instead scantily dressed cartoon girls. Aside from that, the ui is pretty confusing trying to find things, or overly complicated. The online pages and hatching banners take a long time to load every indivual banner. The game could've been a cool monster catcher game but seems a bit outdated, and more of a cash grab now.

There are three things that kill this game. The first being the absurdly long amount of time it takes to unlock monster evolutions. I caught one of every creature I could at the time and maxed it's level before I unlocked super evolutions. The second being the difficulty extremes. You either stomp or get stomped 95% of the time. The last is the game has grown stagnant, the only new content that hits the scene is the new strongest monster, there's no low-mid tier content, only end-game.

The game's great overall. Great gameplay, but it requires massive party sizes. Monsters evolve several times, but it quickly becomes a chore. There is some gambling in it, which kind of sucked to me; Being a premium app that's also P2W... Knocking off all stars for that. Pick one, guys. Pay to Win or Premium. It's just a bad image for your business to do both, because it's not fair to people who buy your app that you put game changing units inside dolled up gambling software on a Premium App.

I really liked this games monster rancher/brave frontier thing, while the npc sprites were lacking and the dungeons and maps are a bit uninspired, the game feels rewarding to play. That is until the "de-aging" gimmick pops in to try and squeeze microtransactions out of you. After a while of training you realise you hit a pay wall only money or an OBSCENE amount of grinding can fix, grinding that requires you to wait hours for ticket refills, just so you can scrape past milestones. hard pass.

It's ok. The story is pretty straight forward. No option to actually explore, you just run the path given. Has a monster rancher feel but training is a pain to get points and trainer rank upgrades super slow. I get it's to set the limit of how many strong monsters you have but it's pretty limiting combined with the training points. Only way to get a lot of training points is to keep replaying online story mode, monster fights give you nothing. Overall, could have been better.

Don't get me wrong, its a fun game. But overall, I've spent more time looking at a screen that says "Connecting to server" than playing the actual game. Incredibly frustrating under any condition, but especially so when you use a key with a 12 hour cooldown to unlock a mission for an hour and the "online server is not available right now" for 4/5 of that hour.

I started this game offline, and it seemed to have a decent progression system but once I connected online, things went downhill fast. Overadvertising was the first problem, also every time you pressed any button, it took like 10 seconds to get past a "connecting to server" screen. Unbearable. Then, it notified me that I could get a Mythic creature for 40 gems, but only for the first 24 hours. I played non-stop but still couldn't get to 40 gems within 24 hours. No incentive to continue.Uninstall

This game is by far one of my favorite mobile games. The storyline could use some touching up but it's consistently challenging you so it's never easy. Moreover, rather than being based solely on luck like other games it shows a lot of strategic aspects. But some small issues are the keys, I understand where the Dev's are coming from with wanting the keys in the game yet they should be given to the player faster or be rewarded to the player in some difficult dungeon after reaching a certain rank

I recently began playing this game. I can appreciate the story and the gameplay mechanics but I do have a few issues with it. I was surprised to learn that you had to use -paid- gems instead of gems that you earn in game to hatch certain eggs. Also, every time I start the game I immediately get ads for in-game items. The starting menu is way too chaotic with all the buttons, advertisements, notification symbols, and options you can choose. Overall, it's fun but it can be annoying.

I have only played a few islands so far and the game isn't bad. It has a great art style and each monster does feel unique and their own. The story so far is a bit boring for me as it's kind of a twist but same plot as Pokémon, family member is a big shot monster trainer in his time and ect ect. Moving around the map can get frustrating but once you get use to it you seem to not notice it as much and it isn't really a problem. Unless your looking for extras and free stuff it's virtually ad free.

It's still an fun game that has a lot of mechanics I wish other mobile games would copy. It's generous with the ingame currency so that you can easily play without needing to spend money. two major complaints. the best tier of monster have a very low drop rate, which wouldn't be too much of an issue except that you have to get four of the same incredibly rare monster in order to achieve its final form. They've gone more into "sexy" monster girls which makes me unwilling to recommend the game.

Although it is a very good game, the data recovery system is... difficult at best. It is quite unintuitive and as someone who had previously invested a good deal of time into the game, only for all the progress to be deleted when transferring to a new phone, without a streamlined recovery is extremely frustrating. Regardless, it is an excellent game, and I generally would recommend it.

The differences in different assets and art is jarring.. and frankly very ugly. A lot of the overworld differences come across like they were all random asset packs cobbled together. The different artists they use for the monsters sometimes have quality differences too. There are a few that are very grainy in resolution. However, I like the combat system- it's a neat take on the 'monster battling' theme. The art is not enough to get me to stop playing, but it is very distracting.
