I can easily get lost in this app as I'm still a music theory beginner. There are tons of stuff I need to learn in music theory to understand how to use this app. But still, really love it for providing so many options like playback, finding matching chords etc. Will definitely become a yearly subscriber! Hats off to the team π

this thing is amazing, extremely helpful for getting ideas out of your head, it keeps blowing my mind, the scale picking is amazing enough with the chords, but you can also study making complex chords with all terms and names in the chord library, with such a helpful table. i am still discovering new features in it and i have been a user since a few months. each option is a whole new tool, and all those tools are advanced and amazing

This app is so mwa mwaπππ all the theories in it very mesterious to the one new to music , but easy to practice to the one havinging some knowledge about music. But a here is a request , if can add more settings for the key board like, put some styles .and voices majorly settings like of those of a keyboard so that it adds more efficiency when using the composer , but all in all thank you for the great idea. I recommend this app for producers if u r passing by it is help full to u.

Great app however recently that advertisements are getting too invasive and opting out of the mountains of advert tracking in the privacy options just takes far too long so I've uninstalled. To be clear, I can live with adverts. It's the inability to opt out of tracking easily which is the problem.

This is amazing! The app has opened up a whole new world of music theory. The wheel of 5ths alone is something of brilliance. The ability to listen to chord progression quickly and accurately with out (as a new learner) spending 20 minutes at the piano to address the chords and then learning a possible mistake is a massive time saver. This is really going to help with my theory courses. Thank you

I downloaded this app expecting another gimicky music app with few features and purpose... I was wrong. This app is used daily by me while practicing guitar as I can quickly reference new and old scales, chords, etc. Its the perfect tool to compose and have fun with; all scales, chords, and notes can be played back to you easily along with a very logical interface that facilitates learning. You have an option to view the scales, chords, and notes on a piano keyboard and also a guitar fretboard.

Actually a pretty awesome app, presents a good set of options for exploring ideas and harmonic movements. Could you guys possibley add an option for 'chord creation' where you could insert notes and have the app tell you all the ways it could be named, and maybe the option to invert a chord once selected. Also, its a bit awkward to not have the option to copy, paste or drag chords freely on the 'composer' screen. 3 stars mainly because handling chords is quite annoying.

This is developed with love for music and aspiring musicians. (Just for the first day) Edit: After this review there was a blitz of ads, especially a lot of video ads everytime I navigate between sections, and that is too distracting. Too bad. Edit2: upon further use and discovery, I have to note that this app has an impressive set of tools.

Brilliant app if youre starting to learn theory or want to brush up. Being a novice, the scale practice tool is incredibly handy. I dont want to have to rely on charts, learning by ear and making the connections in my own head are easier as it listens to the notes you play and recognises them, trusting your instrument is in tune. Well worth the 1 pound odd for a year to subscribe. Very happy!!

I have no clue what I am doing yet this app is very useful to understand concepts and YouTube lessons on my own. I can see how this (the free version) can be an invaluable tool to anyone dabbling especially with some background of music theory.

Android/LG phone. Used this for a long time but I'm deleting it. Ads were fine but now it has changed where the banner ads block the user interface. Banner ad covers the drop down menus for scales and pushes the fretboard down where only half is visible. And asking a monthly fee of $5 just to view a couple of scales is a terrible idea. It was a *GREAT* app before these changes were made. Deleted.

So far I couldn't ask for more out of a music theory app. This app helps me tremendously because I'm new to music. My only gripe is the subscription model for the vip membership. Shouldn't we be able to choose to subscribe or have a one time payment? I'm more than happy to pay say..$10. I believe this would be a win win. The consumer doesn't have to worry about yet another subscription service and I feel that the developers would make more money.

There are other apps out there that do the same thing, but this allows you to learn how to do the same thing except this version is nice and easy. I'm practicing on the piano right now watching this. The developer really thought this out as a music teacher who could relate to tone deaf students and Perfect Pitch students and that's why it's my favorite

Info is always good and this app has it. Here is what is wrong with this app: 1.) The user interface is very un intuitive, this app assumes you can figure it out right away, and has things placed, as though you have already gotten a walk through. 2.) The app does not communicate about it's mode of monitization, until you are already knees deep in frustrating menu's trying to figure out how to compose or even study with it. Overall pretty sus, if you ask me.

For the purpose of a quick, practical reference that helps to bridge the gap between abstract concepts and the effort to make thoughtful, musical expression, this app exceeds my expectation. I began using this app with the thought that I could review the basics. Yet, I found that I was introduced to concepts I hadn't yet learned, and in a way that includes descriptive articles, clear diagrams, and triggered audio. It has proved itsel a useful composition tool.

I'm in awe. As I explore the app and tap on random buttons to see what it does, my husband started giving me funny looks because I kept saying, aloud, "Oh wow!" "Oh my gosh this is so cool." "It can do that too?" And the Matching Chords tool? πππ» I'm a novice multi-instrumentalist with enough music theory knowledge to do the basic stuff. I've been trying to get back into it on guitar and piano, but this app is a goldmine if you're a musician. It's going to be so useful in so many ways.

Useful app for reinforcement of music theory, quick references (with the means to try out the concepts) and expand your knowledge. You need to have some theory background, as it's not a teaching course in and of itself. Though you can learn more with it to enhance your knowledge of theory, as well as fill in some blanks. It covers a wide range of "tools" that may be a single app from other sources. It's like a complete toolbox. Kudos to the developer of this app.

Five stars, great app, I use it all the time in my songwriting. I was on the free version till today because I only buy apps with a one-time price -- I don't do recurring payments. So, thanks for adding that option. Only one minor issue: since buying the full version, the app randomly turns completely white with no usable screens. I force stopped it, cleared cache and data, reinstalled; it still does it. Just as randomly it starts working normally again, so I can live with it! ETA: Fixed itself

Great app! It's so useful to have a collection of tools like this in one place. I really like the ability to flip between viewing notes/chords on a staff, piano, and guitar fretboard. And as a lefty, being able to flip the guitar fretboard around is super helpful. One thing that would make it even better is to somehow integrate chord inversions and different chord voicings, w/ ability to hear & see them visually represented on staff/piano/fretboard. I'll add a plus to my 5* for that π.
