My Sushi Story is a restaurant business simulation game that brings happiness to players. It features a wide variety of decor, appetizing Japanese dishes, and lovely characters.
The customers are upset? The staff is slacking off? The restaurant is too small? The food is bad?

You will go through the story of the restaurant in the game. It all begins when my grandma went to travel the world, leaving behind a slightly run-down sushi restaurant and a clumsy employee—Ono Ryota.

Running a sushi restaurant of my own has always been my dream, but I have no prior experience in doing so. For the sake of my dream and to fulfill my grandma's instructions, Ono and I embark on a journey of running a restaurant that is soothing, hilarious, and filled with ups and downs!

In this game, you will play as the boss of the sushi restaurant. You will create an assortment of Japanese dishes, make the daily purchasing plan, serve the customers, train the chefs and waiters, purchase items in the restaurants, and open a chain store.

The game features hundreds of facilities, thousands of dishes, a dozen employees, and dozens of characters. Everything is free to play. In the game, you can create dishes like pork katsu, sushi, ramen, tempura, wagyu beef, sashimi, udon, foie gras, desserts, grilled seafood, steak, and many others. Enjoy delicacies from all over the world!
[Your Goal]
Serve the customers, upgrade the facilities, create Japanese dishes, and collect good customer reviews!

It's fun for a while but then it becomes super boring. The price of everything becomes super expensive very quickly and the amount of money you get is not enough. The glutton minigame is the only fun gameplay the game has, and you can only play it 2 free times a day. The art is quite pretty and the npcs are quote nice but not a game for the long run honestly.

I really loved this game but since the new update, I have lost well over 200 gems due to the game force closing while I'm watching ads for hints for the match game. It then reloads and I have to start the game completely over. This has happened everyday, multiple times since the update. Extremely disappointing. Edit: it is normally happens on level 4 and 5 and yes it's always when an ad is being watched

It's a fun game and it's both easier and harder than hotpot story to level up. Easier because it costs money to upgrade staff and not just training manuals but harder because you get random ingredients to make meals instead of getting to pick which one to put energy into. EDIT: They fixed the error I was dealing with. Thank you!

Good, but a lot of ads. They're optional, but they sure do give a generous helping of them. -.5 stars for that. Sorry, but that's just how I feel about ad assault games. -.5 stars for the seemingly useless decision of forcing you to view the customer's receipt when you play manually. It needlessly slows down the beginning of the game and makes you beg for the sweet release of death. And staff who will put a stop to it. Who you can't hire right away because they're a bit expensive at first.

Enjoyable game overall and it's nice that ads are optional. However the game crashes a lot, both during ads and during gameplay. Needs more optimization for weaker phone models. Would be happy to increase the score if this issue is fixed but currently it's hard to really get into the game with it crashing every 10 minutes.

Not too many forced ads, the rewards for optional ads are phenomenal, gameplay is great. At first I thought the merge gameplay was weird for the type of game it is but it acutally became the feature that makes me keep coming back, especially the "big eater" gamemode. This is honestly the first mobile restaurant game that keeps me coming back to play everyday, especially because the ads are not intrusive. Whatever the devs are doing, they're doing it right!!

It's a fun game. But every time they play the Project makeover, my screen goes black. It just started happening about 30 min ago. I have to close the app in order to get it back to normal. If that commercial plays again, then the screen goes black again. Also, I paid for a $30 Upgrade Pack, and my training manuals disappeared. I haven't used them yet. There were over 200 of them

This game was pretty fun at first. There are a lot of ads but I could look past them for the most part. I've only been playing for a few days and the app is already crashing. This is a brand new phone so I shouldn't have this problem. I was playing the glutton mini game and I watched an ad to get a boost. The app just closed and took the chance I had and you only get two; that was my 2nd one. Hopefully it gets fixed

Forced ads and bonus ads. I'm reviewing this while currently waiting on a forced cooldown period for merging ingredients that I watched an ad to get. This game has both ads you can choose to watch for items AND forced ads (if you aren't watching enough ads on your own). You can pay to remove the forced ads but be aware, that won't remove the ads to speed up tasks. You'll still have to watch those after paying real money because, well more money 💰 of course.

This game is fun, but has become almost unplayable since the most recent update. The game would occasionally crash on me before, but now it's a gamble every time I take any action. It'll crash when: opening the build menu, opening the shop, trying to watch an ad, playing the Glutton mini game (which inturrups the game and wastes your chance at it), or literally just moving between screens in the restaraunt. Idk, maybe my phone is too old for this game 😕

Aside from being a little frustrated from the way the difficulty steeply rises, i kinda fell in love with the aesthetics of the game. Its something i can just leave running idle, do other stuff, and then come back to get cute upgrades. Still hate how heavily dependant the game is on getting ad rewards to get a bonus that makes it somewhat possible to progress.

Game is fun with multiple mini games. It's a restuarant tapping game with a puzzle merging mini game. However, the game is Ad heavy. It's almost 50/50 that every action you take, there will be an ad associated with it. After Chapter 1 or 2, you start getting "forced ads" where it will stop your game and show you an ad and then ask if you want to pay to remove the forced ads. If you're going to annoy your players to pay remove ads, that speaks volumes for the rest of the game.

Its a cute game that kills time. Its nice that you can play for free and just watch adds but the game crashes so much that its not worth what their asking for the subscription. I've lost gems multiple times because it crashed while i was doing the feeding minigame and it doesn't save progress. Hopefully they get it fixed because i do like it despite its shortcomings.

I have only 1 problem and it's the menu rating system, it's very hard to keep up with getting the ratings up because ypu can't upgrade them so far into the next level and the time you do upgrade it, the rating isn't to well. The rest of the game is cute and fun. The NPC's all have fun stories and the money is easy to make. The animation is also cute! I hope I can change my rating soon on the app if they fix my issue 💗

It was fun with optional ads until the second act when non optional ads pop up all the time. And my app crashes whenever they happen. There are optional ads for every aspect of the game, which is kinda excessive but fine since it's not pushy. But more ads on top of that? There's more ad time than game and I just want to uninstall at this point. It's a cute game, but in its current state not worth investing your time in

The colors are bright. The art style is cute. The upgrade system is not so great. I can't move on to Snow 1 because of my low menu rating. All of my dishes are upgraded as high as they can be, and each time I create a dish, it's a duplicate. I haven't created a new dish in some time now, so I can't increase my menu rating. I guess the game stops here for me?

I've downloaded My Sushi Story about a week ago, and I have really been enjoying it. I like the game style and everything, but I am leaving three stars because I've seem to have gotten to a point where adds keep popping up more frequently other than at first they weren't even as bad... they were basically a choice? But now it's just getting to where it just pops up randomly. It's quite annoying. Unfortunately, I don't care enough to pay to remove them. The game is good, though. Thank you! 👍

I'm day 2 of playing this game and I'm done with it. It gets pretty laggy sometimes, to the point that I'll get kicked out of the app, and my phone's not even old. You run out of space for customers which results in customers walking out of line and losing business. I often run out of things to do as well, and things become way too expensive too quick, which makes me wait hours out of game for enough money to spend in a heartbeat. The decor is cute but no customization. Fun to try but not keep.

Game is cute & immediately addictive, but gets tiresome quickly when having to rank up. I'm still playing it, but it would help if there were more to do than just pay real money or watch ads to advance things quicker. Edit: Lowering the stars because the further you go, the worse it gets. Side games are repetitive and boring. Everything costs a fortune. And sometimes I can't collect offline income because I'm plagued with popups to buy a monthly pass. No thanks.

this game is amazing except for 1 thing! ive been playing it for hours and its super aesthetic and super fun. but i just dont like how expensive everything is. it can get very boring trying to continuously get money to buy stuff for the restaurants looks so then i can open more areas which AGAIN also is super expensive. i just want it to be easier to open more rooms cause im not even close to getting the 2nd private room and its taking forever. other than that its fun!
