I've been using this app for years, and I have to say, the data migration to the new version was seamless. The new user interface is refreshing and intuitive, so there’s hardly any re-learning curve. Even though there are plenty of newer, flashier apps out there, I still prefer this one. It's perfect for budgeting, tracking income and expenses, and the widgets are incredibly useful. What I love most is that you pay once, no recurring costs. This app truly is my go-to for managing my finances.

I have been a fan and keen user of the My Budget Book app for many years, and I was happy to see there was this new edition in the works. Aside from the design refresh, the changes made - while subtle - are quite useful (e.g. Being able to see period and current balance at the same time). My only thing is I would love to be able to untoggle the bold numbering, as I always preferred these amounts to be in regular text. Otherwise, this is a wonderful change. Thank you for the hard work!

The best app EVER to manage your money. I've tried them all and this is by far the most complete, well-built and packed of features. Many helpful charts and stats to see money flows at a glance. The interface can be personalised up to tiniest detail. The calendar that allows to see one's account balance every day of the month in a single view is a unique feature that you won't find anywhere else. I'd grade it 10 stars if I could. I feel sorry for iPhone users since they can't use this app!!

I've just switched to this Pro release, so still learning all the new options! It's modern & still easy to navigate. I had the original since 2015 & its been crucial to balancing my books, learning to budget better, clean up & keep track of finances to see where my money goes. It's easy to personalize: categories, charts, etc; possibilities are endless. There's no ads & no internet connection required, so info is safe. I highly recommend! Tip: Keep an updated back up. Developer is responsive.

I've been using My Budget Book since 2021, and been very impressed with it. I wanted an phone app as easy to use and as powerful as Quicken was on desktops, and MBB was the best I found. It did miss a couple of features I would have liked, the main one being the ability to split a transaction across multiple categories. I recently asked their support if this was planned and was told about this Pro version. It has a very good implementation of that feature, and I upgraded to it. Great software.

Best budget app I've ever used. Reasonably priced, no subscriptions, and doesn't require bank account info. It provides the most useful information to not just keep up to date but helps so much to plan. Its also really fast to use.

I would say that there is quite a steep learning curve with this app. However, once the methods and routine of entering data are mastered the various means of viewing and analysing budget data make the effort worthwhile. This app has made a significant contribution to managing my finances and clearly a lot of hard work had gone into developing it. So, many thanks to the developer for this really useful tool !

Can't see the point of this upgrade?. It is more flashy with more diagrams. But fundamentally, there is no difference from the old app, which I have been using for years, and I am very pleased with it. UPDATE Having now now used the new app for a couple of months ,I now think it is a great improvement on the old one, although basically the same, the interface is much easier to use and the charts are quite helpful.

As a long-time user of the prio non pro version, I'm absolutely blown away by the "soft refresh" in My Budget Book Pro for Android! The new design is clean, modern, and makes navigating the app a breeze. It's not just a pretty face though; the added functionality takes this already excellent budgeting app to a whole new level. This is hands-down the best budgeting app I've found. It's intuitive, powerful, and now even more user-friendly.

The UI is too cluttered, lacks clarity. Tried this app for a week after using 1Money for longer time. While the graphs are nicer, the lack of clarity and colors, icons makes this app slower to work with. It's truly painful to use this with more than 3-4 accounts. After adding about 10 of them it's just confusing to add any single payment. Functionality-speaking its good and the price is right. Trial could be little longer, like 2 weeks. After failed trial I'm back to the previous app.

This app is excellent when you want to manually track your finances. Having the split-transaction feature in the pro version is also a great addition. The customer service is always fantastic. Anytime I have a question, I receive a detailed and helpful response within a few hours.

I've been using the original My Budget Book, off and on for a few years. Now that Andreas has published a new and updated version, I have purchased and am using it full time. It is a great app and the price can't be beat. Thanks for all of your hard work to develop the app and the quick and personal support you provide.

I used the original app daily for a long time; it is excellent. As soon as I found out you created the Pro version, I installed it in my phone. Loved that I could load my previous app backup. Just by looking at the new Home Screen, I immediately purchased the Premium version. Purchasing the Premium Version was the first transaction I saved in this Pro app, LOL. Excellent app, simply the best app I can have in my phone, very well organized. If I had more characters, I would continue this review..

I've tried so many budget apps and this one is the best I've found! I've been quite picky about what I look for in a budget app after using the now unsupported AnMoney for many years and My Budget Book was the closest I had found to the amount of features that was actually easy to use without having a clunky and ugly UI. The only thing I can see to improve now is credit card support like credit limits.

I'm still in the trial, but I fully intend to purchase. I've been using the original version since 2017. It's one of my most used and appreciated apps. I haven't found another budget app that is easy to navigate while providing so many features to track my expenses. The Pro version builds upon the original by adding a few features I've wanted such as the calendar tab and widget options, and a few I didn't know I needed like tab sorting and split transactions. Thank you dev!

Not sure how long I used the old app, but I'll probably use the upgraded version until I forget too. It does precisely what's on the tin. A minor wish, but I'm not sure how feasible it is, would be to have the ability to enter amounts for future transactions based on the balance of the accounts at a certain day. Like a transfer at the end of the month of 50% of remaining funds in a checking account to a savings account. Minor wishes aside, the app is as close to perfect as you might want.

My Budget Book App allowed us to keep an excellent ledger of expenses, savings, balances, and through its transfer function, money moving, interests, credits and payments. Whoever thought the developer coudn't do better was wrong. He shows pride of his work, and came out with a superior version. The Pro logical interface, smart search and sorting, automatic backups, easy budget making, category splitting and graphs galore enhances the experience. All to keep us organized and money goal oriented.

Using My Budget Book for many years now, and I'm glad to go Pro and support the responsive developer. Clean UI, lots of settings (even red/green shades for expenses/income of the colorblind!), and easy data entry; Pro draws me in with Split Transactions, and I'd like to learn more about how I can benefit from the visualization options. Tips for the new and upgrading: tap below the + on the widget to select accounts; long-press the app icon for shortcuts; see the built-in manual via Support.

The Pro app is fantastic. I've used the previous version for 7 years. This is still is the best financial app I've used. The Pro version takes the app to another level. Best way I've found to track income, expenses and investments in a secured manner. Budgeting is a breeze. New savings goal is a welcomed addition. The cards on the home page give a at-a-glance status of your finances. Kudos to the developers.

Overall a very solid app. I've been using my budget book for years to keep myself on track. I do have two complaints. You can select the widget to display its own account instead of the app selected one. Great, but when I click the button to add a transaction, it defaults to the app selected, not what's on the widget, making it easy to add it to the wrong account. My main reason for 4/5 is when you open the app, it doesn't scroll to today. You have to find it yourself. This gets confusing.
