The best emulator app in the market. Allows for you to play all Gameboy titles and is also compatible with several cheat code programs which allow for mods and alterations in certain games. Has a potential "speed up" button that can help you skip through boring lectures or repetitive animations. The complete version gives you the availability of quick save and quick loading games. A most have for nostalgic gamers.

This app appears to be the grand one out of many GBA Emulators. For one, this one doesn't really require internet just to play the games. You can go to Airplane Mode and it's basically turning your phone into a GBA. I'm also not nitpicky about saving once as I use the actual game files to save my progress within the game. So I don't really care for the GBA Emulator saving progress. I just use the Pokemon own save files or Lunar Legend way of saving. Some just like to complain...

Tested a bunch of GBA emulators with the Golden Sun games, and this one, in terms of video, is the best by far. Smooth as butter and the only one with zero lag during graphically intensive attack animations. However, the sound is more fuzzy and lower quality than others, and some sounds don't show up at all (eg normal attacks), which makes this emulator unusable for me.

I am using this on my phone. I used a save slot, which said you cannot have multiple save slots in free version. Which is fine. It still saved to the one save slot. Then when I try to load it says you can only load from one save slot in the free version. Which again is fine but it does not load. Not sure if this is an error or a way to force you into buying full version to recover your saved data. i have tried emailing support but did not get a response...

Loading a save state makes you watch an ad, which is acceptable for a free app. However, after a few loads, there is an error loading ads, and save states cannot be loaded anymore. This is a cheap trick to make people buy the full version, and is predatory in nature. Works as an emulator outside of that.

It's a great app for GBA fans but there's a problem....if you wanna hold two buttons at once sometimes I hold the A and B button then for no reason the Emulator didn't detect that I'm holding the A button.So I hope they can fix that.And one more thing for me it kept on crashing for some reason....I don't know why but could you guys fix the crashing problem again??Overall Great Emulator,Easy to use and Nice graphics!! OVERALL SCORE OF (My opinion)....9/10.👍👍👍.

Excellent emulator, probably the best GBA emulator out there. I've been using it for the past two years on three different devices. However, when trying to load a save state, the "error loading ad" issue gets incredibly frustrating incredibly fast especially because it's completely random and occurs even when you have mobile data or wifi enabled. Why include it in the first place if it's not going to work properly? That's my only complaint and why I can't give the app the perfect rating.

This is an incredible GBA rom emulator complete with multiple save state slots, total control of the button size/posititioning, and an easy to use file navigator. Though it doesn't come with the ability to find GBA roms independently, they can be found online and those files can be accessed and played through this app with great efficiency. Well done!

Here's my experience with My Boy! Pros: Runs great, smooth and clear in both picture and sound. You can also use cheats if so desired, not my thing, but hey to each their own. Rating: 5/5 Stars Cons: The classic Save/Load State that has been offered free in nearly all emulators is deactivated in this one and held hostage for $4.99 making it available only on it's "Full Version". Rating: 0/5 Stars Overall: It's a solid app, minor cash grab. No ads in my run. Get it. Dont get it. Up to You!

This emulator has served me almost flawlessly for a while but I have an issue that I'd like to see resolved. I'm using a real controller connected to my phone, and I am unable to move in any diagonal direction in-game using a controller, since the key mapping doesn't allow me to map combos, and it only recognizes four directions from the circular d-pad. Please fix this

Seriously? The emulator warns you that you can't save or load from multiple slots using the free version. It DOES NOT warn you that you can't actually load from ANY slots AT ALL. Meaning the one and only rom I'm playing at the moment can't load a save state. So I can't access my save game unless I pay $5. For one save slot. That's ridiculous. I get you need to make some money, but not allowing even one free save slot to really try out the emulator is not the way to get paying customers.

I don't really see anything to complain about with this App, it's allowed to experience games from an Era before my time and thats all that really matters to me. Under the senerio that there is a lag Spike or an AD ( which for me is almost never) I'd say its a fair trade for being able to access a variety of games for free.

Really really solid emulator. Easy to navigate and use, lots of potions. I paid for it I liked it that much. My only complaint is the control button are kind slippery? I would say. And like the hit boxes for them feel a little too big, I often have issues with the d-pad randomly sending my left while I'm walking down. Or hitting the B button and the D-pad sending me up. I'd like them to be a bit more precise. But I still find it easy to use and solid over all.

Generally a good app. I had no issues that the free version only allows one save slot per game without paying... but now I see I can't load my one save slot. An error pops up saying that "loading from multiple save slots is not allowed in the free version." Except I'm only trying to load one save slot. This emulator is pretty useless without the ability to save.

It works, most of the time, but as I've tried to use the load function more and more for soft resets it's clear there is an intentional error inserted in the coding that prevents you from loading the game for a period of time. The error message indicates it is unable to load the required ad and that you either need to buy the full version or wait. Which is completely ridiculous that an app that advertises to be free with the ability to load will prevent itself from doing so.

If you want to just play a ROM with nothing special, this app works fine. If you want to be able to save and load state whenever you'd like, not the app for you. After lots of use, it is obvious there is code to only allow you to load your saved state and watch an ad a certain amount of times before they give you a "Error loading Ad." You either have to wait a few hours or buy the paid version to avoid this.

Great emulator, the settings are nice and varied, controls are responsive. Only gripe I have is it won't let you load savestates unless you load an ad too. I know why, gotta get that revenue and all but my signal gets spotty out in the boonies so having 'error loading ad. Try again later' pop up when I'm trying to load up my quicksave is annoying.

Good app, runs smoothly and good audio quality. Ads run to load save states which is fine most of the time. If they can't load any ads it just wont let you in to your save, which I get, but I've been trying to get to my save right before a boss in metroid fusion for the last 20 min and it wont let me. I just dont want to take the long walk back to that spider guy. Over all good app. Just wish it could load the ads more consistantly.

I love this emulator so much, except for one minor detail. During the games, the buttons seem to be slightly delayed, which makes it impossible for me to play any Mario, Zelda, Sonic, any action, fast-paced games. I don't know if it's a problem with the app or my phone, but the app is fantastic regardless, especially for being free!

Works well for what it is. Functional and everything, but there are some catches. For instance, this version only permits you to have a single save/load state, and requires you to watch an ad if you'd like to load the save state. Only allows 2X Fast Forward in this version, but allows up to 16X in the paid version, which I personally find redundant. The ad requirement to load a save state is also sort of redundant, seeing as it already has the single save slot as a drawback to using the free one
