Worst app ever. I'm on the Super Data plan, but can't buy Super Data via the app. Error message says "No valid content to display". NO ONE at MTN seems to know what this means or how to fix it. I was even told that if you are on the Super Data plan, you can't buy Super Data bundles. It doesn't even make sense. The mind boggles.

This App is shocking. It's a joke. I've been trying to buy data on the App, with a card, to get the "in app deal" for more than 2 weeks. It doesn't work and after many, many phone calls to MTN customer service, they are not prepared to or not able to help either. Don't waste your time.

Please change how you show paid for data bundle. Separate balances between 1 day data and 7 days data so that one can easily Separate the two. Yesterday I bought 1gb for 1 day and 400mb for 7 days. The app showed 1.4gb as expiring on the same day at 23:59. This was very confusing, because it not separate the balances as per their time frame.

Terrible app. Is very slow and takes long to load. Alot of time app will say payment submitted but email will say transaction failed. OTP takes so long app times out, resulting in you having to close and try again from beginning. Can buy airtime and data much faster from the banking app, but have higher prices. Cannot even update banking details

This is so disappointing for a big company like MTN. Please invest more money or capable technicians to service/maintain the app that is crucial to your customers experience with your network. There is ALWAYS a terrible lag, very irritating pop ups that make the app look "cheap", very ambiguous navigation & the constant need to log in with an OTP every time. I'd understand if it was a small network or a started local plumbing company or something. But certainly not what you expect from MTN

MTN phased out the Website where account details could be viewed, and replaced it with this App. Now I can't access all my accounts at once and because OTP replaced the passwords, I have to have each and every device with me if I want to log in. Many functions simply does not work, nor does it give a useful explanation of the error. Only works in portrait, MTN please note some would like to use this on a tablet too. The floating menu options on the bottom of the screen blocks out some functions that appear right at the bottom. And so the problems it goes on. MTN please test your Apps before you release them.

The new update doesn't setup properly. It is default configured for South Africa, I am from Ghana but I cannot change it .. The developer's response was correct.. it appears I downloaded another MTN app when trying to update the one I have . I have increased the rating from 1 star to 3 stars due to my overall experience

Why don't you remove this irritating message notification which says "You have been logged into your MTN account".That is so unnecessary because I can clearly see that I'm logged in.I have tried to find a way of opting out of that notification but it seems there isn't.The app needs some improvements because it is sometimes slow and crashes.Also what happened to my check-in days,I had a considerable amount of check-in days only to wake up to find that I have zero,start afresh.

The My MTN app is still better. You can view the dates your data expires. You can view your data usage per month immediately and not ask for an email to be sent. Your latest bill details appear immediately. The functionality of the My MTN app just feels more user friendly. I like the look of the new app, white is very clean. However the user experience is far nicer & convenient in the old app. People like to see everything in one place without having to wait for emails and jump between screens.

The mtn app is very satisfactory. I'd like to add a suggestion, for example when a user has multiple bundles, give the user the option to prioritize or temporarily block certain bundles for an amount of time or either set a list where the user can put the bundle they'd want to use on top first(priority list), it would be a really nice feature to have since it is so difficult to manage bundles. Doing so would give users more functionality.

Constant crashing. You would think the app that allows us to give them money would be better developed. Full of ads - I'm already on your service, so leave me alone! Have to go through so many hoops and options just to see the "specials" and top ups. Anytime I require an excel spreadsheet just to figure out what to buy, you know you're being scammed.

Just wow, brilliant app! The interface, ease of use and more. I really like that it also has a widget that actually WORKS that you can put to your home screen to see your balances, airtime, data, etc. I really cannot think of anything bad to say about the app, it's just that good. It is also very much secure which I appreciate, like when you make purchases it sends out an OTP to make sure that it's really you that's making the purchase. Great job MTN, I'm blown!

This is great improvement ....when you open the app you have all the service of MTN at your finger tips. You don't have to remember some numbers to get a service. This makes communication easy as we are living in the world of technology everything is digital. This app easy to use ...straight to the Point with it's service .you can clearly see the balance of all the airtime. The voice. .data ..sms just clear.when we want to know other MTN offers will quickly know where to find them easily.

Very easy to use with more information one could needs. However, the most important part of TRANSPARENCY in the App is missing. You should add a graphic column that clearly shows how, when and where our data have been used and/ or depleted with date and time recorded on it to make it even more easier to trace and track the usage of data.

I like the new look of the app. But I have a few issues. 1. I can't seem to be able to manage multiple numbers anymore. This makes it easier to one to keep track of data usage on SIM cards I put in my routers. 2. Tried to give feedback on the app, and after choosing your rating, it asks why I chose my rating but doesn't allow to type.

I must say, this app is trash. It came from like 8/10 to 1/10. The older version was simpler, responsive and faster, why change or fix something that isn't broken? It's like the software team were so fascinated with the look/appearance of the app, specializing in CSS and HTML yet seem to have forgotten about the principles of using the right optimized Algorithms and data structures for the time complexities. Now it's pain waiting for UI just to be responsive like it used to be. 🤦‍♂️

Absolutely HORRIBLE! Just like one can expect from MTN! App is anything but user friendly; rather unorganised and messy! You have to log in every time you open the app and wait for a OTP. Balances are not shown on top, but instead you first have to scroll past an ad to get to your balances. You cannot upload a profile pic, because the storage permission is not available in manifest values when you open settings | permissions. VERY BAD!
