It really is very inconsistent, the response time is very slow, you tap on it and have ti wait for around 30 seconds or more sometimes for it to register. The frequent and irregular logging out is also a major issue. Overall it's been quite inconsistent snd can be frustrating to use.

The old app was better when it comes to data plans, everything is there. This new app doesn't even show upto half of the data plans available, like Always on . The old app shows you all your numbers on one screen, this one makes you swipe for each one. The UI of the new app needs to borrow a few tips from the old one.

I'm just being generous with the 1 star rating. If there was an option for zero stars, I'd have put that instead. I made a transaction of N600 with my debit card only for it to get cancelled and I was debited. I clicked the virtual chat option and it said I cannot contact MTN for transactions below N2000. That's total rubbish. I'm not using this app anymore.

Horrible app, I've been using it for more than a year now and it just keeps getting worse and worse!! It never loads, it's sooo slow, constantly asking me to log in, the glitches are never ending, every other day it's something new!! Please do better. The app is ALWAYS having issues, now it's not even opening or loading at all at all, it's just a white blank screen that never goes away, I'm so disgusted

The app was working fine before the recent update, after I updated now I'm unable to share data to friends. The "from" option just stays empty and it's not clickable. Please fix this! Edit: The above was fixed. Now after the new update app logs ne out every time I close it and I have to log in again each time to access my profile. Are your apps not tested before you release to production? Fgs

Good user interface design but the following issues must be resolved; 1. Session always expires and you have to log in each time you want to use the app. 2. App doesn't allow me share data or airtime. 3. App always prompts me that I have insufficient data. 4. App prompts me that I can't share data to my alternative number Generally I have had a terrible experience with the app.

Slow and basically useless There is nothing you can do with the app that you can't just do with a USSD code. I only installed it so I can monitor my MTN mifi data without having to change the SIM on my phone every time. But the applications login expires so fast and logging back in requires OTP instead of password. So it can't be use it to to monitor mifi as you still need to put the SIM in your phone to log in. I don't know why they made the security strict. But it makes it the app useless.

It seems almost intentional that a mega company will offer such a buggy app. Almost. What does it cost MTN to get devs to build a stable software. Of over 100 apps on my device, this performs by far, the worst. Even offline features don't work well. Freezing and throwing errors all over. Please rebuild this from the ground up. We're counting on you guys.

The app is whack. It doesn't open when you don't have data and now won't open with another network. Imagine trying to open the app to purchase data, and you can't even do that when your subscription has expired. Very stupid update. Really. USSD code would be giving issues, and the app won't open either. Spent over a week before I could finally buy data. If 0 star was possible, that would have been the best.

You have to re-register every time you log out and then it is frustrating to buy data for someone or even send airtime (It always goes back to the home page once you enter "buy for others" and repeats the same action again and again, really annoying). The app trips off every once in a while when you open it and will keep re-registering you again and again until you get tired and just abandon your plans.

The app is always logging out. Very useless. I installed it to be able to keep up with the data on my MTN Modem so I don't have to put the SIM on a phone to keep up with the balance. But guess what, I have to put the SIM in a phone all the time because the app has timed out and I have to request an OTP again. Very useless app like that. For the umpteenth time, I deleted it.

I'd give zero if that were an option. Frustrating to login. I'd login, then I'd immediately get a "your session has expired" message. Then I'll end up trying more than 5 times to re-login and it'll never work. The day it eventually ends up loging in, I won't be able to do anything on the app, cause nothing works. MTN needs to fix-up cause this is subpar.

This app is the definition of frustration, it's like a first generation android app, very analog. It takes 30 seconds for the app to process a response. Click on buy data, it'll take 30 seconds for the categories to come up, click on a category and it takes another 30 secs. The worst thing is that sometimes there's even no response. Just an annoying app.

I don't understand what is happening with the app anymore. Previously I buy data directly from the app and it works well but twice this week now, I have been debited twice on different transactions, yet no data. The bad thing is that their customer care agents keep sending copy and paste messages that it will be reversed in 24-48hrs, yet it is over 72 hours. Edited: Issues have been rectified now after 5 days. Thank you

Over the years this app has incurred a lot of bugs ranging from constant "Session has expired" to the fact that the data bundle displays as expired even though the date of expiry hasn't been reached. The worst now is that I can't share my data plans linked to my other MTN number, it keeps saying "You don't have an active data bundle" or "I can't share data to my number" If there were 0-star ratings. I would have rated it 0 because this app is practically useless.

This has to be the worst network provider app. Updates and updates but it's still trash. Has the largest size in all network apps but also has the lowest quality. I don't get why you have to relogin every damn time and it's not like you would successfully login. It's always one or two endliah displaying error messages. Imagine having 3 login ways but the 3 are always showing different errors. The very slow responds are still a problem ooo. When it comes to network app, I don't recommend this.

My only problem with the app is the continous session expired it keeps showing, it's not as if logging in again is seamless. It keeps on showing an error message,please do well to work on this issue, it's becoming tiring to use the app. Out of the other three log in options, none of them is working. At least make 2 options to function properly.

It amazes me that such an inconsistent app can come from the so called best network provider. I am appalled by the applications inconsistencies with stability and user friendliness. The interface is ok but not all features are available always but my experience as a user is really terrible. MTN please do something about this app. We expect more from you. Thank you.

At first it seemed nice until I started encountering the incessant "session expired" message. If it was once in a while it would have been fine, but everyday... That's a mess. Then to crown it all I can't transfer data without continuously getting an error of "insufficient balance" when I literally just recharged. The issues are too much that I can't list them all. Please work on your application. Using it is a nightmare.

The app is a huge improvement from a few years ago and using a broadband sim I avoid all those annoying network messages that we often get. The network is a great companion to have in these times and the deals you can get are a relief. The broadband plans can be affordable and there should be special offers for those who renew as well. MTN do something for WE
