The MyNISSAN App is designed to help you get the most out of your vehicle and overall ownership experience. It brings remote access, security, personalization, vehicle information, maintenance, and convenience features from your Nissan to your compatible Android phone or Wear OS.
The MyNISSAN App is available for use by all Nissan owners, though the experience has been optimized for vehicles 2014 and later. The complete MyNISSAN experience is available for owners with an active NissanConnect® Services Premium package, on select models 2018 and newer.* For a complete list of available features for your specific vehicle, visit owners.nissanusa.com
The following MyNISSAN features are available to all Nissan owners and vehicles:
• Manage your Nissan account and preferences
• Make a service appointment with your preferred retailer****
• Receive notifications for applicable vehicle recalls or service campaigns
• View your vehicle’s service history and maintenance schedule
• Connect to Roadside Assistance
With a compatible vehicle, you can:
• Remotely start and stop your vehicle**, lock and unlock vehicle doors, and activate horn and lights
• Search for, save and send points of interest to your vehicle
• Check vehicle status (doors, engine, mileage, remaining fuel range, tire pressure, oil pressure, airbags, brakes)
• Locate your vehicle
• Keep tabs on your vehicle with customizable boundary, speed and curfew alerts***
Vehicle trims with Google built-in** have additional accessibility, including:
• Remote vehicle climate adjustment
• Remote engine start
• Receive notifications if you’ve left your vehicle with doors unlocked, windows cracked, and more
• Connect with your automotive repair shop to receive real-time updates
• Simplify your trip with data-based route planning
• Receive alerts ahead of time if vehicle maintenance is coming due
• Add up to four additional drivers on one Nissan ID account

*The NissanConnect Services telematics program was affected by AT&T’s decision to discontinue its 3G cellular network. As of February 22, 2022, all Nissan vehicles equipped with telematics hardware compatible for use with the 3G cellular network will be unable to connect to the 3G network and unable to access the NissanConnect Services features. Customers having purchased a Nissan vehicle with this type of hardware must have enrolled in NissanConnect Services prior to June 1, 2021, to activate the service to have received access through February 22, 2022 (access is subject to cellular network availability and coverage limitations). Edit: Originally I mentioned it was buggy and slow. I received a reply from Nissan, almost immediately not promising anything only thanking me for the feedback and some standard information. Not a week goes by and the App begins to bug out badly. Worse then ever! Until it finally stops working for two whole days. Today I woke up to find it all working again... and it responds super fast. It actually now communicates with the car quickly! 5 stars for listening to feedback! Don't stop fixing it!

Don't waste your money! After my trial period, I started paying the ridiculously high fee for the service (sorry, but after spending 58k on a car, this service should be included), the app rarely worked. It fails to start my car about 80% of the time. I received a promotional email for a discounted annual rate. Shockingly (sarcasm) the app continued to fail when I tried to pay for the package online. I called customer service and was told they couldn't honor the price since I was calling in.

The functions never work. I consistently get "Function" was not completed successfully, please try again. Lock, Unlock, Climate... etc none of them actually work. I'm looking at the app right now, and it says the percentage is 17% and not charging; meanwhile I'm sitting in the car and it's charging and at 30%. The app is completely clueless most times.

Useless. App hasn't updated my mileage in two weeks, so I tried logging out, and now it won't let me log back in. Keep getting a "something went wrong, try again later" error. And yes, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, clear cache. etc. etc. etc. Hot garbage. And to think I was going to sign up for the premium services....not anymore if it's not going to work. It's 2023, shouldn't be that difficult to have a basic working app.

After messing around with the app and my phone for about a week I give up. The functions simply do not work at all. Any attempt to lock, start etc always results in "failed to [function]". The location is never accurate or it shows the location I was at more than a day or two ago. Meanwhile my fiance's Chevy has a similar app that works flawlessly and almost as quickly as pressing the key fob, I have a new 2024 model, Nissan needs to change something here.

This app works beautifully when you are standing within 10 feet of a wireless modem on a Clear, Sunny 70 degree day with no humidity. On a 99 degree day with 99% humidity, cannot get it to work to start the car to cool it off. On a 20 degree morning, with frost, doesn't work either. I have had my car 3 months, and the app works less and less reliably each month that goes on. I get error, try again later more times than I have it work. Zero stars, would not recommend.

I purchased a new 22 Altima almost 2 years ago. I have never been able to use this app, ever. It says "feature not supported with this account" when I have tried the vehicle location finder. It doesn't even have options for me to control climate or remote start the car. It never has the right mileage displayed.I know someone with a 2020 dodge who is able to do remote start and climate control on his car. This app is completeluseless and when I tried the support chat, the app "is not working."

There's no way I'm paying for this app when my trial is up. If it would load more than 50% of the time, it would be nice! The concept is great, but execution is terrible. It's very frustrating when you'd like to warm up or unlock your vehicle, but all you get is a spinning wheel!!! I've had multiple Nissan's and multiple top end Samsung phones, and it's all the same. Never have issues with other manufacturers' apps.

Today the app no longer shows the screen to remotely start the vehicle. Not good on on -10F day. It showed up yesterday. What changed? I forced the app to shut down and restarted but I'm not getting the usual screen to control the vehicle. I pay $10 a month for this service and expect it to work, especially when I need it! The vehicle location works but who usually needs that. That's all that available right now.

By far the worst car app yet. 90% of the time the car does not start thru the app but the app says the car engine is running. I have to refresh the app several times just to get the correct location of the car . You can't extend remote start time or schedule a remote start... 10 minutes is definitely not long enough in New England during winter months to get anything warm. No way I'm paying for this app once my trial period is over.

This app is a big smelly trash can full of 💩. If you had big hopes of this app letting you do cool stuff like remotely start the climate control, locking/unlocking, and setting a charging schedule; prepare to have your hopes dashed. This app only connects to my EV about 10% to 20% of the time I open it to use it for these very basic functions. The previous app that I could use when I first got the car was a million times better, it was a very sad day when I was forced to switch to this app.

Dropping review for this app. Now it will not let me sign in saying password or username invalid. Tried changing password, but after I submit new password, still comes up with the same invalid message. Also was starting to get vehicle started message when it didn't start. Update: Removed and re-installed app. Working ok, for now. Would like to see added functions for setting climate controls for remote start. Subaru app way ahead in functionality.

I'm seriously upset with the app. It worked the first 4 weeks if at all. I have the car now for almost two years and even that I tried multiple times to get it fixed, nobody seems to be interested to really help. The app still shows about 1000 miles, never worked with remote start etc, sometimes I'm lucky, and I can lock and unlock the car, but that's about it. I would have liked to actually use the app during the trial, but was never able too. Really frustrating!

The best I can say is that the app would be really useful if it worked. It hasn't connected to the car in 3 days. When it does connect, everything takes 15 to 30 seconds. It doesn't fetch all the data when it connects to the car, it shows the wrong charging state unless you separately refresh that. If it fails to refresh, it just shows old data. The trip planner almost works great, but doesn't pass the charging stops to the car! So after planning the stops on the app, you need to redo it in car

Have had the app for two weeks. Thus far, I find it unimpressive. In the past, I've used the GM and Ford apps. Both have more intuitive user interface and are more responsive. Also, this app seems to have problems updating information or "finding" the vehicle if I'm not near a big city. Agai, I didn't have this issue with other automobile apps, just Nissan. 🤔

This app is very slow to connect and preform the tasks. Also the companion watch app makes you login in every time to the phone app so you can perform any remote tasks if it even recognizes your phone login. What's the point for the watch app if you need the phone. Additionally they took away integration with Google assistant so you cannot voice prompt to remote start or lock, etc. your vehicle. Needs work and support all around to get this to be what it should.

This app sucks! Do not waste your time or effort. If I could -I would leave no stars. It constantly crashes. Half the features don't work or take too much time to update and I am constantly getting kicked out and having to reset my password and even when I reset my password -I still cant log back in. It is not my devices. They are current and up to date. The application simply does not function correctly

My Nissan came with a free trial. When the app was working, the features were nice. I did get a random tow alarm when my car was sitting undisturbed. The biggest issue I had was the app would refuse to work for a couple days at a time. Mostly due to logging me out and refusing to log back in. The longest were two one/two week periods. The last one was during my last couple weeks of the trial. The trial just expired and I didn't realize it because I hadn't been able to use it. I didn't renew

This app has a lot of issues it needs to work out first for it to be a great app. 1. You are supposed to be able to start your car from the app.. 3/10 times have I really been able to do it, get a reading of can't connect.leaving me to go out into the cold twice to start the car to warm up and to leave. 2. I have been kicked off the app several times to have to log back in, once where I had to go thru the whole process all over.

It works amazingly for someone who often can't remember if they've locked the car! It's nice to start the vehicle from a distance, except it only lasts 10 minutes. If my car is frozen over, 10 minutes doesn't do much, especially when my car only turns on the blower without the actual key starting it. Setting boundaries, locations, and speed notifications is excellent when my teenagers drive.
