May 2024 Followup: App working well now. Animate button working as expected. Not getting crashes I saw before. Very happy! Big fan of myNoise. The app, however, is challenging. I'm having to connect to bluetooth only after I've started playing a sound. With BT connected at startup, the app crashes. Also, not finding slider animation. Kinda the point. Else I'd use the browser version. Happy to support, but would be great if these two items were resolved.

I have been a long time user and supporter of the mynoise website. This app is a fantastic adaptation of what's available on the site! I'm looking forward to playing with the mobile only features, like the alarm! Anyway thank you, as always, for your hard work and dedication to sharing your passion with all of us! EDIT: Quick request. The fade out for the timer seems to slowly fade until it reaches half the volume, then suddenly cuts out. Is there a way to adjust that curve?

2024 update. The new app is fantastic! I think it's been completely rebuilt. It definitely has no stability issues or other performance hangups - it just works! Same amazing sound options as the website and a very slick interface to save your common listens. Highly recommend, I use it nearly every day. Love these noises! Simply the best collection around. One star off because the app has occasional stability issues and would really benefit from additional features. Highly recommend anyway.

By far the best white noise app there is. The ability to customise your sound using a ten band equalizer is unmatched. The website has saved my sanity countless times and now the app can too! Very special thanks to Rémy for replying so quickly to a technical problem I had and fixing it instantly!

Happy to show support for this project. The new update looks great, is certainly better to navigate on mobile than the website, and has a healthy array of sounds available, with or without premium. It isn't flawless; I experienced crashes by interacting with certain elements in the interface (timer, pausing outside of the default menu). However, the bugs don't affect core functionality, and with how new this version is, I have faith that they will soon be resolved in future iterations.

Freezes and crashes constantly with every attempted use. You will be very irritated to have spent money, and then have the app hang frozen all the time for long periods while loading, or crashing instead of loading. Stick to the website. App is strictly worse with less features. Just figure out how to keep your browser from auto optimizing/closing, and you're golden.

The new version of the app is incredible. The level of customization is fantastic. Animating soundscapes enhances immersion. You can set a timer at the end of which the sound will fade out, great for meditation, focus, relaxation. I initially had some trouble converting over my purchases to the new version of the creator of the app and website help me out and he is awesome. Fully support this app & the good that it does for its users.

Been using this app for 6 years and I've seen it undergo a lot of improvement and development. I was here when there were about 6 sounds. It's gotten so dynamic with a big library!! And now they offer a free trial of premium. I would usually use the free white noise sound to lessen my tinnitus. You can adjust the different levels so that each sound has more tenor or more bass, plus presets! With the huge variety of soundscapes, I see potential to use this as a kind of auditory "vision board"!

I really have enjoyed this app for a long time and debated on buying the full version but I'm glad I didn't. I don't know at what point this happened but now leaving it on overnight even on my charger, I wake up with my battery at around 70 to 80%. My phone did give me a notification that it's using an excessive amount of battery which makes zero sense, and again this is with my phone on the charger all night. Guess it's back to the drawing board for a good white noise app.

Worked pretty well except for random stutters even with memory mode turned on. Now it stops every 2-3 minutes, even though background usage is allowed. I've tried clearing cache as well; no improvement. Currently unusable. Update: Once I stopped using the animate feature, the sound doesn't turn itself off. Update 2: Wow! The app team has been super responsive and friendly in following up on my review. They've made it clear they appreciate their users and they're hard at work on a fix.

There was a bug in the most recent update, I contacted the devs and they let me know they were working on a fix within a day. this app does what no other I have found does with fully customizable noise machines that can be a huge life saver if you're someone with sensory issues! The soundscapes this app offers are out of this world, i use this app as inspiration while writing and to block out excess noise.

I was ready to drop money on it but wanted to test it first. Welp, every third or fourth night it just silences itself, which wakes me up. I was going with it to see if this recent update addressed that instability. Now, it is muted entirely. I've checked the system volume, app volume... the app is now muting itself and I can't get *any* sound. I can tap on the sound file, and it says it's playing, but nope. Do not recommend at all.

I love this app. I truly do. however y'all gotta fix choppy Bluetooth audio. I don't know whats wrong, but it's happened on different devices across different brands with different speakers. I even have fiddled with various power saving settings and it still happens. Even still, the sounds are calming and help me fall asleep. 3.5/5

Really worth getting the premium version and unlocking all soundscapes! There are so many of them, and each comes with presets (including the option to save user presets). Customization is also easy because EQ bands are labeled so it's very user friendly to obtain custom soundscapes. I mostly use it for sleep or ambient, with a Bluetooth speaker - definitely a superior setup to any white noise machine. As a fan of sound in general I'm not exaggerating when I say I love this app.

The content is amazing the app is trash. I am still giving it 4 stars because of the artistry in the sounds and how they are divided up like an EQ. I really benefit from the sounds. However, I wish the developer would take a good look at the website so they can see the mess they have going on here on Android. The app at best is lacking the same love, heart and soul. The webpage works, this app sometimes does but not always. You can't mix sounds. Yeah, the webpage rocks always compared to this.

I love this app. I am on the spectrum and this is a godsend. I need sounds to calm me down or sleep, etc. Sometimes I like something but think "if only that one tiny sound wasn't there". On here you can adjust the sounds/noises. I love the variety. I love everything about this app! The creator is also very accessible and helpful/listens to feedback

Life-changing app for neurodiverse folks like me. It has become a daily companion. myNoise runs on donations and subscriptions only, is done by one very dedicated guy and his son, and does not annoy you, bomb you with notifications, or show ads. I hope the project continues on for a long time to come and I am proud to pay to support it. Try it with a variety of headphones and speakers. While it definitely changes the sound reproduction, I also enjoy using it with open-ear style earbuds.

An exemplary white noise/ soundscape app with randomized variance that even a neurodivergent wont find the loop on. with incredibly high quality sound, new scapes all the time, and a dev that genuinely cares and responds, this app is the most genuine 5/5 Ive ever reviewed. I use this to help with sleep, meditate, or even block out loud situations. It's been with me for half my life at this point, and heres to many more years!

I use this app nearly every day to help me focus, drown out background noise, and get to sleep when my mind won't quiet down. For how often I listen to the nature soundscapes, it was well worth the fee. I did run into the issue where disconnecting my Bluetooth headphones made the app stop playing sounds, but the latest update fixed that. Thanks!

the sounds, especially white noise, are absolutely amazing. even if you're a shallow sleeper, you'll drift away in minutes. I really really really wish I could use a different soundscape as an alarm sound. the one that puts me to sleep is not as effective as a wakeup sound... thank you for this app and your replies! I truly appreciate both!
