this app has been treating me real well so far. the UI is a little clunky and i wish i didn't have to locate/figure out which stop i'm at whenever i click a route just to see when the next bus/train is coming. also wish that the NICE bus schedules were available. once the detestable parts are taken care of, it'll it'll be the perfect app.

This app so far is very well round it. It gives me all the information i was looking for, for the subway and buses in NYC. It has been accurate and also you can set up allerts. If you know how to send pictures on your phone you will figure out how to use the app stting to customize your needs. I don't think there is a better app than this one. It is simple but has everything you need to use the NYC transportation. Great job

The first time I purchased I had an issue where the ads still kept showing. The developers jumped right on it when I contacted support, happy report in the latest update the issue is resolved. I'll be buying the yearly subscription next month to show my support. It's always good to see active developers who respond to the needs and complaints of their consumers. Great job

I downloaded this for a long weekend in Manhattan and it was fantastic. My favorite aspects were the directions (so you knew what your options were even when certain trains or stops weren't operable) and the ability to see the next and subsequent times for arrivals at a particular station. Will definitely use next time we're back.

As a tourist,it wasn't easy to use. To be honest, Google maps had clearer less ambiguous directions... But the NYC signage could also be improved, both in the tunnels and on the platforms. There were several occasions we had to double back and hike up to another platform because direction and destinations weren't clear. I'm headed home now, and don't have advice on how to fix it, but the app just didn't work well for me.

This app used to be nice. I liked it. But now? It's not good. There needs to be some kind of update asap. It takes FOREVER for the schedules to load especially when I'm trying to compare which bus is coming faster to get to and from work. Then if it does load, all the buses say no current trip which is absolutely inaccurate. Fix the app. It was a good one.

Best app so far for service alerts and subway maps. Very helpful when there are transit problems, which is way too often. They just need to add a security feature so passengers report the car number and train when you see a violence person and get a rapid response. Too many characters riding our subways and the MTA needs to provide better solutions.

great app for navigating NY public transit system. was here for a week and know how to get along. loved the start and end point map! improvements: would be nice to have directions on how to get to transfers in the larger staying ie: go up 2 levels to get to the X Subway look for signs to Brooklyn; and an in transit search. Sometimes i would exit out of the app to check on something or do something else and would go back to the app to find my current plan was no longer there.

Everything a NYC commuter needs (almost*), including offline maps and point to point directions, and designating bus or subway stops as favorites for in motion adjustments and in the moment decisions, among so many. About that * .... The missing link is the NJ Transit options: PATH, NJT busses and trains... I know it's more data and potentially a bloat on the app, but all the features are there... just...a few more deets. Ohh.. and ferries, yes water transports would make this *THE* app..

The best app so far. Using it for NYCT and it haven't disappointed yet. It works as if you was on the platform checking the time table. Cool options as "schedule, alerts and favorites " makes it incredibly useful, powerful and user friendly at the same time. Adds are there but never interfere or obstruct the actual app and interface. Great job team 👏

The MTA app for Android is not up to par. They should integrate onto the map and schedule what stops are closed instead of listing the streets. Who remembers that? Not intuitive or visually helpful. I shouldn't have to toggle between the ugly looking pages that they made for the alerts, maps, and stops to plan my trip. Those extra couple minutes browsing are the difference between catching and missing a transfer.

It's okay. I've noticed incorrect arrival times for buses and trains, or sometimes the arrival time will change from 10 min to 7 to 5 and then back up to 12 minutes. It's not accurate. It also can't find your current location unlike many other map apps. Also, it gives the incorrect location for some addresses. Like, a park near my house is located at 1020 st. But this app marks the park as being at 999 st. I don't know how to report this.

Absolutely a must have for visitors! We went to NYC for a couple days and had many places to visit. I found this on the store and tried it out. This app is amazing, and free! Very easy to use, go to Directions and mark where you are (uses location) and search where you want to go (address, business name, area of NYC, etc.) and the app shows you where to walk to the nearest station, which train to get on, and WHICH DIRECTION. Tells you how many stops and where to go once you get there.

I've been using this app for about a year now and it's hands down the best mta transit app out there. It has everything you need. You can quickly access the nyc subway map. You can save your favorite lines and stops to quickly see the times. It shows when all the trains are scheduled to arrive within the day. The times are accurate and it shows all the alerts. I have no complaints. I even checked on an iPhone to see if it had the same app and it didn't. None came close to this. Great work 👍

This app has been as close to perfect in displaying the actual and estimated times for arriving and departing buses and trains. I use this app frequently. I have tried other apps before using My Transit NYC. Now I am a loyal customer. Recently I had an issue where my favorites were not displaying at all. "No current trips" showed up for a few days. I relayed this information to the technicians. Not only did they respond that there was indeed an issue, they fixed the problem quickly. Great customer service, great follow up and resolution. Thank you.so much.

I don't mind paying a reasonable price for a well-designed app, but an annual fee that I have to keep paying (and keep track of) just for a simple app to keep working, is ridiculous! I can't even test out the pro features to see if I like the way schedules are shown, compared to the free app I currently use. Also, the map loads very slowly..

The app is good to check on real time bus and subway arrivals, but it still has to improve on performance status and updates. There should also be improvement on the trips feature. Unless I put in an actual address as a starting point, the trip feature is simply useless. -------------------------------------------------------------- 10/28/18: Here's an update to the comments above. Checked on the directions feature. Definitely a good improvement from the last time. Thank you

App works well, provides all necessary essential information relating to travel. The subway map also needs to be updated, cause of ongoing track improvements, the current map doesn't reflect the changes on the F line. My only issue is when you search for it on Play Store it shows 2 different ver of same app. One with ads & one without, but no matter which one you select it ends up installing the ver with ads. Fix this cause it's misleading.

Great app overall, I find the interface mostly pretty functional and useful. But it's extremely annoying that every time I open up a line I don't use regularly there's a popup begging me to turn on notifications. I realize that I can turn on notifications for a line and don't need to be constantly reminded.

I like the app because it does everything I need and works on my slow phone, but my biggest issues are that I can't refresh the directions without exiting back to the "input address" screen and there's no indication of the stops along the route. Other apps, like Transit, use little dots along the route to indicate the stops and those are pretty helpful. If you could fix those issues, you would get 5 stars from me.
