The devs have resolved the log in timeout issues I was facing with incredible speed. Works perfectly. All I could ask for in a transit app. One extra star for the cute jumping orca loading screen spinner.

Find the website and app very difficult to navigate. It almost feels like it is difficult on purpose. I use metro access and cannot find where to pay for my monthly pass..... i did email them and ask for guidance to find the metro access pass and never got a repy

Did not add a monthly pass after card info was given twice. No notice of failure or anything. So when trying as a guest didn't work, I attempted to create an account to link the card to. Could not select recovery questions at all and could not continue without. Might work better if I create an account on my computer first. But for now, just walking to a machine and loading it in person would have saved me time and money.

I really did not expect this app to be this good. It ran smoothly, no strange errors, it just worked. I'm sure bugs will appear, but the interface is straightforward and simple. Huge improvement over the old system!

Folks forget this is to review the APP, NOT a particular driver, coach, line, route or job application: Ignore those. The app works fine, is easy, terminals to use it are convenient to the routes I travel. No fishing for or counting change.

I'd already boarded the train to Seattle when I realized that I'd left my ORCA card at home. No worries, I think, I'll just install the ORCA app and use it to pay my fare, just like you can do with the HOP app in Portland. And yes, you can see your ORCA card in the app. You can see your balance and verify that you have auto-reload set. What you cannot do, however, is to use the funds on that card to pay bus fare.

nothing works. an incredible joke of app team must have come up with this fiasco. 12 captchas to sign up and can't link my card. uninstall.

App is garbage. Incredibly cumbersome to navigate this is what happens when taxpayer dollars are trying to be justified. There's way too much stuff and no substance.

I can't even sign up for an Orca account to get into the app. Every time I hit "Sign Up," it refreshes the page and doesn't proceed. It's not because of the password or security questions.

I uploaded the app and entered credit card info, but can't figure out how to use it to pay for a light rail or bus ride. Instructions are desperately needed!

Doesn't matter what card I use, I can't add passes to my Orca Card through the app. It just keeps saying transaction failed.

FYI it is the year 2024, why aren't orca passes available to purchase ...online?? Without having to ship a physical card first? No, adding to Google wallet doesn't work, orca does not show up. My address is correct. Get with the times, I'm just trying to prepare to take the bus for a few days while my car is in the shop and your website is not very user friendly, the guides and information are outdated, not to mention.there's no way to add money on advance digitally w/o having a card first. Dumb

I have an account from the Orca website but it doesn't recognize my password. I've tried resetting my password but the app doesn't recognize my only email address. I've tried the Sign Up option but the final submission button is inactive. None of the prompts are telling me I'm doing anything wrong and I've triple checked my inputs. I've even tried shutting down the app and the reopening it with no luck.

It was pretty easy to set up an account and add my ORCA card. Good to see a 1-day PugetPass option that works across most agencies (including Metro and SoundTransit) included here for $8. I hope future versions of the app also allow us to buy one-off tickets we can use even without ORCA cards: today the TransitGo app does that, but ideally instead of having separate apps to buy daily or monthly passes (myORCA) and to buy tickets (TransitGO) there would just be one fare media app that supports all of the different scenarios for buying and using fares (whether you have an ORCA card or not). Also looking forward to future integration with Google Pay.

Convenient management of many account features. The only downside is the developer's lack of a thorough knowledge of Android app development. Small things were missed in a couple places, the most obvious being the app's inability to handle hardware and software Android back button commands to exit the app. Will modify my review if fixed.

The ability to add value to your e-purse in real time or buy a pass in the app is a massive improvement over the old website, and frankly should have been part of the system from the beginning. App is remarkably smooth and responsive for a government project. Unfortunately, despite what some reviews here claim, the ability to use the app with NFC in place of a physical card is not yet there (vaporware?). Not much reason to keep this on your phone vs. bookmarking the website but it's cute.

The myORCA app is a welcome addition to public transit in the area. It's been a long time coming but it is such a well designed & functional app that it was kind of worth it. I do, however, wish I didn't have to sign in everytime I make a purchase because it's a little nerve-wracking when I notice last minute that I need to reload my wallet or buy a pass and I'm about to board the bus/link.

The app works better than the actual site! I can log in with my email and password on the app, but going on a desktop or laptop and logging in through the browser with the same email and password doesn't work and using my security questions to change the password don't work because the answers to my security questions are wrong despite the fact I know the answers and have them saved on a piece of paper in my lock box. Normally I have issue in reverse order

The app is fast and easy to use. Does everything I expected it to based on the launch website. Note for the developers: the description of physical card in the app states: "Physical cards are plastic. Virtual cards are stored in your phone's wallet app. Want to convert your physical card to virtual? Tap the Actions tab." However, I don't think that action is available yet. The description text should probably say that the virtual wallet cards are "coming soon" or something like that

Like many other reviewers I sort of can't believe how well this works and how fast it works. It is so much more functional and easy to use than the old system that I could cry. I couldn't even access my account on the old site for like a year because I went to report my orca card as lost, but my password had expired, and to regain access to my account I needed my card number which... you got it... was lost! This app fixes literally all of those problems with one great UI. I am healed. Lol
