This app is excellent, if you are interested in space and space exploration. There is so much on it and lots of features and space photos to look at, that you probably wouldn't see elsewhere. The only thing I would like to see is perhaps a bookmark feature, that lets me save articles to read later. Some are quite long, so a saved articles feature that I can return to later would be good.

This application is useful and can show you plenty of content. The organization of content is confusing and boring. The whole thing is rather a badly realized directory structure. The information about images is grossly defective. The presentation is dazzling, hurting usability. The app lacks interactivity and control options. It lacks offline capabilities. It consumes Internet data like crazy, just for nothing. This application should be good, but it is really, really flawed.

Video player is ridiculously barebones and doesn't even have video resolution options. No playback speed options. It looks bad overall. Content is good, however.

Thank you! Thank you! The only problem that I had with v5.0 was the inability to use APOD as wallpaper. That's fixed in v5.0.5. I love this app! The APOD (Astronomy Picture of the Day) always provides great wallpaper. I also use it to keep up with what is happening at NASA.

Unfortunately not designed with Android in mind, mobile video player is not really usable, and apparently there is no Google TV app, nor can videos be casted from mobile/browser to the TV. Looking forward for the app to be updated in the future though.

I downgraded from 5 stars because the feature that allows it to change my home screen is not included anymore. You similarly had an app for my Fitbit. I loved that my Fitbit picture matched my cell phone home screen. Would super love the feature back.

Great app, if you have even a small interest in space exploration this app is a good start. For the developers attention, I use the app to track the ISS, the 2D map should display the orbital path as it does in the 3D view.

Most certainly the best app for an offical government branch of all time. Keeps up with ongoing space events, even at night. While also allowing us to see what would happen tomorrow, the next day, months, and even years from now.

Thank you for ALL of this! Amazing!! I love seeing the history of exploring Space, the moon, & all of deep space missions &the patience it took to go slowly, for the safety of all involved during the 1960s. Each step, the mission building on to the next one, practice, with training for the Next phase that will lead us on to summer of '69, and Apollo 11, and going All The Way to the surface of the moon. I sure followed every bit of the news of fabulous men like Thomas Stafford.

The app itself is beautifully designed, but has one fatal flaw (literally). When you set it to automatically change wallpaper, it crashes the phone. This time, my phone crashed so hard, I had to wipe it and do a clean install. Not the first time, or the first phone, either. DON'T INSTALL WALLPAPERS WITH THIS APP!

really love the app and all of its features. Especially the automatic cycling of images as wallpaper. But something happened and now no images cycle automatically. I am not sure what exactly is wrong with it but I suspect it to be my device (Galaxy S9). This was my favorite feature in the app and I definitely want to keep it that way.

I love the content, however scrolling through the articles can be awkward since the image is in a fixed position. This means no matter how much you scroll the image will always be present which leaves little room to read the text. I reccomend not making the image in a fixed position so we can scroll back up to see it if we want too. Other than that, I love everything else.

I love this app. I enjoy most of the Daily Images & the News articles, although if I've had issues with the links not working for articles that are 3-4 weeks old or older. Mainly it's just 1 article here or there from the 4 weeks old or older area where the links don't open, but it's not all the articles that old that don't work. Besides that minor issue this app is great!

I was wondering why my background hadn't changed in a while, seems they removed the feature in the last update. Bummer. Edit: reduced from two stars. A bug exists where once a notification has been turned on, it cannot be turned off. Uninstalled app because it serves no purpose any more and sends needless notifications.

I am thoroughly enjoying this app. The layout is amazing and fairly easy to navigate. of course the accessible Images are stunning along with the news updates on missions, launches etc. The only issue that I found was the Wallpapers and scternssvers BUT logged back in a few minutes later and do far it's fixed!! other than it's a great app. Graphics are really good. Would've been a 5Star if not for the wallpaper & screensaver problem still occurring

The video player straight up doesn't work, at least on Pixel 7 Pro. When you click to play a video, it's multiple clicks to start it, it opens up in a tiny box with the video not formated to fill it correctly, the full screen button does nothing and neither does rotating the screen. There are likely easy to implement video players that are better and I will be happy to change my review once this is fixed.

I really like this app. There is this new feature that i like, if you go under the images section. An click on one of the images, there's a little heart button to save that image. So if you back out of that image, the heart button is in the same area. An when you click it, it takes you to all the images you saved. When i try to go back to the images i saved, it takes me to a blank screen. Which sucks because i lost a lot of pictures that i liked, an now their hard to find. Please fix this.

I hate to give this a negative review, but the NASA+ experience is really bad on mobile. The content is BRILLIANT, but the way it's presented is unusable. Instead of a native video player, they've made a window to display the desktop browser player, but the video res is bigger and wider than the window, so a good part of the image and access to the controls is cut off. Worse, there is no way to watch full screen and no Android TV support. 🙁 I'd easily give this 5 stars if they can fix all that.

I'm honestly surprised at how smooth the app runs, how easy it is to navigate around, and how good it looks. I like to keep up with new technologies and enjoy good photos, which previously I used the nasa gov website for, and this app has really taken that baton and run with it. Very well done. I see other reviews mentioning the video player - I have not used this for more than the livestream for the Bennu sample collection, so I honestly can't speak to that.
