Put's all the information I need at my fingertips, I was amazed that Microsoft actually built something useful. I trade on a daily basis and this app has been a total game changer for me, I can make a decision to place a trade in seconds instead of minutes since everything I need is a tap away. Edit: they removed most features I enjoy, pretty useless now.

I have been using this app daily for a few years and liked it. Being able to track the major exchanges, as well as my own funds, has been very useful. Some of the news stories are interesting occasionally. As of the February 2019 update, the Market tab doesn't work anymore, thus the 2 star rating. A market app that doesn't show how the market is doing is pointless. If they fix it it'll be a 5 star app again. UPDATE: As of March 1, the app is now fixed and market stats now show again.

Watchlist not showing in app this week (but shows up fine on web). Crashes every time when attempting to open the markets for the past few weeks. Email sent to the support address shown in Google store for the app bounces as undeliverable. Pathetic! UPDATE: Almost a month after I posted my initial review, MSN Money is STILL crashing with every attempt to open the markets. Many other are reporting the same issue. Pathetic!

Overall good app. You can get lots of info quick. Hardly any options to customize behavior. News search is terrible, maybe driven by Bing without any filtering for investment nature of the news. But overall has a simple interface to get and summarize data. Edit 30 Mar 2017. Downgrade. Recent upgrade wiped out watchlist. Was that really necessary Microsoft? Edit 1 Mar 2019. Another update wiped out watchlist. Sigh.

Does MSN do any market research before updating your app? My home screen always shows the key indices, their $ change for the day and % change. Now all you show is %. That's virtually worthless to me. I want to know absolute movement of the markets. And you offer no way to customized to how of like to view it. I'm not going to use an app I have to go for 2-3 levels to see something that should be shown on the market summary page. I know if no other reporting media that shows it this way.

Could be a great app but.... Every time I close and re-enter the app, it says that I have made changes while the app is closed and asks me if I want to merge the changes. No changes were ever made. The watch list is limited as to the number of stocks it will display. Once set, additional stocks will not be displayed. You must uninstall/re-install app occasionally and start over.

What is wrong with you guys. Most recent feedback from many others is similar: Watchlist disappeared, no option to recreate it, if trying to do so, message says "stock previously added to your Watchlist" but not showing up, constantly asking to "merge accounts", not sure why or for what reason , and the list continues. Not something expected from Microsoft. Please fix ASAP or just retire the app from the stores!!!!

Watchlist is still missing on Android phone, can't add ticker symbol because "already exist " multiple delete and re -install attempts of the app. ( the app seems to work fine on my laptop.). Also.. More often than not , when lanching the app from Android phone, it often asks if I want to "merge" because I "made changes " when in reality, I never signed out of the account. Seems to be a very common problem that should've been addressed by now from such a high profile Co.

Was working fine, however the last two updates the app no longer works on my S22. I can get it to load some information by using WiFi. If using just phone data the app will not get past the initial splash screen. I've sent messages to the developers and even offered to provide additional information. Still not fixed after several weeks. Un-installing and re-installing didn't help.

Update 3/14/24: What happened? It keeps showing error when I check news. App not ready for update. I cannot see news anymore. ***** useful to track stock and gold price. once in awhile, it does not show what I have in my list, but I have not found anything better. it will be good if it shows the future price early in the morning.

No longer works. It crashes every time i try to look further at things like bond rates. Okd review....Works well across appliances. Smooth operation, fast stock updates, very easy to use, never crashes. It's now gotten eve worse. Not updating any of the news and crashing in multiple areas of the app. Would not recommend this to any one.

Occasionally loses watch list. Very good. Information all easily accessible, and well organized. I have pet peeves about bad user interfaces, but this app has a truly brilliant interface. News feed is usually devoid of poorly written clickbait articles, but not always. The layout is dense enough with stuff I actually want to see that I use this more than my brokerage's app. Price history charts need a constant $0 line. Taking up so much space with negative values makes them nearly useless

Clunky app. The "News" tab feed is out constantly. When you click on "News" you are taken to a blank page ... no stories. And whem it is working, it only shows stories from weeks or months ago, nothing new. Look at all the recent negative Play Store reviews re this and other problems. MSN is aware of the problems but they lack qualified IT personnel to fix them. It's no secret that the MSN arm of Microsoft is struggling financially. I finally gave up and switched to another app.

Very streamline and just the right amount of information. I only wish this was this easy 10 years ago. Lately I can't add to my watch list. It opens app a d offers merge and I merge but it doesn't my 2atchlist doesn't show up. I try to add the stick again and it says already on watchlist but doesn't display it. Crashes alot. But it us a ery good app when working. Unfortunately it crashes too much. 😕

Until today, April 2022, this was a fantastic app. For reasons that are unexplainable, all good features of the app have gone away. It's not even possible to change it from dark mode. The headline page is gone. The key index graphs are gone. Different pages are gone, in favor of a single page of uncategorized data - just a list of stocks (yes, my favorites, but...) and a list of stories, without any differentiation of importance, source, or timing. Please just bring back the old app format!!

Very informative, good interface, no memory or crash issues. Recently watchlist is gone!! Says check internet connection, nothing is wrong with it. Have uninstalled & reinstalled to no avail. Also before this was having issues with being able to see some stock info on some stocks in watchlist, would go back to stock list. Continues to not work properly on Android, half **s on iphone!

This app worked fine for a few years. Out of the blue, I get nothing but a black screen - this last a few months. Nothing I tried worked. Today, out of no where the app comes back with the different topics appearing ( news, market list, tools, etc.) However, when you select an article to read nothing shows- just an error that app is loading. I used to love this app and had no problems and used daily. Now, so frustrating nothing on app is working well.Ugh!
