Very very poor. Logged in, put in password but then the app just sits there. Does not respond to anything I do. As far as the phone service itself, Internet connection is extremely slow, and occasionally (1 or 2 every couple weeks) drops calls. I have been with cc for about 4 months now but I wish I had stayed with my previous service provider.

Makes me login manually every single time. Used successfully just once. Tried using it a second time which is when I was presented with having to fill in my login credentials. Useless to me. I use complex passwords and don't remember them for every login. Saving my credentials for ease of login should go without saying - flawless. It does not save the credentials. You may note many people on here commenting on CC as a cell provider NOT commenting about this app. I'm rating the app.

What happened to the app? I've been using this app for years and since the latest update it doesn't work. I'm using a samsung flip 4. What gives? Update!!! After the 1-13-23 Update the app has improved but I am still having problems on certain pages with scrolling. Also this new app is very limited compared to the old app. No finger print log in and difficult to navigate. This new app still needs a lot of work.

Can't login with the app. Can't connect with the website. Can't connect to the internet half the time. Tired of waiting hours to speak with a real live person. Terrible service all the way around. To add insult to injury you can't uninstall the app and reinstall it, only revert to a prior installation. Something is very wrong with Consumer Cellular. Even communicating via email has gone 3rd party.

I love Consumer Cellular and their customer service "rocks", at least from my experience with grandpad and cellphone, but the app needs help. I don't use it much because I feel is pretty much useless. As others have stated, it makes you log in everytime and seemingly forgets your number and password. I've written mine down as to not forget myself but it never seems to work. Maybe there's a timeout period, where it forgets the info if you don't use the app, not sure.

Still think CC is fantastic but wonder where the App icon went on my husband's Android since the update. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it to no avail. Please fix or offer a solution as we check our usage daily. I'll see if I can go to an earlier version prior to update(?) Glitches happen and I don't fault CC, have had nothing but great service all the around. Note: It's still present and functioning on my iPhone.

Prior to the update the app was excellent. I could open it without having to log in and now I have to every time despite saving my password to the phone. And most of the time it just spins and never lets me in. Everything was clear and basic. It didn't need to be "fancied up". The one time I got in, I wasn't able to scroll down the page to update my payment information.

A very easy app to use once you get past the login stage, which can be frustrating at times. But once you're set up is complete it's a very good app to have Updated: 1/12/23 - unfortunately ever since the new update on this app I am no longer able to get into this. My information is correct, but it just sits there and spins. It worked much better the old way. Now I have to go on line to see the balance and such. Bring back the old app, and stop making enhancements until you've tested them.

App doesn't work; cannot log in at all. Cannot get into the website while traveling internationally (it is blocked; been trying for days), so am trying the app, and it outright does not work. CC is good in the US but we always have trouble when we go outside the US, despite one of us having a T Mobile chip and the other AT&T, both with international calling, data, roaming, etc., turned on.

Before I had autopay it was easy to just touch the icon on the preinstalled app and touch Pay My Bill. Did it for years. Would only have to log in again if I deleted the cache on my phone. With autopay, I don't have to use the app much. It has always been easy to change my plan. Customer service people by phone or online chat have been helpful and courteous every time. Rural service (in the summer) isn't consistent except near towns. With wifi calling in the house, I can manage quite well.

Not so user-friendly. It doesn't save login credentials, requiring entering the password pretty much every time. Fingerprint not recognized either. On opening the app, a message pops up saying that CC is having technical problems, thus not able to access account information. I never know whether the app is displaying current data. The app does not meet expectations. If CC is interested, I can provide screenshots of all these issues. Just post a link to a debugging page where I can post them all.

Signal is not what is advertised! Signal is sketchy at best! Considering a switch to a different carrier. Calls and messages not getting to my device. Some as late as 24 hours later. Calls being dropped constantly! This is not a rating on the app, but instead on the carrier itself. Areas where my other phone and services work, through my other provider, Consumer Cellular is dead ( no signal at all)!

I am getting annoyed at Consumer Cellular for locking me out of a 3 month old phone, without any notice, as they quietly discontinued support for a Samsung A34. Then they locked me out of MY account for 24 hours for using a password/pin which they thought was the wrong one. Turned out it wasn't the wrong one but that did not matter. And all this just before a 7 week trip where a phone is essential. The app does some things but provided no help here. People either. Hugely frustrating.

There's no point to install an app when it doesn't fully function directly from the app itself. Half the time this app redirects to the website where you must log in AGAIN. As other reviewers stated, it scrolls down a tiny bit then hits an abrupt stop even though it's not the end of the page. Plus, with these glitches, the security is likely to be flawed also, so I don't trust being able to pay through the app. Useless to have installed until it's fixed.

The app should be better from a service provider. App is slow and doesn't provide individual info for customer. Basically a bill statement without a clear explaination of charges. I was quoted a price when I switched service but charged more the first month. I contacted customer service they told me it was my error (it was not, I wrote down everything the woman said about the service and billing details) and they would apply the deal in future. Still not right.

Great app! Great product!! I'm paying a fraction ($25/ month) of what I would pay to other phone providers. Of course I download most of my data from my home Wi-Fi and don't stream from the Consumer Cellular data plan. And I don't spend a lot of time talking on the phone. They do have plans with higher talk and data limits that cost more. But I would rather use the plan wisely and save my money for other stuff. By the way, the couple of times I contacted them for help, they were very helpful!

This app used to be great. I had control over each phones data usage etc. Now I can't even see half the information, let alone be able to control how much data each phone cam use. What a joke for an app! The app still doesn't work right, and you still can't look at new phones from the app. You have to go to the browser and search for phones there.

All of a sudden it would not bring it up so I signed in and it kept failing. I changed our password for our account and it will work fine on the computer to bring up usage but continues to fail on the app. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my consumer cellular phone 3 times, but it still fails to get me into the app. Why does it just disconnect when on auto?

Service constantly turned off by carrier. No warnings. Can't log into my account. No reason. They won't text me a password reset, only email, but then won't let me change password. Forced to call customer service and the online chat is useless. Can't switch anything, get hold of a knowledgeable person, or ever get into my account. Always frustrating dealing with them.

My Consumer Cellular is a useful app for managing your Consumer Cellular account on the go. It provides easy access to billing information, usage details, and plan changes. However, the interface feels a bit dated and could be more intuitive. Additionally, occasional bugs and slow loading times detract from the overall experience. Overall, it gets the job done but could use some improvements for a smoother user experience.
