Very solid app. Does not require an IR Blaster (which none of my devices have) and works perfectly with my Sony BDPS6700 Streaming Player. From on/off - through every setting applicable - 100% ✓ No ads! I'm buying $ version out of respect for developer.

I tried 11 Other apps for Sony Blu Ray dvd player and none of them worked with out having to buy something or down loading another app. My phones not fancy it doesn't have IR.... I'm very happy I tried just one more, bc this one is great. I didn't need codes or anything other then to down load and it was ready to go!!!

I was thrilled I could use my Sony blu-ray again and watch Netflix. The only problem was the controls wouldn't work. No up or down, no way to choose what I wanted to watch. I was so ready to give a five star review too.

This app is trash, I just wanted to watch some TV when this app was going to charge me monthly for it! I did not have to play on any other device in this house but of all things, the newest Samsung 10 I have to pay.This is by far the worst app in have installed ever. I hope you. sn fix this piece of trash app,I normally am not this mean but this really sucks. your app is trash, please fix it! Scummy APP!

The app was working just fine. Issue is for a very simple app that is not flashy at all it was only a 7day free trial and then I would have to pay 9$ annually to continue to use a simple remote app! What a rip off!

It tried connecting to my Hue hub immediately and I don't want to connect my hub, ever. The app did not work beyond counting down from 30 into negative numbers. I gave up and uninstalled it, what a piece of garbage. I wanted a remote for my sony bluray player, that's it. I should not be forced into using this app with my other devices and be able to opt out of anything I don't want the app to control.

"MyAv Sony Blu-Ray & PS5" Remote. The name means absolutely nothing... Why on earth does this Sony app insist on connecting to my Philips Hue bridge, I don't want it to do that, I have a dedicated app for that! As I don't want it to connect to the Philips Hue, the app Knows better, I can't stop it from trying to connect to the the Philips Hue. Considering I have purchased the other MyAv Universal, which has the same problem and gave up on, this is just as bad!

Ive been using this remote for the last month, I have the subscription as well. It works like a charm, it can control my Xbox One and my Blu-ray player so i dont have to fumble for remotes or controllers when watching Netflix, Hulu, DVDs, or Blu-ray movies. I have no idea why people think its the app thats causing "Hijacks" on their PC, of all things. Thats a virus, my dude. And it definitely wasnt from this app. Lay off the adult films ;-)

Only app that works with my blu ray player but I won't pay for it. So I'll just keep getting up to use the buttons. Pocketwood: no need for the snark. It's very unprofessional. Those values are important, however not important enough for me to pay for it. I like the app, but don't want to pay for it. Maybe you should take your earnings from selling this app and go get some customer service lessons. It might help. down rated you for your lack of tact.

I downloaded this app because I've lost my remote. However the app was not able to detect any WiFi devices on my network at all. I selected my exact model number from the drop-down list still nothing. The other option is to enter the IP of the device which obviously I can't do because I don't have the remote to get into settings thanks for nothing. Immediately uninstalled.

only remote I found that works for a free 7 day trail. Not paying $9 a year. when I only use twice a year. Total rip off. just buy a new remote, just look up your model number on the back of your machine look it up on the internet. dude your smart ass remarks is another reason I'm out. there is a lot of apps that are free. You're just trying to take advantage of people. trying to make that fast buck. so Walmart got my money because I bought the remote for less than $8 and free shipping. so FU

I have downloaded several different apps trying to get one that would work for my Sony Blu-ray DVD player I lost the remote and I have not been able to play anything for the kids after many downloads this was the only app that works for the Sony Blu-ray DVD player!! it worked instantly and I did not have to put in any serial numbers or anything it just instantly worked I am so relieved!! Thank you!

works fairly well. better than some of the other sony remote apps. if you have your blu ray player on, it automatically detects and loads a remote image that works for your device. really quick and easy to use. i do wish they had the statement that this is a 7 day trial in a more prominent place. i was so desperate to find an working Sony app that i wasn't reading through much past the app permission requirements. i had tried 7 or 8 apps by the time i found this one.

Buttons don't work a lot of the time and it doesnt control volume or power but it's the only app I could find that worked for my sony bluray player. Think the price should be a one time fee of $5.99 or less not $9.99 a year. It really isnt reliable. It's definitely no where near as good as a regular remote but great to have a second option when I cant find my regular remote which is a lot of the time. Glad this app exists!

Switching it down to one star. I would have been willing to pay a dollar or two for a one-time payment. But considering I can actually buy a replacement remote off of eBay for $2 less than this author is asking me to pay every single year, under the nonsense idea that just because this software is capable of controlling thousands of devices, I really could care less because I don't have thousands of devices I have one device I am trying to control. And if this didn't even do a very good job.

Free trial worked great, had my BluRay player programmed and setup. Subscribed since I was having issues finding the correct replacement remote, was unable to even find my device let alone control it after I paid the subscription. In my opinion you're better off just getting a replacement remote for roughly the same price as the app subscription.

I really love this app. Its 100% on point with my blueray player and my TV. I've never had any bad experiences with this app. like have experienced with many others. But! Unfortunately after a while (I'm guessing after my Free Trial) it's asking for a payment and not just a one time payment, its asking for a payment every month. I don't see how paying every month is necessary. So I give 3 stars because of the inconvenience of being cut off after making a payment.
