This current update is completely useless in terms of user friendly. It's difficult to find options in the App and most available ones are repeated. You have OFFERS here and there. The icons in the HOME lead to nowhere in particular. You are just stuck there. Most sadly you are unable to manage your accounts. You can neither downgrade nor upgrade your packages here unlike the previous apps. you then have to keep calling customer care representatives. Remove and redesign please. Thank you.

The app is so slow. everything times out or throws an error. you can't even enter the competitions without it timing out and then it uses your entries without entering the competition because of the timeouts

The new UI is very confusing, I can't locate any productive functions apart from adverts pay options. 1. I can't see the list of packages. 2. Balance. 3. Connectivity options. 4. My profile. 5. Etc

The previous version of the app was more user friendly than the current one. I could see a price breakdown of my bill, but in the new version I do not see that option to the price breakdown of my bill.

Most useless app. Can't use 2 different usernames on app. Have to uninstall and reinstall to use different user. If passyis wrong you have to uninstall to reset or rety password. Can't reconnect older decoders and even if you have a debit order you have to make payment.

Can't redeem competition entries, can't setup debit orders, customer support can't help at all on any occasion. Just a really bad app with really bad support. DStv as a whole is just really bad these days. If a different streaming service came out to watch all the sport on, DStv won't exist anymore...

The app keeps on showing "An unexpected error has occurred please try again later". It has been doing this for 2 months every day. I'd advise anyone willing to download this app not to download it at all. DSTV is now offering poor service ls. I'm very disappointed 😞

Absolutely disastrous embarrassment. Not one single feature on this app works. NOT 1 SINGLE FEATURE WORKS!!! It's a joke. From signing in to managing account to rewards or claiming gifts. Everything has unexpected errors every time. The pages won't even load properly let alone function. Was this outsourced to Municipal government? Multichoice get your act together. less and less reason to stay a customer....

This app is disgusting. looks like you are now scamming. It gave me a quote for my 2 decoders and paid using the app for both but channels for my other decoder stopped. when I opened it showed me a quote with exorbitant price. I paid and still It was showing payment didn't go through. I tried again and later after making several attempts the app showed me that I had paid more than what I could have paid as the amount on the quote for next month is showing negative.

completely useless. I can't even log in. The redirect sends me to a page that says access is blocked probably because of too much traffic. Complete nonsense! Hire competent staff please and come up with an app that deserves the name "app". This is just a thumbnail with absolutely no use.

App does not save my updated preferences. Keeps returning to old preferences. Absolutely frustrating and useless. Also no option to "lock in your subscription" to receive discount on premium package.

The DSTV app continues to be one of the most frustrating platforms I've used. The process of claiming rewards is unnecessarily convoluted, making it a nightmare for me to simply want to redeem a reward.reaching out to online agents for assistance is equally unhelpful—they either lack the knowledge to resolve issues or fail to provide effective solutions. Overall, this has been my worst experience with any app so far. a star is being generous

the rewards section keeps telling me I'm unsuccessful every time I try to enter something. the app is constantly problematic. I notice the tech team are falling over themselves to help having not bothered to respond to my post. Kind of sums up Dstv. useless

App would have been rated higher BUT every end of the month I always have an issue to pay my subscription. The payment page either doesn't open or just change to a blank screen. Have installed, uninstall, reinstall several times, NO LUCK OR IMPROVEMENT. Is it DSTV's way to force me to take a contract? PLEASE FIX or ADVISE WHY IT'S SO DIFFICULT.

my dstv was showing active I am fully paid up and owe nothing e16 error on the app i went to clear error codes then got a blank screen I then tried the whatsapp number that kept saying there is a problem try again later. I went back on to the my dstv app to try. it now says disconnected and when you click on it nothing happens. the app is totally useless snd a waste of time

Very bad app now. I can't even sign in to the MyDstv app. When I try to sign in and select a country then it gives me a error message saying "An unexpected error occurred, please try again and I have tried multiple times and it still does not work. If this problems keeps on occurring then I will strongly consider it to cancel my DSTV subscription, because I pay a lot for nothing. Fix the errors

Just updated the app. Haven't used it in a while so I cannot remember if it was any good in the first place. Trying to login and says there's an error and endlessly loops if I keep trying again. No option or prompting to reset the account or password. So I cannot get into the app, and it doesn't give me an option to try to fix that issue. Guess I won't bother trying to use it then. Very poor

it would be great if you could be open and clear about your updates across all your platforms instead of providing only vague information every time you provide app updates. This will allow customers to either choose to update or not as some updates only bring confusion. This app used to provide a summary of subscription payments so it was easy to keep track of the payments. I don't know who recommended the removal of that feature but whoever they are they must rethink their terrible decision.

The previous version worked better this has a few bugs made worse by a poor customer service experience Here are the issues I could fit in under 500 characters: 1. Under Live help this keeps timing out such that I have to keep ending the chat and reconnecting in order to see what the agent has responded 2. The staff basically told me it was a "me" problem and that I'm the only one who has complained so it must be me 3. This app does not have a way to cancel subscriptions (the main package)

The app is very terrible. My experience on this app has been one of the worst I've had on any other application. Linking showmax to dstv account is so complicated, why have the feature if it does not work? Navigation is also poor as well. The team should do better, the showmax app too has too many links outside of the application, it's not any good either
