I have had no success in using this app. I rarely get into the app, getting the equivalent of the screen of death. And when I do, I get hung up on the "here's what's new" in the upper right corner, unable to acknowledge it and get to the main screen. The two times in three months I got past that, I hit the start button, and after 10 minutes and the car not responding, I was close enough to use my fob. Very poor experience.

Hardly ever works. Give 10-20 notification alerts ever time I open it. I've been forced to go through the initial setup for the same car for months every time I open it. Now when I open it it gets stuck in a loop refreshing. I've deleted app and downloaded again. Turned phone off. No difference. GM needs to get out of the tech business and outsource the app

Mostly a useless app unless you pony up for a full suite of OnStar services. Older versions from a few years back were superior to how this app has degenerated. The only redeeming feature is a downloadable owners' manual. But, it's now buried a few layers down in the menu so even that minor bit of useful was degraded. I guess it's time to remove it to gain back some storage space.

Seriously I've email several times NO response!!!!!!! Its now been almost 3 weeks with very little no contact or help. This is a aweful app. I've had UCONNECT AND TOYOTA before and never once had problems like this. It never opens it always says system error, I've tried reinstalling multiple times. I hope the truck is more reliable than this app.

This app is GARBAGE! It takes multiple times logging on/off to get the app open. When i do open it, the info is old, frozen or flat-out wrong. It shows my vehicle on the other side of the state and I know for a fact it is not there. There is no way to refresh the map screen. No way to manually send addresses for navigation. DO BETTER CHEVROLET!

This used to be a solid app until about 6 months ago. Now when I try to sign in it just says "logging in" and will just attempt to load for about 15 minutes before the app crashes. Doesn't matter if on WiFi or cellular. I've cleared cache and storage but still won't work. I'm going to cancel OnStar because of this. I used to be able to send navigation directions right from my phone to my Chevy Volt and it was amazing until OnStar stopped the service because of 2G instead of updating the module.

since my last revive the app has got better. I do miss the history of the vehicle location. I wish that features comes back. overall the app has got a lot better. Bring back the location history please The new update is horrible. It tells you to hold the button to lock and unlock and nothing happens. Nothing was wrong with the old app.

The app is great when it's working, love to see my charg level and time being able to start or unlock the car from the app is nice, wish you could control or have a preset for the thermostat. The app fails to connect a lot, weather in just trying to see what my charg is out trying to start it up in the morning. Keep having problems with the app connect to car.

Absolutely horrible app !!!!! On very very extreme moments it may open, however, that is, 99.99 % of the time it doesn't and it's extremely frustrating when you're paying for services and cannot even get into the app to review your vehicle status. Absolutely garbage, needs to have a refreshed update to end mine along with many many peoples frustration.

Was great until they broke the map function so that it never finds anything in a search. The most useful feature was the ability to send directions to the navigation in the car, but at this point, the map is pretty much worthless. EDIT Actually, uninstall the app and reinstall it, and it seems there was an update I was not getting. My map function works again. Changing my star rating. Now, if only they would add some useful car apps to the slightly older 2020 models like audible.

I've been using this app for 7 weeks. It rarely works. I have tried clearing the cache, force stopping it and rebooting my phone. It only works about 1 of 4 times. Also, the notifications come hours after the actual event. If I plug in my car and the dash indicates the charging should complete by 8pm, by 12am I still haven't received a notification. When I physically check the car and remote open the door, all of a sudden I get the notification that the charging is complete. Very useless app IMO

The application initially functioned when I bought my Silverado. However, after a few months, I ceased receiving notifications, and the start button on the phone appeared frozen. Initially, I presumed updating the app would resolve the issue, but to no avail. Consequently, I resorted to uninstalling and reinstalling the application. This routine has become necessary as the app consistently crashes every 5-6 months. Great app, but GM must strive for improvement.

Downloaded the app in 2021, and it worked fine. With the last several updates, it has progressively declined. Oftentimes, I have to close the app and reopen to even unlock/lock the doors, if it even works. Scheduling appointments through the app has never happened. The dealership never received the appointment. With the most recent update, the app tried to guide me through the updates, and I couldn't do anything. I had to close it out and reopen to unlock the doors.

This app is complete trash. It takes multiple attempts and several minutes to open that is IF it opens. Do better GM/Chevrolet. A lot of people depend on this app for several things. Pay some better developers and fix this immediately. It's been going on for months. I have friends with the same issues. All have different phones, so it isn't a phone issue or something that needs to be updated on the customer's part.

This app is so annoying sometimes. I love that I can open it and see what my Blazer EV's charge percentage is...but that's when it works. Takes way too long to load and sometimes won't load at all. It's also annoying that, eventually, I'll have to pay to access the app and I don't get features like being able to turn on the AC remotely. Sure, I can set the auto climate controls to turn on in the car's settings, but it'd be nice to have that feature in the app. Too buggy right now.

The app is working properly again, but I'm only increasing it to 3 stars for the time being. I'd like to see some reliability improvements to the app and the charging notifications working better as well as they don't always work. Being that the tier I'm on is a paid service I would like to see things working more reliability. The car and my phone don't have signal issues, so that isn't a contributing factor.

They took away the pin functionality. Made the application UI less intuitive. Now, I have to enter a password, which I use complex passwords for security, and the application won't work with LastPass. I'm not sure who you have on UI and QA, but they need to take a refresher course. This is now bad enough, I'm considering dropping my subscription. The latest update is completely broke the map feature. I can't locate my car anymore.

The app wasn't working for me before the last update and now it still isn't, but in a different way because Breaking. Never. Stops. It won't let me access any features that require OnStar and instead directs me to link my OnStar services. When I click on that button, it launches a browser window that correctly displays my OnStar plan lasts through 2028. Unfortunately, there's doesn't seem to be a way to let the app know that, because all features are still unavailable and it tells me to connect

ONE MONTH UPDATE: The app is inconsistent and isn't able to perform basic tasks like unlocking the vehicle. I'm new to this app and it has cool features but goes into hyper overdrive on notifications, including "trusted device" every time I open the app. It's overwhelming so I had to completely disable all notifications from the app. Annoying!

I was signed out this morning and cannot log back in. The redirect from the website after authenticating appears to be broken, an error is displayed saying "unable to complete authorization as there is no interactive call in progress". Seems like a bug, and the user facing error message is not clear. Edit: I was able to resolve this error by switching to cellular. It likely involves a blocked port or address on the hotel WiFi I was using. The status toast/popup should be updated.
