Edited: Support answered me and I'm waiting for the reimbursement because the full version is still not working. I would love to buy it again when it is working properly. My son loves it, so I paid 4.99 for the full version. And he loved it even more. But then just stopped working the full version, it's like I never paid for it, I went and checked by card statement and I went through and we played for some time, I'm not sure why stopped working. I try restored purchase and it didn't work

This app is sofun that years after I'm now older, I still find it adorably cute!! Thanks StoryToys, for the interesting app! Suggestion: instead of the butterfly flying away, maybe you could still take care of him! Then after a bit you get the option to let him go! That's my only problem.

Fun game even beyond 5 years. I had the game for over 4 years, both my kids still love it. I paid for full version and it was worth it. No ads, no in app purchases, follows the story well. To improve it even more please add more features Maybe a playground of swings/slides, building-knocking down tower of blocks, different flowers or plant your own tree which can give fruit on the last day. Also a counter showing how many caterpillars we hatched so far. All in all one of the best games we have

2 year old absolutely loves looking after her caterpillars and has hatched countless butterflies. The free version is enough to tell if they are interested in it but you will want to pay for the full version as they'll set off the paywall every other minute, so treat it as a demo. Best value of any app I've paid for.

This a great game. If you're having a stressful day and you just get on to the game and feed your caterpillar and play with it. If you think it's repetitive just keep playing and (eventually) you will turn into a butterfly. Then, you can do it over again and your sky/background will become filled with butterflys. This is just a good game even if your old you can still enjoy playing with a cute little caterpillar.

My daughter is 18 months old and LOVES feeding the caterpillar. This helps with her hand/eye coordination when pulling fruit from the tree, playing with the toys and the shape puzzle. The Very Hungry Caterpillar is one of her favorite books too! A small, one time fee unlocks all these things. It is well worth it! This game is educational and part of our daily activities.

The game was very cute and high tech. I liked so much that I paid to play more. However, the upgrade was not that grand, it's just opening just a few things more. After playing just a few times, I realized there is no more growth to the game. I thought the flowers should grow bigger or there should be more fruits added on as you keep playing but nope. It's just the same old thing.

Not for adults, but Google forced me to rate the game. Nice but simple 3D graphics compared to what the book shows. It's basically a game where you click on stuff and stuff do things. I wish the 3D graphics were not this lazy. They look fine, but for such a simple game you need something to shine and nothing does here. It does look like a game made in a few weeks. But for very small pre-school kids it's likely just fine for a day or so. There is no gameplay so it's perfect for clicking.

Beautiful! Gorgeous graphics, adorable story, neat interactive. Fantastic for training little fingers, teaching patience and entertaining. I have NEVER EVER played for an app! And just happily parted with a fair fee to open up the full game. No ads! No banners! My daughter loves the game and the music, she's learning the touch controls. I don't use my phone as a babysitter so we play together. Already hatched one butterfly. What an amazing, wholesome game!!! Seven stars!

Great, and beautiful to look at .My daughter and I have hatched many butterflies together now! I hope they continue to work on it as a few more surprises could give it more longevity. Here’s a few suggestions 1) more interesting things in the treasure chest, like new toys 2) more interesting/interactive plants to grow (an inept Venus fly trap might be quite fun!) 3) The musical blocks feel like the have more potential: maybe some new features could appear after a few butterfly hatching?

Bought it for me? It's so adorable I went and paid for it just bc I thought it was so cute! My daughter is preoccupied at the moment, but I'm sure she'll love it when she gets the uninterrupted chance!

Cutest game ever. Simple and so much fun. My toddler loves this games. I love how you can put caterpillar to sleep and the screen goes dark, giving me time to turn off tablet

Only downloaded the free version for now, but it's so cute and fun for my 3 year old! Easy for him to navigate by himself once I talked him through. I love that there's no ads, and a good variety of activities even for free. It's also cool that the activities reset and change each time the caterpillar goes to sleep. Will probably upgrade to the full version soon!

My 3-year-old is crazy about this game. I thought he would lose interest fast since it's pretty simple but he kept asking for it. I upgraded to the full version and feel like $7CAD was a bit much for such a simple game but he's pretty thrilled with the new stuff. It actually unlocks more new content than you'd expect, because there are some surprises like different treasure to dig up each day on the island. Plus some of the new interactions are pretty cute and it keeps your caterpaintings!

Only tried the free version as we couldn't afford the full version, but seems to be a great interactive app for when playing on the phone with the young ones.

One of the better games for young kids out there. Clearly very well crafted and lots of lovely little details. My only issue is that playing with toys and paint is mandatory to make the caterpillar sleep. My toddler would play it over and over if not for this, but she gets bored quickly when she's fed the caterpillar and it doesn't sleep like in the story.

Really great game for our toddler, but two things make it infuriating to use sometimes: the caterpillar can be VERY hard to move to the island when he sits behind the boat. In fact most items require extremely precise finger placement to engage... Makes sense for clustered items but not the caterpillar. Second, the DING from the balloons is ear piercing. Lower the volume on those bad boys Otherwise this is a very very fun, relaxing, accessible game for young toddlers, a rarity

My 2 yr old loves it, we did decide to pay for it, and we don't regret it! My child finds the ladybug toy to be the funniest part of the whole game, she loves watering plants (real life and in game), enjoys feeding the caterpillar, etc. My only maybe complaint is I've seen people turn their caterpillar into butterflies and grow other things but our game does not do that. She doesn't know any different so it doesn't effect us much but I'm sure it would be cool if it did.

I downloaded this to keep two toddlers I was babysitting busy, but it was so cute and detailed that all three of us spent hours playing it! I LOVE the physics of the painting section especially. The music is cute and not annoying, the graphics are adorable, the animation is perfect, and there's so much to do without being overwhelming or confusing for the little ones. I could even see me using it to calm down from a panic attack because it's relaxing. Highly recommend for anyone with kids!

Best toddler game. This is a beautiful game for 1-5 year olds. The graphics are well done and in the style of the book. My 3 year old loves this game to bits and gets excited watching the caterpillar eat. You definitely NEED to pay for it or use play pass to make the game worthwhile because most interactables are locked and would cause a lot of frustration when toddlers can't use them. Id love to see more content added with more activities!!
