This is my favorite app.. I love looking up gear and reading the specs.. I do wish there was more details on the used products.. but I def. Understand y they dont.. it would be very hard n time consuming to write it for every item.. . Qhen they csn just look as t the new product for the details. And inlike how many choices or options there is to refine your search down to so many deteils.. to really narrow your search. .

Really bad sales customer support. They have an option to open a credit account to purchase with promotion, but once you are approved there is no way for you to use it without the actual credit card on your hand. Promotion over and wasn't able to purchase what i want. You will wait for atleast 20-30 minutes for their chat support, but once you idled for even 1 minute even in the middle of a conversation you will be logged off the chat. Decided to close my card and purchase at sweetwater instead.

Terribly glitchy app. It's so hard to order anything or manage your account. Probably one of the worst apps I've used in a long time. On the plus side, their customer service is excellent. So if you're planning on placing an order, save yourself the frustration and just call them

So far I'm happy with everything from this company. They are well managed from top to bottom. Will never buy from Amazon again. The service, shipping, and contactability is superb, and I have yet to have an single issue. I would recommend to all instrumentalists.

It is easier to use a browser and open tabs when trying to compare things. On the app, if I want to look at a particular item, and then go back, I have to reselect categories and filters etc., difficult app to shop on...

I have been a card member of musicians friends since 1995. The new app is useful. I use the app when I am away from my computer and it displays the information I see on the website. We can all use little speed on internet service. The service is top notch. I have taken advantage of the "Stupid Deal of Day" for years. Delivery is fast and products are as advertised. I consider Musiciansfriends the best company in the market for music gear at rock bottom prices.

I really like musicians friend, they get a lot of criticism, but they're so awesome. I assume it's competitors bombing them. I've been buying equipment from them for years and never had a problem, actually they exceed my expectations and are often throwing deals around to the extent that I don't even understand how they make a profit. Customer service is also friendly and very helpful.

Unless, you close down app, new deal doesn't show up (when they have multiple deals). Also, if you are a guitar player then this app is for you because 90% of the deals are on guitars. I'm a drummer and in the past two months I haven't seen a decent drum/percussion deal listed in this app. Regardless, I love the store but this "special deal app" doesn't do much for me.

Extremely buggy app. Searching is a pain and often just doesn't work. Past or current orders will not load and give errors. Earned points show even after being used. It asks you to sign in again even though you are signed on to the app. The ordering experience is awful, days after you place any online or app order, they leave you a message asking you to call them back and confirm the order, which defeats the purpose of using the app. For preorders, be prepared to have your card run once a week.

Very awkward and clumsy app. Wishlist and product alerts work inconsistently. It frequently tells me I don't have any wishlists or product alerts. The only reason I downloaded the app is because the website is so buggy. The wishlist functionality on the site is completely broken and I constantly get signed out. Now I realize the app is no better. They are lucky they offer 8% rewards points, otherwise I'd be buying from another store.

When you search something in the app, it bugs out and you have to search it up 3 more times in order to find what you're looking for. And sometimes, just out of nowhere it crashes. Even just doing simple things, like adding something to the cart, and they have done little to nothing to fix these simple problems.

apps are supposed have some advantage over just using your browser... this one doesn't. Also, since the latest update, you can't so much as get past the first screen without enabling notifications. Sure, some people may want every app on their phone to constantly bug them. But for everyone else, screw you from musicians friend, because you can't even use the app. Quite bold of mf to assume people want the app so badly we won't uninstall it once we find out we can't use it without notification

Another Botched Update Released WAY TOO SOON. Most headings have the final letter missing (Example: "Shop" is rendered "Sho"). Many Misalignments of content. Old app kept flashing notice that app version was outdated, must get update. Google play shows it came out in early May, nearly a month ago. Why didn't Google play automatically update it like every other app that has a new version or update? It's not like my Zfold is a brand new model. Nice job breaking what didn’t need fixing.

Slow and crashes frequently. Easier to just go to the site so not really worth it. Doesn't help make anything easier. Didn't do anything bad to me or my phone so I added a star for lack of damage. MF should focus on getting their site flaws, particularly item descriptions, and particularly their "used" items from Guitar Center, improved, before they worry about an app.

What A Terrible App! Extremely Buggy! Searches rarely work. They constantly bring up the phone's keyboard, with no results. So you end up clicking on your search term, over and over again. How many times do I have to click before it shows me results? I updated to latest version with no improvement. For such a large corporation, can't you afford to hire competent developers? Sweetwater, Reverb, etc don't have anywhere near this many issues. This app hasn't worked for months.

I like ordering from Musician's Friend, but this app really needs some help. It's extremely slow and very buggy. For example, whenever I submit an order, it freezes and never goes to a confirmation screen. The only way I know the order went through is when I receive an email. I've also had problems with it booting me out, not being able to place orders, app not responding, etc.

whenever I want to buy something musical (strings, instruments, whatever) I always check Musician's Friend first. They have a great selection and their customer support supports you even when you don't think you need it. Trust me, you need it. I just bought some new strings for my 12 string for free because of points I have from previous purchases. Hardly any loops to jump through. They deserve a ton of respect.

This is no reflection on Musician's Friend service and products, as I have always been very satisfied, being a customer for years. But the app is terribly slow and most options are not working. Will not even bring up my account. Just spins. Shopping and More tabs on bottom bring up nothing. I love Musician's Friend. Please fix. I have a Moto e-5 Cruise. Thanks! Update 11/15/18: New version still not working for me. Same issues as above. 09/17/19: No improvement. Same issues as above persist.

Would love to give this app a positive review, but I've tried to login about 30 some times and have not made it a second without crashing. I want to purchase things on the app and accrue rewards points, that can add up quickly. I just can't login to the app and the app itself crashes CONSTANTLY. I'm keeping the app just in case these issues get fixed.

I really like the app. However, with that said it's pretty much just another Guitar Center app. Everything I've ever bought has been shipped from various Guitar Centers. And this makes customer service random at best. When you call Musician's Friend their customer service people are great. But if they have to refer you to Guitar Center the customer service depends on the individual store. And most GC's don't give a damn about the customer after the sale.
