So far so good. I'm an American, living 50%++ in Maia, Portugal. Unfortunately, my language skills are non-existent. Generally, the Voda Portugal app does a good job with English. That said, occasionally pages are in Portuguese requiring translation. Even so, 5 stars as it's completely my fault. I can't expect each countries apps to cater to my language ignorance. Bottom-line: Easy to use, easy to top-off if necessary, great layout with overview of usage and remaining data/minutes

Every time I open this app there's a new issue making it really time consuming to do something as simple as a top up, today the problem was that it wouldn't give me an option to select payment method despite me having done so before on this phone and this account. The app is a nightmare to work with with a confusing and infuriating structure and lack of guidance not to mention it's useless chatbot which is more like a glorified instructions manual index. And much more but there's a letter limit

Most ridiculous app ever. Loses login frequently, doesn't login smoothly, doesn't work smoothly, took considerable time to load the app, shows a lot of ads, it's more of an ad showing app than anything else, but you have to use it because there is no other option to manage your simcard. did I forget to tell that consumer support is non existing?!

It doesn't let me set up an automatic top up, meaning I frequently have to charge it manually and have to go through long loads and crashes. [Edit: Additional information. Yep, the number has been active for a year and a half and I've reset the app and the phone multiple times. Nothing changed.]

UPDATED - It's working again. I haven't been able to login for 3 days, the App always displayed to try later and even after reinstalling the last update several times, cleaning cache and data and restarting the phone over and over, nothing solved it. Today I let the battery run down completely and after charging it and turning the phone back on, there was no problem with the App anymore. It doesn't seem like a coincidence to me, releasing the battery solved it. Thank you for your concern 👍.

Unable to see an extra paid balance if I use hotspot internet (30/month). It is always 0.00. Also unable to setup auto topup every 30 days since it can be configured Monthly or weekly only. Tired from attempts to tune topups once and forget for a long time. Ending balance is notified into modem as simple sma (who read them?) and never in mobile app. Probably the worst experience that I had with telecom software.

Top up is designed for you to lose money. You can only automatize the top up to pay in a monthly or weekly basis, but the debits from your account are each 3 weeks, making you either overpay or underpay, in which point, the app has by default an automatic small debit for you to keep services (around an euro). In any way, is flagrantly over-design against consumers, and we end up paying an euro or 2 extra each month that way. Also, app often throws errors when trying to get user's data.

doesn't recognize my phone number as being valid vodafone number. seems to want to force you to provide extra personal details, uninstalled right away.

Ever since the 2022 reset, the UI has become much more seamless and the app crashes and forced logout are a thing of the past. The app still shows a few errors sometimes, especially when it involves loading other contracts or numbers into the list. I love how privacy safe the app is now, as it doesn't force you to open all your smartphone back doors in order to fully use the app. The Android 11 experience was a tragedy for me, but thankfully Android 12 brought a lot of stability to new features

The app works but too many flaws. Most of the interface is not available in English. The app logs off regularly, asking for all the info again and again. Invoice interface is confusing because you can't pay older bills separely. And they take payment for newer bills, not older ones, so that you pay then extra for lateness. Too many other small bugs to mention.

Good app when it lets me login - and that's where the issue is. It requires a verification code, i receive 6 digits, the app wants 4.... Repeatedly. After an update this logged me off and I am unable to log in back since.

The app does provide some "nice" functionalities. But is so severely broken that it becomes useless: 2/3 times it just won't start and when it does it always requests to setup authentication and MFA. A pity.

This app is so slow that should be rebuilt from scratch at least in Portugal. It could also have a problem reporting section, with real person workers, not just robot chat. This should have a copy of the tech assistance requests in another European union country, other than Portugal. To keep relevant history. The chat in de the app is not available at the moment. It's probably some problem with the code or the build in Portugal as usual.

Its not about the app. Its about the customer service. I try to send email and it gives. me error. I try to speak with someone online and you only give me BOTS as an option! I topped up my account twice already and because I topped date after the date i cannot now login into my acocunt. I am abroad, i need data and network to call, and nothing. I am so disappoint. This will the last time you will ever see a penny from me! To accept payment its easy! To confirm payments no to so much! REPUGNANT

Doesn't get more stars because something the login processes is confuse. You login but the screen remains the one for logging in.. and you need to press the top right corner to close the window and get access to your data. The apps seems also unavailable sometimes.

On top of the terrible usability (Vodafone should definitely hire better UX professionals), the app now doesn't even run anymore. "Error 500 - Internet Server Error". I'm seriously considering migrating to another operator. Their app/website isn't trustworthy at all.

Can't pay bill due to crashes I'd like to keep my account paid up, but if the app continues to crash every time I open it, that may not be possible. To respond to the vendor: my account is several months old, and the crashing happens intermittently. Reinstallation is never a smart solution. Learn how to catch and handle errors, especially with network issues.
