More About MyTherapy Pill Reminder

MyTherapy medicine reminder and medication tracker Our pill reminder app reliably reminds you to take your tablets, pills, and other medication, vitamins, or supplements at the scheduled time. With the medication tracker and pill counter, you always have a good overview of your treatment, your recorded intakes, and your stock.
You can schedule reminders to record your weight, blood pressure, blood oxygen, blood sugar and other vital health metrics. You can track these metrics directly in the MyTherapy treatment tracker to see how your weight, blood pressure, etc. develop over time. Together with the pain diary and mood tracker, this forms a good basis for discussions with your doctor and pharmacist regarding any medical condition, ranging from migraines to ADHD.

💡 Easy to set up: Simply type in your medication or search our drug database to set your medicine reminder to any time or cycle you need and even set different times for the weekend.

⏰ Medication reminder: A reliable – perhaps even (positively) annoying – pill reminder for taking your medication, tablets, and pills on time. A practical med timer for anyone taking regular medications, with an insightful medication tracker accompanying the medicine reminders.

📉 Weight control and blood pressure: Reminder for 20+ measurements with the option of recording your weight or the measurement such as blood pressure and blood oxygen. Measurements are recorded in the health diary alongside the medication tracker.

🛒 New package: When you confirm your medicine reminder, the pill counter checks the current stock of tablets and gives you a prescription reminder to refill your pill pack. This way our medicine app helps you remember to order your next prescription in time by tracking your confirmed pill reminder intakes.

📝 Pain diary and mood tracker: Reminder for documenting symptoms to recognize patterns and check whether your medication is working properly. With the simple pain scale, you can differentiate between the frequency and intensity of your pain, e.g., for migraines or rheumatism.

📊 Monthly overview: By using our medicine tracker, you automatically maintain your personal treatment tracker. The documentation of tablet intake in the pill tracker and - if required - weight, blood pressure, and symptoms form the basis for discussions with the doctor and pharmacy and can easily be exported in PDF from the health diary.

💉 Injection site reminder: People who inject medicines should change their injection sites regularly. Relevant for many diabetes, multiple sclerosis, and obesity medications, among others.

👨‍⚕️ Appointments reminders for doctor’s visits: Our medication reminder app also helps you with the management of your doctor’s appointments. In addition to the medicine reminder functionality, you can easily set up a medical appointment reminder and prescription reminders.

📚 Proven effectiveness: Clinical studies with Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin prove the positive effect of the MyTherapy medicine tracker for people with diabetes and high blood pressure, among others.

🏆 First place in the German Health Award from news channel N-TV and the German Institute for Service Quality (09/2023) for our med timer.

If you are looking for a multifunctional pill counter that delivers reliable medicine reminders, tracks important information in a treatment tracker, reminds you when its time to re-plenish your medication stock, and allows you to track your measurements like blood pressure or blood oxygen, look no further.

Download the MyTherapy pill tracker today and begin using a reliable pill reminder and medicine tracker (also ideal for birth control reminders or as a pain medication tracker).

Effective and easy to use. I enter my medication, quantity and time to take it and I'm all set. It reminds me repeatedly 😂 until I either snooze or confirm or I can go into the app itself to skip a dose. This helps me let go of the worry "did I take that?" It also gives me warnings when I'm running low, you get to set the inventory threshold. Great feature for medications that may require authorization. Love this pill counter and medication management app.

The app was fine prior to this last update. Notes section isn't really necessary. What I find really irritating is that I had a certain sound set for taking my meds. I do this to differentiate from other notifications. Your update overrides my chosen sound notification with the Mytherapy notification. I don't like it & your I.T. Dept needs to fix this bug.

Perfect for those with ADHD! Being diagnosed with something that requires multiple medications throughout the day, this app has helped me tremendously. Being able to track each and everyone of them, from daily reminders to current pill inventory numbers, and even upcoming appointment reminders. I have recommended this app to pretty much everyone.

I am reminded of my medication by the pill counter within the app. I find it easy to tally my pills, and add to my data as needed. There is even a reminder in the pill counter for you to obtain new pills or adjust your count, if you didn't put in the correct total. This app keeps me on target, especially with medication that has to be taken at times different from the rest. Highly recommend this app.

This is a very good app that keeps track of medication time and inventory and issues repeated reminders when the inventory needs to be replenished. The main reason for my selection of this app is that it's clean, and it doesn't make life miserable with ads. An update: The changes made during the last few months are not good. The app was good the way it was a year ago. Why are all these interface changes? Please go back to the way the app was last year. You have lost another star in my rating.

why did you remove options for setting-up a notification sound on this app??? That was the biggest reason why I used your up, because i can set up a different sound from all other notifications for the pills take a time. Now, this program is useless for me because I don't know if some social media, news, or text messages, or pills are. sucks.

I've been using this app for about 2 years (I think) and I really do like it. Please don't take the classic color (teal/aqua) away. The red is so harsh. Red is very much associated with being wrong/error. It's a deterrent so I'm glad I was able to keep the classic colors. Please don't permanently make it red 🥲

*edited August 10, 2024 from 5 stars to 3 stars* 1. The new theme is not great. The red coloring is aggressive and angry looking. 2. Frequently malfunctioning. When I change the start time of meds, the app automatically changes the frequency. For example if I take a medication every 3 hours, and then I change the start time from 7am to 8am, the app auto-changes it to every 6 hours. I've missed medicine because of this error. Needs to be fixed ASAP.

Edit 8/10: I REALLY dislike the new color scheme. The blue color was unique and much better on the eyes. Different than other apps I've tried that just send a normal notification. This app sends a normal notification and a big box that appears on your screen so you can't just swipe it away. It really has helped me remember to take my medications

Update I used to love this app until the newest update. Occasionally when I open the app it stops working - it shows the opening page and doesn't go any further. There's nothing to click on there's nowhere to go. I've tried clearing the cache but nothing seems to work with it. If this continues I will uninstall *** It's now been a year that I've been using this app and w/ a new treatment that has to be done. three times a day I have found great need for this. Great app and very useful.

August 7, 2024: The latest update has improved the bad animations; they are much faster now. Snooze button also fixed so it is easier to select the available snooze time option. "Personal Notes" still clutters up screen- can't figure out why I would need it. Still don't need to see my dosage with my reminder list. Can't see more than 2 or 3 meds on the screen for an alarm time. Can't disable new "features." Can't set custom snooze duration. Improved some of what was broken by last update.

I do like how the upgrade has unique photos as a "reward" for checking off your daily reminders. And I like that the photos can be saved. But I'd like it if a history of my reward photos could be accessed for when I check off my day but forget to view the reward. Otherwise, since the new updates the app has become very cluttered with popups, marketing, sales attempts, "profiles", and other features that are useless to me. These are making the app troublesome and useless to me altogether.

I've found the app to be helpful. A recent change has made it very difficult to add refills to my inventory, and I'm very frustrated. Also, the reminder snooze feature needs to be customizable. Update 8/17/2024: The issue with refills has been resolved. The app runs smoothly, and they have added a daily note section that I wish could be turned off or shrunk smaller when not used. Overall I find the app to be fantastic, and after several years of use I am very happy with it.

Going through emergency situations had me so distracted. Having the mytherapy medication log/ pill counter made it easy for medical personnel, caregivers, family and friends to quickly know what medications I was on at any given time. Also the ability to see what tests had been done as well as monitor oxygen levels, temperature, blood pressure and so much more. All from my phone I carry around with me.

This app has helped immensely with remembering to take my pills; I'd give five stars, but along with recent UI changes came the loss of dual notification sounds. I had an intense alarm for "wake up and don't die" meds and a calm, soothing alarm for " maybe think about easing into bed soon" meds. Now I only have one or the other. I recognize it was probably an Android change that took it away, but idk a better way to make my gripe known than here, where I'm directly affected.

This app has helped me so much! I think it is probably one of the best, most useful apps I have ever downloaded. Thank you for coming up with such a useful tool that can help so many people. I am impressed with the number and type of activities that can be tracked and the charts that go along with it. All for no cost, no ads, and no paywall. I tried several and by far this is the best tracker. An option for reminders to always be on top and full screen would make it perfect; but great as is

3* 8/8/24: It wasn't broken! New color scheme is awful - fluorescent green and brown (night)? The old teal looked sophisticated. Personal notes after every med is useless! Instead of seeing my meds on one page, I have to scroll and scroll now. There should be an option to turn that off. The repeated pics. Ugh! Can't alter dosages now. Must create new med. No longer easy - set up is tedious. 5* 4/4/19: Absolutely rely on this app. It's never failed me. Very easy to use and set up. Thanks!

I liked this app until a recent update. They added a "skip" button on notifications that is very easy to accidentally hit instead of "30 minutes later". If you accidentally hit Skip you will not get any more notifications. This button should not be on the pop up notifications. Too easy to miss a dose. If you can skip doses you probably don't need to be using this app.

Updated 8/19/24: Recent changes are really annoying: to change actual dose, need to delete default and enter new instead of the + and - buttons. Very annoying since my daily insulin is slightly different every day; the animation that comes up when complete a medication is cute but tedious when you see it 5 times in a row, should be able to disable in settings; finally, it's ignoring the notification sound I set and just going with the default MyTherapy sound. But otherwise very useful app.

I have been using this app for so long, and I loved it until the recent update. The color scheme was great before, but now it is harsher on the eyes. The animations after everything single medication is just annoying and unnecessary. Now, I can't even change the notification sound, and as someone who gets used to sounds easily, I keep missing it. Bring back the ability to change the sound. Overall, you had a great app, but you ruined it. I will be looking for another one. Such a shame.
