After playing True Fear, this is a bit let down. The graphics are a lot less crisp and lower resolution. The sound is a lot less ambient. Despite that it is a decent adventure, although it is quite hard to find objects due to the low quality graphics.

It is much shorter and less developed than the True Fear series. I don't care much for the type of hidden object games in this game. This game is more hidden object finding than puzzle or adventure. Still worth playing, since it had a bit of the True Fear feel to it.

I agree with most of the other reviews. The storyline is good (but short). It just seems like this one was rushed. The graphics are terrible, and I had a really hard time seeing objects and clues. I just wish it was longer and more put together like the True Fear games.

This game cannot be compared to the others made by the same team( like true fear). Too easy, obvious solutions and mainly the same puzzle repeated over and over again, a picture with many objects and you are trying to complete a list of them so you can find the one you need to move on. Very disappointing!

Good story line, but graphics are disappointing. It is more block like so it's a bit distracting. Other then that, I think it's pretty good, wish it doesnt seem rushed. Loved the first 2, graphics were good same with story line. Not this one though, good, but NOTHING like the first 2.

This is entertaining so far. There are a lot of Hidden Object mini games but I like them. Its fun yet a little challenging. Maybe too easy for some. I'd give it a 3 on a scale of 1-5 for difficulty. But again, its perfect for what I'm looking for! Very affordable to buy the whole game! Great job developers!

I'm super surprised that this is by the same company that did True Fear. True Fear is excellent. Mystery Valley not so much. There is a massive hole in the game where it skips several parts of the story. Very disappointing. Definitely check out True Fear 1 and 2. You will not be disappointed. Edited to add: my phone is not old, it's up-to-date with all security and OS updates. It's the game that's the issue.

The game was great as was the story. I only have two criticisms. One, it was dark so the search and gind was difficult and I ended up just tapping all over the place to collect the objects. Two, while the story was great the ending felt rushed and unfulfilling. I was left going, "That's it?" Over all, though, great game and I look forward to your new games.

update 2/6/24: Still said bug in app. i can finally get True Fear Games to open. They are so amazing that i can play them over and over!!! I can't play any digital lounge games! I had an issue trying to play True Fear 1 &2. I've been in contact and my phone error says it's a bug the programmer needs to fix. I have room on my phone. Not sure what is going on, I don't want bugs. I truly love their games.

Found it to be a let down, compared to True fear 1 and 2. I am such a huge fan of those games, i felt i had to sample any games from this developer but i was disappointed. The plot was meh, the graphics were terrible and except for hidden object mini games, there wasnt much by way of puzzles. Even the ending was abrupt! It just was not my cup of tea. Will definitely try anything they decide to make in the future

Just a demo!! And even then way too short!! Let's you see 3 rooms and all objects to find are obvious. Don't even get into the story before it ends and then gets you to pay to buy full version. Their other game is much better, let's you play for a long time to get into the story and then asks you to buy full game. Which I would on other game. But not this one as I don't really know what it's about. Cut sences are good. But want more gameplay and puzzles to solve to get me interested in continuing playing. Especially if they want me to buy full game.

Oh Mystery Valley. 😑 So the story ends up kinda cool, though badly written. It's like a B-movie with good ideas and not much else. Dumb fun. But you know those scenes in B-movies where it's too dark to see what's going on? And the movie has so many plot holes that it falls apart and is truly awful? That's the game part of Mystery Valley. The hidden object scenes are either murky and indistinct, riddled with mistakes and broken logic, or both. I'm just glad Goblinz games have been non-HO since.

I play escape room adventure games all the time and this one is pretty good! Scenes are a little dark and since the graphics aren't the greatest quality the hidden picture puzzles are a little difficult to see. Other than that I'm enjoying the game very much... especially for only $.99!!!!

I didn't get to truely play enough to decide i want to purchase even though in the description it doesn't say try a small bit of the game and unlock the full game from within. It gets you with the " try this adventure full of puzzles with a great story for free". I like games that one give you enough free play to decide on a purchase and two directly tell you the full game is unlocked from within.

I really liked True Fear I & II (played straight thru, creepy as hell), but this was a bit disappointing. Blurry graphics. Only got to the weird old house before it started looping me in the basement and couldn't get anywhere beyond that. Tried getting hints, but it kept telling me to go back and forth - not helpful even though I was tapping on everything to try and find what I needed to proceed. I'll feel really dumb and up my rating a bit if I missed something, but I had to uninstall.

The game was really good. A far cry from True Fears graphic wise but I really enjoyed it regardless of that. 5/5 Stars out of me. I'll keep watch over the creator of this game. looking forward to more content being created. I would say the only 1 con I have about the game was the graphic quality of find the hidden objects. The quality is pretty low. Makes it hard to see objects so I'd advice just click randomly around the screen until you have a few object left then find those.

While things game isn't nearly as good as the True Fear games, it's still worth playing. Yes, graphics are a bit blurry and dark, and the gameplay isn't that great, the story is ok, and since it is so cheap, I didn't mind paying for it. I hope the devs continue their awesome work, as I'm very much looking forward to seeing their next installment!

Didn't bother buying the game because the graphics were so bad in the VERY short free version. Cut scenes were ok/good but the rest of the time everything's so blurry and vague looking, like a faded waterlogged photo, which resulted in way too much random clicking. Tedious and annoying. For these reasons and more the game seems like it was rushed with most of the developers time spent on cut scenes. Coming from the makers of True Fear I expected a much better game than this waste of frustration.

Great use of balance! 3.5 stars for dev! Example, dev' only charges a one-time reasonable fee, giving you a chance to try the game before deciding to pay. You're also free to game w/out In-app-ads. Also you can choose your level of difficulty. These games also have well-thought-out plots, too. The only fault I can find with this game is when the dev remastered it he/she didn't sharpen old images you find inside spaces. Overall, good fun & engaging game!

I like the True Fear series but this one seems a bit rushed in comparison. It needs more polish. Some observations: -The text and fonts look like a text box was simply add to a picture. These games have a lot of text so it becomes noticable over time. -The environments look crowded but are less interactive (can't click on much.) -Needs the ability to show what is clickable when you push on the screen, especially since the background aren't as clear. Maintain the standard you guys already set.
