The My H-E-B app simplifies grocery shopping with its user-friendly interface and convenient features like digital coupons and personalized recommendations. The option for curbside pickup and delivery adds flexibility, but occasional technical glitches and slow loading times can be frustrating. Improvements in stability would enhance the overall experience. Nonetheless, it's a valuable tool for H-E-B shoppers.

Most of the time my coupons don't scan despite being in date and having the correct items. It won't clip the same coupon more than once when there's no limit. I've had several times where I scanned digideals in store and they won't show in the app. You also can't unclip coupons. I think I'll just stick to the instore paper coupons.

Every time I attempt to add my grocery selection from a list I get the error "something went wrong we had trouble adding that list to your cart. Please try again in a few seconds." Then upon further review my cart is full of items I never selected. I had previously spent time on the phone with a representative, sent in an email with screen shots, and never received a response.

The choice to change the functionality so that items which are crossed off the list show up in the main section with other items was very ill-conceived. It was much better before when items that had been checked off appeared at the very bottom of the list. It's so tough to shop with the shopping list now having to scroll through hundreds of items I no longer need. Update: 2/11/2024: something happened and again the list is organized oddly such that items in the same aisle are spread throughout.

Will not allow me to log in, keeps asking for permissions, which I grant, then goes back to log on screen to do it all over. Cleared cache, and data, and deleted and reinstalled... All to no avail. When using app, biggest issue is YOU CAN'T SHARE A SHOPPING LIST! So my wife has to write or recite a list to me or vice versa if either one goes to store without other. Very frustrating!

Two things I love are 1) it remembers what Ive purchased before and flags the items with a "buy again" tag which cuts down on the browsing and scrolling time, and 2) the app allows me to specify down to how ripe (or green) I want my peoduce. Plus, it has a "notes" section under each item for further specifications if necessary. App is extremely easy to navigate. The one thing I don't like is that some items I KNOW they have, I can't order online. They block some items (few) from online orders.

Adding pharmacy was a mistake, you have more to do to access your account. Now you have to put in your password every time, it doesn't allow for biometric sign-on. Additionally after every time now you have to select "Allow". You are agreeing that the pharmacy portion, ON THE APP, can access your data THAT'S IN THE APP. It was a little annoying that it was a second app, the pharmacy app was easier to operate. Side note, it's super irritating that the name of the app doesn't start with Heb.

The App makes me want to find a New place to shop. Just use regular paper coupons and keep customers happy. I get up to the counter, there's an issue with the app coupon and I am stuck with paying full price on an item I would not have bought at all, w/out the coupon. Last time a similar issue, but I just left it with the checker. I avoid other stores bc of all this "Credentials" type garbage, and heb is starting.... Just put out simple paper coupons. I'm giving you my money. Irritating.

This app sucks hard compared to the old one. The old one was stable and easy. This one is buggy, unintuitive, and the identity management clearly has issues (too many logins). You know what happens with poorly designed apps? They get breached and then everyone's data ends up on the dark web. Really hope they fix these issues.

HEB is a great store and their curbside experience has been greatly improved since my last review. However this app is storing 0.5GB of data. Idk what that could be. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say it's just very poorly optimized and they're not storing tons of data they shouldn't be, but that's still kinda sketchy and annoying.

These developers are absolute mickey-mouse-shop amateurs, who left out the most basic of app functionalities. "Let's allow end users to, at the tap of a button, add 100 items to the cart without so much as an "are you sure you want to?" message, then give them no way to undo or back out of the change. That will be fun for them to go through the cart and zero out items 100 different times! AND the app will be slow AF on a 950 Mbps connection, so they'll be a forced to WAIT 100+ times!"😃

overall outstanding, quick and easy to use. Very helpful to me as cant go out now. Main issue, not really huge. But sometimes a wee bit of challenge to find right search term for search engine to find desired item. Most of time fine but occasionally hit and miss. But as former programmer analyst considering posdibly 100s of thousands of items in your inventory, and wide variety of way people subjectively think, I am amazed how incredibly accurate it normally works. But eg today bit of game reall

Good app. One thing I would change is the way that the lists work. Currently, the only thing you can do is add the entire list to your cart. What would be better is if you could select items from your list to add to your cart. Although there is a checkbox I have no idea what it's for because it doesn't seem to accomplish anything. Another thing would be to have some type of home button fixed on the screen. Navigation functionality is lacking because you have to hit the back button too much.

Still love your stores but the digital coupons on the app broke with the last update and I just got an error message when I try to "view more" *update, newest version of the app seems to have fixed the issue I was having with the digital coupons through the app. Fingers crossed they continue to work and actually all go through at the register when I check out.

I love the feature within the app that makes shopping easier but noticed a fre issues. One was that some of the items I had on my shopping list aren't there when I go to store and only remember walking past an issue or once I am home. Another was that not all the coupons I clipped were taken but I did buy the correct item, and the meal deal has not worked at all the last two times for me.

So easy to use! Just so happy to have a simple, navigatable interface. Edit: Ever since the 04.24.2024 update, I have not been able to login to my app. When the app asks for permissions on my phone, I get a message saying something went wrong and to try again later. It has been a week- how much longer is later :< I have already uninstall and reinstalled the app.

There is no way to see how much your shopping list is unless you decide to add it all to the cart, but you can't add it all to the cart unless your chosen store has curbside. I'd like to be able to create my list with a total so I can actually budget my shopping trip. HEB charges extra for curbside, and while convenient, I can't always afford the extra $10-$20 for my groceries. Please please change it so I can see how much my list is without changing it to curbside. Very inconvenient

6-6-2024 The newer updates are nice. I do wish it would tell you in app what isle things are at with a map of the store with a pin on the map showing the location of the item. That along with a grocery list for people wanting to shop in store but like the help of a map to find everything. It would make the experience even better for the shopper.

I dislike the lack of ability to review a curbside order. It should not just be about reporting an item missing or damaged. Sometimes you also want to recognize exceptional service either the shopper or employee that delivers the order. In addition the coupon search is not comprehensive and it often takes several search terms to get what I want. The store is great; the app could be better.

A notification sent to you when an item is out of stock is needed. Not everyone dials in their order the day of; I work on the list throughout the weeks and I'll add items gradually to build up the cart, forget about it and order everything, assuming I'll have all my groceries, only to freak out when I was "missing" something, just find it taken off my list without warning. This app has undeniably helped me and my father, but we need better communication between its users and the backend.
