Buggy software - crashes regularly on simple functions, like getting a 14-day usage report. Limited functionality and real-time reporting!! Would be great if it remembered key data, like email addresses to send reports to. Would be useful if reports would be available in .csv format in addition to the static PDF, as there are no useful totals in the pdf version.

It was ok the first time I downloaded it. But then I recently downloaded after flashing my phone and the app won't open. My network is steady because I still get notifications from other apos but this one just refuses to open and then when it finally does most off the functions are useless to me because they won't open and then the data balance doesnt even show anything.

MTN! MTN!! MTN!!! How many times did I call you? Is it by force to develop an App? What's the point having an App if we can't use it? I can't even open the mishap of an App for the past 4 days to do anything. I Uninstalled and reinstalled the App and even downgrade to old version still, I keep seeing "Unable to connect to secure server."

The latest update is such a drag. You have to input the OTP every single time and that's just so annoying. Your Devs are not serious it's laughable. There's better and more convenient ways to implement authentication. I suggest you study your competitor, Airtel's app. If you can give us something as close to that in reliability and ease of use then it's a win.

A beautifully tailored app with only one noticeable shortcoming, why not add a feature for sharing data along side the send data feature like you see on GLO where you can subscribe one sim, then share the data to another sim and use both till your data expires or gets exhausted. I can't always be subscribing both of my smartphones nor can i always leave on the hotspot or Wi-Fi on either of the two phones cos of the electricity situation in the country. Finally, please look into MTN 4G in Awka

This app has been useful. For some time now, I've observed that's it's difficult to open the app once my data is around 150mb. MTN data becomes unusable once your data is low. For me it's been when my data is 150mb and under. I don't know if this is a marketing strategy or some bug in MTN system. Play, fix it. We're entitled to the last byte of data we pay for. Also, instead of deducting from my night data plan, my regular sub is being used while browsing at midnight. Pls, fix this too.

The below issue still outstanding! 31 September 2018 2 issues 1. Why do I need to login every single time regardless of clicking remember me. 2. Why can I not get a simple breakdown of how much data was carried over and then what the expiry date is of that data. Competing networks offer this simple breakdown without any issue both online and in an app.

MTN you can do better than this! I wanted to abuse you for the rubbish you directed the massive to download, instead you're wasting someone's data. The app isn't opening even if you go to Vatican. It stops at choosing your country and then they starting informing you how you should first turn off your wi fi......uhmmmm, and then the next will be "in able to connect"

It's a nice idea given us an app that we use within eeach rather than memorising so many codes. However, the app is unstable and unreliable in getting some of those required info. For example, it's being months i downloaded the app, i often use it to guage my airtime and data balance, unfortunately, the app never shows information of my data balance. I found this ackward if i still have to dial *131*4# in order to know my balance. Please fix this error

Tried to set it up for 2 or 3 hours and got error after error. One of the most repeated one was invalid mobile network. I was using an mtn number without wifi connected. I am not sure which invalid mobile network it is referring to. Seems like a great idea to have everything together. Just wish it worked for me.

I wish I could give this app 0 stars. It's completely useless. I've attempted sharing my airtime to no avail. The user interface is also complicated and very difficult to use. It keeps buffing even at high internet speed. The app keeps telling my pin is incorrect. So frustrating. I'm taking this to every social media platform. Even the customer care service agents are unhelpful.

If you're an mtn user, then this app is a must have. It allows you to do all the regular operations, but with a clean attractive UI. and you won't need to memorize any codes to use it. And unlike certain other apps ("my airtel"), you don't need data to access it. Heck, you can even use it without an internet connection at all. I can tell that the developers actually cared about the app and did their best to make it work as efficiently as possible, and they really deserve this.

MTN think they slick. They send you an offer but once you try to activate it, they'll be like "oops, seems like you dialled the wrong code." If you're not gonna give me an offer, don't waste my time and space by sending me a text message about it. It gets annoying to be honest. They give an offer but the moment you recharge to activate it??? Its no longer an option. I mean seriously!!!!!!

Am struggling to give half a star. The only impressive thing about the application is it has the colours right and gives you life feedback on your bundle - when you are connected. Navigating is terrible and it keeps making one wait for long periods to access certain services. Subscribing to a bundle has never been less difficult than my experience here. I am forced to use the app, but when trying to subscribe, am notified to use the app on subscribing. It is frustrating

The app is way too slow 1. It sends OTP every freaking time, I mean that. is super frustrating and annoying to say the least. Why can't I just use password or biometrics. 2. It takes a Zillion years to load payments page when you try to make purchases from the app using your card or bank account. Frustrating! I've resorted to using quickteller for recharges and it happens at speed of light. Good side of my MTN app is buying data from within the app is way cheaper than using my banking app.

I used the app to pay my outstanding bill. It is functional, but the input method to specify the amount that I would like deducted from my account was unintuitive. I could not specify a cent value. Using the plus and minus icons beside the input changed the value by R20 intervals which seems inappropriate within the context I was trying to use it for. An option exists to pay with a credit card, but cancelling that option had the effect of actually submitting the payment! It would be really great if an option existed to pay via eft from the app similar to the way it can be done on the Mr D Food app. Overall, the myMTN app is very unintuitive and needs a lot of improvement.

I would give zero star if it were possible. Setting up the application doesn't work. I've tried several times on several different days and it never worked. I always get the message "OTP failed ! Please try again later". The previous version of of this app (1 or 2 years ago) used to work without any problem. The problem ("OTP failed") is still there, 1 year after my previous feedback on that !!

The new app is terrible. They are focussing more on advertising than actually providing a service. The amount of options you had in the old version and the amount of info in the various voice data etc options and usage has been cut back. U know have to be able to do math in order to work out how much actual anytime DATA u have available. DONT UPDATE. I wish I could roll it back to previous version.

This is actually a nice idea, to have all your accounts in one place and be able to manage them and have visibility. However this app is not helping with that, the app is very slow, there are alot of timeouts. Can't purchase data and airtime with our usage limit. Can view my bills at certain times. It's a nightmare navigating through the app. And why do I need to keep entering my number when logging in, even after selecting the remember me checkbox. Can you please fix this app. Or just hire me.

Good app that does most of the things out of the box. One thing I'll add though, for user experience, especially for sme, the data sending page, should be such that the "x" close button after sending data, defaults back to the share page. That is, to aid user experience, having the page reload and ready for another quick data sending would bemust better than having to go to home screen everytime, especially when I have multiple data to end at the same time
